on leaping from Faith to Faith...and back again
cman replied to sirguessalot's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
reflective questions are cool it's like searching our own selves and heart and spirit laying them on the table from the honesty in us rather then directed to any one individual it's put up for contemplation, exploration and a map of a sort realizing of course there are more maps, questions when these begin to connect answers start coming in a friggin whirlwind as maps collide and line up taking one's breath away so breath deep and let it all out cuz there's always more that will come questions lead to more questions, maps of the soul/spirit a reaching or journey or quest, with a bit of effort to see other maps and questions for what they are reveals more answers to quest quest thru............ the answers we already have it's the approach that is refined to see them -
Why doesn't God just say what he means?

I'll answer your only question. "ok, then, so what would YOU call it?" I won't say, but I won't call it something I don't believe it is. Riddles make you think. It's the whole point. -

Yeah...and funny how it's all one...all this unique stuff How we were so beat into 'one mind' crap, is damaging. There is so much to one it's incredible! Humanity all connected, with so much to see........ Our relationship with many things. -

It's not the "instruction manual for life". It's not understood for simple reasons. Of which you don't care to hear at this time. Which is fine with me, no problem. You want it on your terms. Rather then wanting to know, you want it your way. Perhaps the way to hear it is easier then your way. I told you it's in code, decoded by the spirit. This is what to learn, your spirit. Few venture into their own selves to free themselves. Seeing they see not. Hearing they hear not. Must be something to see and hear that just keeps coming. Always will be, cause 'it' never shuts up. -ever..... It's there, hidden in plain sight. -
Good point Danny. You can use a media player to break them down into tracks also and burn them from there. Also there are tagging software programs that will tag your files with the correct song title. http://www.mediamonkey.com/ Another option would be to convert the files to wmp or mp3 and try burning them. If it's your cd burner, try to make a cd with a few files. Here's a link to players and converters- http://www.donationcoder.com/Forums/bb/ind...hp?topic=9462.0 http://www.donationcoder.com/Forums/bb/ind...?action=search2 Also open My Computer. Go to the cd burner- right click properties and check the recording tab and make sure it's set to record. Set it at a slower speed if needed to see if that would work.

if it's a used erased or formated cd-rw then that could be the problem try a new cd and see if that works i have had an error because i had used the cd before even though it was erased or reformated if all you have is used ones, try erasing or reformating the cd on the computer you will use to burn first, then try it o and if you want to reinstall your burner right click My Computer Properties Hardware Find the cd-burner uninstall it reboot and windows will reinstall the cd-burner with the correct drivers also do windows update custom scan download related cd programs 'wdrm enabled' comes to mind......

'every man' is clear enough-including women 'that hath' is not clear one could have yet not know it, therefore no hope is had so the verse about those without hope haven't seen it yet... if i had it and you didn't or you did and i didn't what kind of God is that? time to trade up I'd say... this hope seen in the heart as Abi pointed out, as well as seen no man hath seen God blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God who is in Christ

"appearing" is not the same as "returning" I do believe it says the hope is IN us. Yes Abigail.
-
Larry, Why do you think 'this expectation is the 'return of Christ'. Why do you think the hope is the 'return of Christ'. I don't find the phrase 'return of Christ' in the bible. The hope is not presented in that manner. Though many think this way.

I never found God in twi or much of anything till I really read what was written and started seeing that it was true. You know it's funny that it says that God was in Christ. I've asked a few times "where is God' on this forum and have gotten a few good responses. But most people in general don't know where God is. Everywhere? hmmmmm That would be every where I go or you go I'd expect. If one is to believe that he is everywhere, then there is nowhere one can go that he isn't. I don't think God is an outside entity primarily. But an inside reality more so, as well as outside. But what is outside of us? Isn't what we see taken into ourselves? I can easily side with the atheist on the question of God. They actually have some good perspectives. Anyone ever check out some of their most interesting sites? Very informative. They studied more then the way ever had. So if God is in Christ, then where is Christ? Supposedly to return some day? No 'return of Christ' in the bible, but a coming. Coming from within and everywhere.

Seems this 'Hope' is in us. And the appearing may not be what one might expect. Like some world wide drama, but more like what we 'see', cause it doth not yet appear but when 'he' shall appear we shall be like him seeing him as he is. Doesn't say when or how here. Purifying himself even as he is pure. Sounds more like growth to me. Just like 'Him'.

Interesting.... Strange Gods and not knowing what worship is. Kind of fits together in a way. If we get to know these 'gods' we may know what it is to worship. So the more we learn the less strange it is.

Sunesis, you have some good points there. I think it's in code. Decoded by the spirit. Although whatever understanding of it, is another step forward. When we know there is more. Tempered with common sense and selflessness. -
i didn't get the info by email M P-Mosh

Nice, it's a challenge to let them unfold. Problem sometimes is I forget em quickly after waking up. Any pointers on that, if you have some.

hmmm...yeah Abigail, I'm not familiar enough with all the things that were to be done accordingly. Plus there is probably some way brain in me somewhere still...lol... the point being of course to remove this sin blockage to get to life imo as far as Jesus is concerned i think he broke every law in the book in order to kill it's fleshly life and bring in the spirit of the law (Jesus, who is Really Joshua in the correct Hebrew i think the word Jesus cuts off some sound thinking, get tired of hearing it sometimes, sidetracks me a bit cuz it is so abused, the word Jesus that is) so that we don't get hung up on 'sin' or carnal/fleshly stuff and pick up on the spirit without fear of 'judgement' judgement has been such a fleshly fear swinging axe cutting off any real thinking, fear of being wrong to give the law life there has to be spiritualy minded people willing and unafraid to look deeper into the deep things of God just like Joshua or Jesus or anyone cause what one can do, so can another

Good points Lindy. here's the life in the blood thing Lev 17 10And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Interestingly enough is this in Revelations- 13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. I think it's figurative and allegorical or some other fancy word...lol... But it is about life more then about blood imo. And I'd say Jesus was giving life that is in his blood figuratively. Cause really life is in the spirit i would think. Perhaps the "Law" was saying to not be fleshly minded. Life of the 'flesh' in the blood. So many are stuck on the blood part they miss the flesh and life part. So take that fleshly life out and have some meat. Just doing a word search on blood reveals it's spiritual factors. Especially in Hebrews. So many wash their 'robes' in the blood of the Lamb. Have to it seems, cause it's a dirty job I reckon.

Abigail, I'm not trying to take this off subject. And I don't think you do think that, but possible. The Corinthian message really does fit with the context you folks are speaking of. Angels are being spoken of here, and I thought I'd clear up at least part of the references. I do not believe angels are attracted to women with long hair. imo of course... This is not the message of that section in Corinthians as my seeing it. One may notice the use of the hair thing as just casually and surface meaning. It's much deeper then that I believe, yet still very simple. "because of the angels"-this section could be compared to pre-flood days in a general sense, but the women spoken of here doesn't line up with "the daughters of men".....directly..although remotely related, as it all is...every piece of this giant puzzle. So anyways, I apologize if I side tracked your line of thought and exploration into these matters. As Always, Peace to you and yours.....
