  1. a matter of perception really you will do well and fine
  2. So if you were not insulted then you are not a 'follower of the Lord Jesus Christ' Larry? It didn't bother me and I am a former member. And got more then this when I first came to Greasespot. Why does it bother you so much?
  3. No offense taken Abigail. Or from anyone else for that matter. I'm not speaking out against someone in the way. But I will say what it is and try to help, if I can. What the way teaches is not much different then many religions. Tonto getting flack about what she thinks about our guests is something that ain't right. And it was about a distinct type of thinking that all the guests may not have. Whether she is right or wrong was never the issue, but just saying what she thinks is. And to that end I will be on the freedom to speak your opinion 'rite'. I don't agree with a lot of things. But it's this control and manipulate stuff that I will speak against. There was no need to treat tonto's post as an attack. And I can say what twi and vpw taught imo as well as those of different opinions. You may notice that I didn't speak out against some that favor vpw's teachings. It's the way it's presented that got me to speak of what was said. I'm not angry at anyone, just speaking my mind.
  4. This thread is evidence of the mindset of some who still have waybrain. Tonto pointed it out and here comes some that don't like it. Well tough nuggies. We all are in some kind of way mindset, or have dealt with it. This is nothing compared to the hatred taught by vpw and twi.
  5. I believe there is a reason for confessing our faults to each other. It's just needed sometimes...............
  6. From Wikipedia- Yes I was ignorant in twi. Still am in many things, including some twi stuff. Calling someone a twit or way-brained can be taken as an insult, and usually is. Untill one sees that they are, then it's not taken as an insult, but considered in respect to what and why one thinks a certain way. Jesus certainly used more cutting terms to wake some people up. Using those terms with a broad brush may be out of line, but people are human and make mistakes in talking. So do I as we all do. If we could look past that and see the heart of what is being communicated, we might be better for it. Tonto, I believe is stating what he/she thinks at this time and is subject to change. We all have offended in word and deed of some sort. But we move on and try to be better in order to let ourselves be seen and not be misunderstood. Surely tonto knows that he/she was in the exact same place as those talked about. Which helps in recovering from ignorance. We were not stupid, just ignorant. I was, as well as the rest of us. Saying that to yourself helps pull us out of it I believe. The harsh reality of what we were involved in will become clearer as we deal with it in our own ways. Tonto is doing that, though some may be offended. Such is life. Peace to all, even you Larry. That is certainly needed here to see.
  7. You haven't said anything about me. You imply and insinuate things that are not there. Even worse, there are no words from you or me to look at concerning what you say you say about me. And I'll take a break when I want to take a break. Not when or because you said to.
  8. What is your question? What crap is that? That it 'appears' to be.
  9. As if there is something wrong with that. But I'm not 'eager', just know what I'm going to say.
  10. Again you are the one attacking. You would probably like it if I was, but I am not. No deal with this kind of communication. Simply an attempt to start a fight.
  11. And not that T-Bone is perfect or stating his intent clearly. But that is where listening comes into play. Getting to the heart of the matter instead of sidestepping the issues. Generally speaking......
  12. You are changing the entire point of T-Bone's post. Changing the subject to what you think T-Bone thinks. Instead of just having a conversation, you want a war. Refusing to consider the questions, which is fine, but the rest is bs. Dodging questions that are easy to answer.
  13. This is subject to change and does change for many here, so past posts will reflect these changes. It's the ones that 'stand' and can not change with overwhelming evidence that is the mark of a cult/twi/narrow minded thinking. And it's not easy at all when we have been so used and not allowed to think. And I think I can say that about myself for sure. Calling someone a 'member' can reveal to one's self their current thinking. Listening to one's own words is great learning. Whether or not it indicates a pattern of thinking is for the one speaking to see. And some may point out some of these for your consideration. Doesn't mean they are after you to 'attack'.
  14. Yes, so were we all, (for the most part) so why would anyone be treated differently then anyone else? When we know the results of this kind of thinking. You have not been treated unfairly, if that is what you think. Though you seem to require more respect then deserved. Possibly underestimating the honesty of the people here. I recall you questioning honesty here, and saying something about one could be whoever they wanted to be here. That is seen through by most and will not work in this place.
  15. never been a requirement-ever, read the first page of gsc what apple cart would that be? and what is 'your' own No, in fact you would get used to different opinions if you would hear them. Speaking of mirrors................
  16. You have not taken the time to know anyone here. Why would they be concerned about gaining your respect? And this respect you so desire, why is it you desire it? Just be yourself and let your self grow.
  17. O no, it was a serious suggestion. Seriously, why are you here? There is a helping hand within you .... somewhere. Interested in using it? Or something else on your mind? Please tell us what we can do to help.
  18. No attacking here, just tonto's pov- I was ignorant of many things and still am, but not of twi's manipulation tactics. O yes, tell Pawtucket how to run this site that has been doing more for twi people then twi did, that is certain.
  19. It doesn't matter who they are 'with', it's the attitude that is brought with them about GSC. Although it is no secret that you are certainly allowed to break a few dishes and start some food fights here, it will only only be tolerated to a point. It's when these people do not listen to the many that try their darn best to point out certain things. And rather then hear they start mindless, pointless debates to gather followers or hurt the ones that are here that action has been taken by the posters themselves. And if that don't work, a moderator has been known to step in. If you would take the time, Larry, you would find some very interesting things that would change your view, whatever that view is.
  20. That's a lot of assumptions there Larry. You don't know what he means by 'who they are'. Telling anyone to go start your own site does not mean 'to leave' this one. What clique would that be? And why do think he would feel they are being disruptive? The ignore feature doesn't need to be used to ignore anyone. And I'm quite sure Sunesis is aware of this feature. To the best of my knowledge, Sunesis has welcomed other viewpoints. If he has not agreed he has not voiced his opinion as obnoxiously and arrogantly as you, Larry, have here. Though I can't say the same for myself. Did Sunesis describe you Larry?
  21. hmmm...into controlling people he seems to be that's not nice :)
  22. Here's the link- http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkNow.jsp And it's recorded, most of it, so you can listen to past episodes. Just type in Greasespot in the search and you can find them. Also I think there's links in the Greasepot Radio section on GSC's main page.
  23. Sorry to hear that Dot, but you can listen without speakers. It's pretty cool imo. Though there are other podcasts types this one also has a chat feature built in, so you can speak too. In other words without speakers one can still participate.
