I am thinking about introducing a different means of curtailing the costs of this site. (The site will always be free, rest assured) Amazon has a program that would pay GS a fee for every transaction on Amazon at no additional cost to the buyer. I wanted to conduct a poll to see how viable that is.

Do you use a desktop or a laptop? verizon wireless gives you access almost anywhere and is suited best for laptops. But you have to get a data plan with verizon which is pricey. dsl has come down in price and is suited for home use (laptop or desktop) and would be much less expensive than a mobile wireless plan.

Rory Gallagher is one of the best blues guitarists and quite unknown. He started in a group called Taste and then went solo. His first and second albums are must haves. (Rory Gallagher and Deuce) My cousin turned me on to him way back when, actually pre-twi.

I do all the effects in post production. the PMD 660 is 4.45 x 7.2 x 1.85" so it is a lot smaller that either the Zoom or the Tascam. I thought I was going to win an auction on ebay yesterday for one got ekkked out in the last second and missed it by 15.00.

Anyone have any experience with the Marantz PMD 660 Digital Recorder. I'm thinking about this one, but they are a bit pricey. I am going to be doing some remote podcast and wanting something smaller than a laptop.

Great thread. A few thoughts. How does this not happen much in traditional churches. Simple on the board of directors of a church, the minister is not the one in charge. Quite the opposite, the minister is accountable to the board. Called checks and balances. That was the fatal error in TWI and in the offshoots, like CES/STFI the "Man of God" is also the head of the board. Wierwille was accountable to no one. He set the rules for himself and the rules for those on the board. Another thing that I have been thinking about a lot lately. Much was taught on how the followers should treat the "Man of God". Little was taught on how the "Man of God" was responsible to the followers.

I was a first time cat owner when I got my two. I come from a dog owner background. So I was constantly trying to pick them up and touch them. I was told from many sources to leave them be and only attempt to pet them, if they come to you. My two hide all the time until I took the hands off approach. They still hate it when I pick them up, I don't do it too often. Basically they are training you.
