  1. Some pretty good lines in there Dot. It missed loving your enemies though, even the ones in our minds. When we do this the enemies are seen for what they are and are transformed. The ones in our minds that is. As far as someone else, it's effect will be seen down the road and perhaps not bt the one who loved.
  2. Well, I don't believe it's about a haircut, that's for sure. It is about following Christ as stated at the beginning of the chapter. I don't think it has anything to do with a womans physical hair attracting 'angels'. Especially in a bad sense. I don't think it's jumping around, covering any physical details, but spiritual realities. Corinthians is written to admonish the carnal fleshly to think more spiritually. I would think he is not talking about physical appearance. But rather the realities of what we are made of and what we can do with 'it'. And by the way we are angels, invisible as the spirit. What we see physically is not who we are. Who we are cannot be seen. It is only by fruit, manifestations and more that the effects of who we are are seen. The angels or mighty men or Sons of God spoken of in the story of the flood are just like us. There will be no more wide spread flood as in the days of Noah. It happens on an individual basis. I also believe that the flood was good for all. Even the ones that 'perished' lived. The windows of Heaven were opened not just Hell. Hell is part of Heaven. It is the consuming fire within. Today it happens on an individual case or person as the Lord wills. Matthew 32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Luke 22And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. 26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32Remember Lot’s wife. 33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. ------------------- This coming is from within where God resides as well as in the air that we breath and surrounds every soul. People will not be disappearing before our eyes. These things will happen within themselves. -------------------- We are to be followers of Christ, whether it's called Christ or not, makes no difference. It's what we are hearing and doing. Regardless all will experience the 'Flood'. And the we will have our eyes open to the "windows" of Heaven.
  3. Check your add-remove programs in control panel and see if it installed AIM chat thing and uninstall it. It's not needed for Xdrive to work.
  4. Or use RegSeeker from here- http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm
  5. No they never came back. I took them out of the startup and services tabs. And if you have to, use Tuneup2007 to stop them. http://www.tune-up.com/?utm_source=Googlef...gn=ExactBranded
  6. O yeah...save the website for XDrive as a favorite or bookmark. I have mine on my desktop and can easily access it within a few seconds. Aol has improved since it's early days. It's browser can even compete with the popular ones now. They seem to have awakened out of the mafia mindset and working with what you have already.
  7. Sudo, I loaded both. GSpace works well, as well as GDrive. But according to the rules of GMail, these things can cause problems if used too much. The worst is that GMail will close for 24 hours. Use it sparingly. Or it seems to detect it being used for spam operations. XDrive however is designed to be used quite frequently. And with 5GB's it is quite useful. The web interface is better then the desktop application. Because it's quicker to log into. My only complaint about XDrive is no hyperlinking to share content. Like a website. It must be shared via E-Mail Contact. And it works very well. After I installed XDrive, I stopped all aol processes through msconfig. And XDrive still works very well with the web interface. I would suggest the web interface rather then the desktop application for speed. And this has been confirmed by other knowledgeable sources.
  8. I'll submit that the woman is to have a 'covering' as in long hair to indicate a following. Following the wisdom and spirit. For it is a shame for a man to have long hair-a following. If a man is looking for followers it is a shame. The man already has the position, abuse of it is a shame. It's the woman, the spirit that is to be followed. this is the glory of the woman. Both man and woman IN the same person of Christ within. Nothing to do with Jesus. Jesus is not God, this is true. But that Jesus revived it's living reality, God within, as did Enoch and more as well as Abraham. Consider Samson and his 'hair'. It was his strength to let the spirit work.
  9. here's another 'book' that may interest you Abigail http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&...+book+of+Jasher
  10. Here's a good place to learn about your computer. It's speed and tweaks and such. Their are programs listed in this section- http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Must-Read-B...-Log-t2852.html That will help with your computer speed at- http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/forums.html If you register and log in, underneath the 'geeks' names will be all sorts of programs that can help your computer. You can't see the list of programs unless you are logged in. Then underneath the Admin's name and other posters who help are the programs. I wouldn't post a 'hijack this log' unless asked too after posting your problem in the appropriate thread. These guys and girls can help, though sometimes it takes a day or two to get to your thread, they will get to you eventually.
  11. All have eternal life. It's just a matter of when one sees it. If all do not have eternal life then the hate groups are right and war and murders are justified. As well as cults (another word for hate group) and torture and forcing beliefs onto others.
  12. Strange Gods would be Gods that are strange to the person imo. In other words they don't know what their God is. So there is an image made to represent that God in many cases. Seems it says to find out about your God.
  13. I have no doctrinal 'stance' as to the proposed questions. I have learned that if I stop at a belief. Then growth has stopped in that particular belief. The fundamentals are simple enough, Love God, Love your neighbor as yourself. One can never escape these two, nor will they be denied in a person's life. Cause wherever you are, that is going to be the case in truth. Realized or not. It's not a doctrine as in unchanging but in growth. As soon as one sees where they are and where they have been, progress is already made and passed the point that they were. Doctrines are binding, limited stop signs in thought process. If Jesus is Lord then do we know what this lordship is? There are many lords and kings of which it says he is king of. And who is this God that cannot be seen by man. So this 'man' must 'die' to see God. A process, not just 'bang' your dead. Every end is a beginning, every beginning has an end.
  14. http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/main....=1&cmd=home click here and it'll show you you have tyo sign up, no prob though
  15. Hey Paw, Check out Dot's Thread in doctrinal and tell me if you don't see a topic. I think there is a great need to hang in real time here, and I do wish more would come. Even those that seemingly don't like each other or whatever you know? Not as good as face to face but talkshoe is a step up for sure. Any topic would do, we just want to 'see' each other. Thanks
  16. I had friends in the way, i thought, when i got out i found they were not. I had three friends who had been killed before the way. I joined the way and left the rest behind. After 20 years I don't know where they are, or who they are and they don't know me. My Mom went back to church and made some friends quickly. How odd, I thought, that it could happen that easily. She doesn't even believe the same things they do. But has pushed through that separation into friendship. A lesson that I and we need to learn, everyone is different and the same. The vice clamped on my head has loosened and fallen off. I can't live alone, though I've done it now even raising a family. My wife and kids are the closest friends I have. I suppose I'm lucky, some don't have that. Then there's greasespot, and the friends I made here. Friends I've yet to meet face to face. I do not Believe you Dot, that you would become darkness. Fellowshipping with darkness would actively cut off light. I don't see this happening with you at all. This thread is proof of that. Peace to you.
  17. I'll second that T-Bone. Applies to all sorts of things and situations I believe.
  18. hmmm...yes assuming something to be true can be misleading the facts and truth of this case are quite old then there is always sayings and rumors about great people even written ones...
  19. Well...if you are going to minister grace to the hearers, you should get an idea of what that grace is. Of which 2 Corinthians is a part of. One can be told things and not see it, is that not being blinded? And even for their good and certainly grace. There is a season for everything, and it will come ministering grace to the hearers. I am very much on the subject of this thread and a key ingredient of it.
  20. Those don't say satan is the god of this world.
  21. Who says satan is the god of this world?
  22. You don't know what I'm doing or saying. dww
  23. We will each have our day to 'know' the Lord Jesus. Without knowing how could on truly confess him as Lord? So back to gnosis, reminds me of those who worship that which they have not met....... yet. Yes Jesus is Lord, but it's the Christ that leads, from within and from without, ears to hear and eyes to see will open. Of which Jesus became one with. As well as others have sustained for a time. No one could handle it constantly, it's that big. Even Jesus retreated to the Garden at times. Though retaining what he experienced and learned. So it is with all who have experienced his coming. A name above all names, even Paul.
  24. Already have and done with it. Bye Larry.
  25. lol...didn't even name anyone and look who shows up...lol sheesh...too funny....
