Wrong. Except for Wierwielle's fiction god. When you want to to talk about God moving, let's get specific. I can hear the wind blowing even now......

1 Corinthians 14: 31For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. ProphetS-the spirits of the prophets are subject to other prophets 31For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. It's about controling the tongue and not about who is in charge of the spirits. If you are in charge of it that makes you Lord. And Not the Lord Jesus Christ. 'Where two or three are gathered in my name there I am in the midst.' We are to hear one another-'let each prophecy that all may be edified'. twi is still being used as the standard of spiritual things. twi was not spiritual but carnal sensual and devilish. We are to compare spiritual with spiritual. Not Carnal with Spiritual. Submitting to one another in love. Here is part of that fruit. This is closer to what is meant then anything twi has come up with.

rely on scripture? which ones? which interpretations? And don't get me going on "keys".
-
That tells me not much about how you think God operates Dove. twi invented a god that is controlled by the person that is the subject Yes God has always provided and provides. We already have 'it'. I don't know what you mean by 'it'. You say God moved first, He loved us first before we knew him. What do you mean by God moved first? What did he do?
-
Or God would do nothing. It's throughout the class with believing, renewing the mind and manifestations. All of which they knew little to nothing about. The glory was to the man and not God and they built this into a god that we operate instead of a God that works in us. KJV: 2 Pe 1:21 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
-
The thing is that the "moves" are made simultaneously. There is no hesitation once "it's" recognized. It being, knowing what to do or say. Unless there is something in the way, like fear or selfishness...mainly. And care for those involved. There is no reaching up to daddy's cookie jar or waiting for rev. You are the Jar containing God. The flesh only houses it, but does restrict it a bit. Practicing being dead to the flesh increases spiritual awareness. The predetermined time is always now-forever. Any way the point of the thread is that it is not us but God who is doing. And has already done. And it is his timing along with removing barriers that unlocks the spiritual eyes. Which really means we begin to see more and more what has been done and what is being done. The written word of God is our teacher and schoolmaster. Some do graduate, but the heart of the word is now theirs. The bible was never meant to be a rule book or check point, but a starting place or launching pad. As well as other things are besides the bible. It's narrow-minded to think one needs to know the bible to know God. Though I'm certainly not against knowing what it says, I am for learning more of it's meaning as it comes together in the heart by the Spirit. Which without the Spirit it will not yield it's fruit. The Word of God is alive not words written on paper but real and living and now. Though we can and do talk about it for sure. How else could we hear what we need to hear?

Funny Mike's claim to this knowledge is based on a question from and response on this knowledge. Therefore I conclude that Mike has very little knowledge of what he is saying. And rides on the coat tails of others to feed. Using what he has little knowledge of to confuse the issue. When the actual issue would clearly help discover this very knowledge of these scientific terms. Their origins, people involved, the progress made and where it stands in general today. Though Todd used the exact wording he did not claim any knowledge of it. I can put words together also that exist and rearrange them to confuse the issue as well. But I'm not Mike so I won't. The apparent knowledge that is claimed by Mike can be found by separating his double wording. It's really simple and that is what is so fun. Actually there is a discovery show on about these subjects occasionally. But it's no different then studying other things that make the world go around.....

All this about who acts first begins to blend into one. Cause who is God that acted and who are we that interpret these by the Holy Spirit. Basically the emphasis was on us and not on God who is in us. The carnal man with all his reasoning puts one at the door. With a little help. It's the Spirit that walks in and the 'higher thoughts' are revealed. Logic and reasoning will only go so far, then it gets overpowered by the Lord. Else there isn't a Lord. Bringing down the wisdom of the wise and the empty carcass of a god that is not there. Into a 'in the Spirit' experience that no book could hold but the heart can. And not to say that you White Dove or any one else has not had these experiences. Which are in real truth and reality, unchangeable and unlimited. Different aspects of the tree are seen, and mistaken for the whole tree usually. What twi did was put it all in a nice little package that we are supposed to function in. Greatly changing what is thought of the mind of Christ, reducing it to nothing but mind games. With it's own set of rules outlined in pfal. It just don't work, because of it's boundless and unlimited freedom. And not to be a slave to limitations set in pfal, as well as other beliefs that have a stopping point. Which still stops many, and has sent many back into the dark ages instead of enlightenment.

This is what I said. And though it is not the 'all truth'. The teachings were that God would not act unless we did something first. Yes they said that God did whatever so we could do. And how are we to know what to do. Should we now turn to our own minds and decide. Or let, let, let more be shown to us. More that he has already done. Kind of like a chess game, yes, but a little twist to it. He wants you to win. And it was taught that God moved first. So is it then a guessing game or intellectual reasoning to figure out what we are to do? Or can God show himself again and we can do as we interpret. All of this going on within the person with inner and outer layers of sight, sounds, feelings....

Along with sirg's post that followed, I don't know of a better presentation I've ever heard of on the Spirit and spirits. So simple yet some will not hear. It just takes a little to learn a lot...... http://www.google.com/search?q=chakras&...GL_enUS235US235

See now there it is again White Dove "we" believe and act. Act on what? What we believe? What if what we believe is wrong? And this is certainly not personal to you, my comments. What if perhaps god and heaven and hell and all this we were taught was 'off', a bit? Sure we never exactly believed as we were taught, everyone of us had our own take on things. TWI's teachings were and are separatist type teachings. Jesus' death and resurrection is for those who believe only. And who is to say who is a believer or will believe? God moved first, whether or not anyone believes it, what God did is done. What is really real and what is not? In other words, why count on our belief? When whatever is-is and has been and is to come. Our believing will not change God. Just our perspective of who God is.

u got that right potato another one that kills u have to know what's available
-
To ask is demanded by God. Not a demand to him. He even goes beyond what we could ask or think. So so much for having to know what's available. Beyond the thinkable, requires another mind at work. Not ours.
-
Well, I'll pass on a god by 'The Way Int.s book'. It don't work. Thanks anyway.
-
You have to know what is available You have to now how to receive. You have to know what to do after you got it. Believing (yours) = receiving. And then say you have to confess Jesus as Lord to be 'born again'. Being born again is the work of the spirit continually. You operate the spirit, NO, the spirit operates in you. You reach up to 'daddy's cookie jar'. Yeah, right, fantasizing is what it is and was. Mind games. Thoughts imagined, not given. Ask, is what is demanded. No questions, no answers. We were given answers that answered questions that were given to us. And not from the heart of the asker. A god was formed before our minds in twi. Did anything happen or change to prove to ourselves that God is real? Was there any actual contact? I see George's point from the atheist thread. The Way stop cold the freedom to explore the spiritual and relied upon someone telling us how God works. And we bought it. Not trying to be hateful spiteful or deter growth, but to look in other directions. How many really experienced the presence of God and see him as promised by the what Jesus said?
-
The Way taught us to do and then God would do. I do not think this is true at all. How many ways did God show himself to people in the bible? Was it because of something they did or something God did. God, Christ. Spirit, Angel, whatever name you want to give this power that did things. And that is just limiting it to the bible. There's more. The Way and it's teachings greatly separate man from God. And this is how it was handled then and now. Do we still think like this? Are we to believe that this separation is physical? Or even Spiritual as in carnal and spiritual. If we are told to "put on" something, do we have it? And if you don't see that you have it, do you recognize this? Or do we trick our minds into thinking on it's own. Instead of a real mind of Christ? Or whatever you want to call this power we are not in charge of. It's the carnal that is separate from God. Howbeit the carnal and spiritual reside in the same mind of a person? The Way taught that we are to do first. In direct contradiction to every spiritual event I know of. If we are to "put on" then we have to let go of what we think. And let this whatever we are to put on be in charge. We are not in charge of it. Though you can back out anytime. Do we follow the spirit or does the spirit follow us? ----- Food for thought. That's all.....plenty to chew on...or it can chew on us.....

I'm not happy with the way people are being presented. Either the atheists or theists. I don't believe the people here are extremists either way. But the conversations progress into wars and things are said that would not normally be said. I do the same thing, everyone does I believe. The questions were about proof and God killing people in the Old Testament. There could be some very different ideas, thoughts and realizations and more about these questions. But hardly anyone is willing to look. Fear of the unknown I think, though it could be it's just not heard. I don't know. Take almost anything in the bible and turn it upside down and one may be closer to the truth. Or opposite or at least from another point of view then word for word stuff.
-
I think everyone's proof is different. Not grumpy, just annoyed that the same old questions are directed towards those that believe a certain way are used. When the one's asking don't know the answers themselves. Even the answers are different for everyone imo, so I just think it's where a person has progressed to and not what others think that they should know or do. And that's on both 'sides' here, too bad too because there could be some real progress instead of what is happening. All I can control is my own mind and not another's. Nor will I force or try to convince anyone of what I know, cause what I know changes, so will what everyone knows. Anybody who thinks whatever of me, does not affect me anyway. Though I, as anyone, would like to well thought of and not thought of as someone I'm not. I have been constantly accused of things that are not true. There is nothing I can do about it but be myself.

I'm not upset with you, I just do what I need to do. You switched the focus to me and RainbowsGirl. Then back to saying 'am I that bad of a person'. Neither me nor her nor you can help yourself. Being selfless and getting the help you need will come from the Lord. By way of people like us, initially, and usually. -

Seems you need help triunegod, God is Love which includes forgiveness. Are you holding this back for selfishness or just don't know? These people who were hurt should know they have already been forgiven on the cross. Including yourself. But not to be used to do wrong but to be free to follow Christ. -

deleted cuz the post changed -
I don't have a 'side', though you would like that. Too bad to, cause we could have a war. It's the questions about the bible and proof that I'm talking about. Just cause you can't see it, that don't mean it's not there. It's always been there and always will.

Garth and George are so smart. They ask all the right questions you know! Read between those lines. Your questions are substandard and immoral. Cause you don't know the answers. Asking for answers, and if you get them you wouldn't see them anyway. The Way had all the answers remember? Is that what you want or do you really want to know? No, I don't think so. Just some b.s. you keep for special occasions.
