Suzanne Ryan is on the Cape, divorced Tom Burke was in Ohio the last I heard. He posted on Greasespot for awhile. The Cortwright page has some info on their music page.

That's one of the nicest things anyone's said!!! Kinda like "I didn't know Paul McCartney was in the Beatles!"

New front page article: Nostalgia for TWI Research Raises Questions
pawtucket replied to pawtucket's topic in About The Way
We bought things without thinking. "You have to get your needs and wants parallel" Makes no sense, it would make more sense, "You have to get your needs and wants to intersect" Someone corrected VP by saying it should be "Need and Wants perpendicular" (In addition to your bible, please bring a compass and slide rule to fellowship tonight) -
The GOT TRUTH "bumper sticker fiasco"
pawtucket replied to dmiller's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
To Godmadegirl, First of all I didn't notice a name being mentioned. I think "appalled" is a bit dramatic, don't you? When Billy PM'd me and mentioned it, I removed it immediately. I told Billy what I did about his post and he agreed. The way this site works is if you see something like a person's name, just click the report button. With this latest version of forum software, an alert is right at the top for all the mods to see. DMiller, I think you are swell too! -

When you go in, do you see a "connect" button at the top left? Press that if you do.

CES Board of Directors
pawtucket replied to Rejoice's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
The prophetic council is just plain weird. It was more witchcraft than anything Biblical. The Jedi council with Yoda was better. -
I'm beginning to think this way about religion, If they solicit money as an integral part of their program, they ain't about God but themselves. And if you are a minister and have to put on makeup prior to your service, you are doing it for yourself. And all ministers should get off TV and make room for "My Mother the Car" reruns.

John Lynn's recent email
pawtucket replied to pawtucket's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
So, What's the Score? The word "Christ" or "Christian" appears eight times in that letter, including one reference to the title of a class and another spelling out the name of CES. In contrast, the word "me" is there 32 times. "My" or "myself" appears 52 times. And the word "I" appears 130 times. The Score so far, (According to John Lynn) That's 214 references to John Lynn, 8 to his Lord. And he wants to start Another ministry!!! -

I have to redo the timeline. The document contains a table, which html doesn't like. I should have that up tonight. -
Hi Billy, How are things in New Knoxville?

John Lynn's recent email
pawtucket replied to pawtucket's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
John Lynn's Letter to the Board of CES/STFI 12/21/08 “Prophetic words” from the Board to Elizabeth 5/1/03. The wimpy email I wrote 1/16/09, and my explanation of it. STF Board 8/09 Letter/Timeline with my comments. Letter from a supporter questioning JAL's firing, and Dan G.'s response. Letter from longtime staffer Bob Maffit re: his experience with the Board. John Schoenheit's reply to biblical criticism of his July/August Sower letter, with my critique of how I believe he mishandled the Word therein. My letter to the Board in 2007 about Dave and Sue Carlson. Suggested questions to ask the Board. -
Hey Brother, Can You Spare Me 195 Bucks???

I think that a "Silent Retreat" should be the board's new theme. -

You are welcome. More to come. The attachments are next. -
I received a copy of this email sent by John Lynn. I do agree that JAL was treated poorly by a group of people that dabbled in Black Arts and disguised it as "Godly" I can't help remembering back about 20 years ago when he was fired from TWI along with the power plays of Geer and Martindale. Right or wrong isn't important. The big question, to me anyway, is what about the followers? Hard working, salt of the earth people that believed these men were going to lead them and teach them. None of these men really lost, but the followers were dumped without a thought. Mr. Lynn posted at Greasespot a few years back about the CES/STFI problems. He aimed the spotlight on himself and himself alone. Not once did he speak to the followers' needs, wants or concerns. A dear friend has told me that he isn't as arrogant as before. Make your own decisions. Here is his email.

John Lynn and STFI
pawtucket replied to Factfinder's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
John Lynn was indeed fired. He sent an email about it this week. I received a copy of it. -
He doesn't need a huge following, small, elite and exclusive builds a certain attraction. CG can live quite comfortably with his pricing, reportedly about $5000.00 per instructor per year. Very little overhead, he can still live well with just 10 instructors in the country. He has many more than that.

Detached from Reality? -
It's a personal choice. I sold a few things and then decided to stop. For me, it was going against what I believe. Many people do.

I took his class about 12 years ago. And I firmly believe his class to be the greatest cure of insomnia in the world today.

If you build it, they will come.

It was one of my favorite shows. I was about the same age as the Beav. And I looked like him. I came home from a summer in Ireland, not knowing about the phenomenon. Girls were yelling and screaming when they saw me, but not running in the opposite direction like they normally did. Finally one of the Security guys told me that I looked like the Beaver. Thank God I don't look like him now!!
