Did you change some Internet Options? On Firefox, there is a setting for "page style" that will strip out formatting and background images if you turn it off. IE doesn't have a direct equivalent If you turned on any of the "accessibility" options that could screw up the viewing.

I've been wanting to update the rules for quite some time. To clarify some areas. Honestly, I tried a number of times but couldn't come up with any viable changes. I realized that I needed to give it to someone else. So what I did was pick 5 people from GS and tried to get varying viewpoints. They are hard at work and I like the way they are going through the process. There is no deadline at this point, but I anticipate that the rules will have much more clarity Also in the next few weeks, we will be adding some new features to the forums, more to follow.

It meant deleting the thread, which you had a very big hand in derailing with your attacks. And if you continue, you will be suspended. I am not going to have you or others destroying threads.

I'm on a 960 calorie a day liquid diet that is medically supervised. Started on the 1st of the month lost about 23 lbs so far.

I'm doing a medically supervised diet using OptiFast shakes. The 6 shakes a day give you all of your daily nourishments. I drink at least a half gallon of liquid a day and am limited to 12 oz of caffeine a day. It is less than 1000 calories a day. www.optifast.com

Rocky, There are cases, usually due to inactivity, where someone re-registers with a new name and different email address that in effect is allowing duplicate addresses. Almost all cases the registration is due to someone forgetting their old screen name.

I don't expect agreement. But everyone should get a voice. A few years back, I experimented with a forum just for women where they would have the privacy to discuss things. The concept was sensible, the execution didn't work. Oldiesman said something to the effect that this was the big league and anyone discussing should be prepared to play. (I couldn't find the quote) I understand what he is saying and would say that that applies to forums like Doctrinal and Politics, which get very little moderation. But many readers, lurkers and members aren't in the Big League. Opening up with your story is difficult and even overwhelming. They are not ones that can necessarily match the debating skills of quite a few here. One of the reasons that I deleted the posts by White Dove and oldiesman was that they are "Big League" and that others in that thread weren't and their voice was getting drowned out. Discussions aren't always opposing views (pro-Wierwille, anti-Wierwille). A discussion on rape, as an example, would be talking about the incident and others adding in similar experiences, asking questions, getting advice. There has to be a way when a topic is started that it could be defined and the Big Leaguers avoid or join based on that definition. This will give, hopefully, a more equal voice to all. I'd like an honest discussion on this and hopefully the community can mold a solution that is agreeable to all.

Bill, I DID keep it quiet. This thread was started by Jonny and very early on you were Bumpy's advocate. I said very early on that this should have been handled privately

I suspended him and notified him on the 1st. I gave no more explanation because I have warned him Numerous times in the past in PM's and when he was suspended the last time. HE did the same thing to the same person he has done it DOZENS of times. If he couldn't figure it out, then that is HIS problem I took his demand as a threat. Bill you sent me an email saying basically the same thing!! Now you are changing your story!!! I don't regret suspending him, I would do it again. By the way, when he was suspended for 20 days in January, he thought it was permanent too!

Bill, After all the crap he sent me in email, do you expect me to even consider letting him back. I PM'd him prior to his suspension and he couldn't give me a straight answer. I am not going to spend all my time and energy on Bumpy , I've wasted enough on someone that just wants to call me names. I can't believe that you are defending him after the emails he sent me, really can't believe it

Rhino, For a guy that loved dishing it out, he didn't take it very well.

I gave Bumpy a ten year suspension as a joke since he was so keen on busting my cubes on a regular basis. But based on his correspondence with me, including a threat to one of the posters here, I think the suspension is adequate.

Jonny, Bumpy DOES know why. He is lying to you. He is doing very typical trollish things. Add confusion to the whole thing and you are buying into it. If you are so irritated with the management here, then leave. I can't please everyone.
