personal attacks either way will be dealt with. I added the victim's for emphasis.

I think that this thread is a valuable discussion. Any attacks on this thread will be deleted. I've been thinking about this stuff for a number of months. Last year someone called me a liar. I felt one way about a poster and she felt another. I would have termed it a disagreement. She is entitled to her opinion and I am entitled to mine. I think that many people have been hurt by TWI. Your experience may have been different. The response to a differing opinion isn't pulling out the "liar" card or sniping at another poster. If you truly don't like another poster, ignore them. As LindaZ said, think before clicking the add reply button. We are going to do some experimenting. If there is the hint of a personal attack in a post, I am going to delete that post. What was time consuming was editing the post to take that out. Hopefully the meaningful posts will remain. Is this going to be subjective? Yes. But we will do our best to be fair. And if we make a mistake, we will do our best to repair it. You, as a poster here, will have to think before posting. Another thing that I am requesting is that if you think someone is attacking another poster, please report it. The more eyes the better. We may not achieve world peace, but let's head in that direction. Varying viewpoints are welcome; Disagreeing passionately is welcome, but the attacks don't add anything positive to the discussions. And for those of you that seem insistent on diminishing or destroying victims' stories, it won't be tolerated any more. Groucho, some great stuff there.

She asked me to remove her.

I have been enjoying this thread, lots of great ideas. We ARE here to tell the other side of the story. But there is no reason why we can't enjoy ourselves while doing it. This is a community and social outlet. about 40% of the posting on this site is in About the Way, keeping it the major "attraction" here. I don't think there is anything wrong with the social aspect. I have tried to make this an enjoyable place in addition to telling the other side of the story. Many people come to this site to find answers that have eluded them in their search for resolution and recovery. Some stay and enjoy the other aspects of this site and others decide that they have what they need and move on. Both valid and acceptable paths. For those that leave, I wish them well in their lives and the same for those that stay. I will probably have more to say later, great thread.

We are here to tell the other side of the story, Johniam. You are making a twisted statement. All stories are from a POV. Many are about recovery. If TWI and/or it's leadership, past of present, are the "villians" then so be it. You are not going to drag a victim through the mud on this board. Your opinions don't invalidate the reality of the story.

Let's set a few things straight. there is not a poster named vixxxen on this site. A poster by that name said something about Larry Moore on a site that has NO association with this site. I don't see ANY reason for it being part of a discussion here. Many of you have other boards that you visit. I would think it would be inappropriate to bring discussions from another site to this site. We have more than enough stuff on this board going on than to bring another board's discussions over here. And this hearsay is just that hearsay. Furthermore this forum is "About the Way" So I am going to delete the posts that are "About the Vixxxen"

Today represents an important time in history. A 3 decade process that brought redemption. Today all the madness of the Season ceases and we have a chance to be with family. Traditions are repeated that ultimately are about what happened over 2 centuries ago. The Birth of Christ is as meaningful today as when it happened. GS tries to chip away covering that is blocking full appreciation of this Birth. We have the most diverse of belief systems represented on this site. At the core of all the beliefs, the Life of Christ impacted and affected what we are today. I wish that all of you have a great day today. An oasis in the midst of the rest of the year.

www.nme.com gave a short review saying it was tight and better than expected. David Fricke will post a review tomorrow on Rollingstone.com Exit interviews were very positive and the few that saw them back when said it was as good and in some cases better than the 70's concerts

I'd love to meet the twisted person that did that. It was hilarious

This is Elana James a violin player and great vocalist. I saw her last year when I saw Dylan. She puts on quite a show. She even autographed her CD for me. It was love at first sight, at least for me.

Many of you remember Plotinus, a revered poster on GS. I consider him a friend. Circumstances are such that he doesn't post anymore. But we remain in touch. About 3 weeks ago, there was a fire in the family home. Plots, his wife and two children got out with their life and the clothes on their back. They lost everything in the fire. They will be moving into a new home this week and rebuilding their life. I have a list of some of the particular things that they need and will send it to anyone interested in helping. I know what losing everything in a fire is like, everything that you considered your "stuff" is no longer there. I sure that things like gift cards to places like Walmart, target and others would come in handy. They could certainly use it.
