  1. There are elders among us but not over us, as well as gifts among us. In the midst of us are all the gifts, ministries, manifestations and elders. No name tags, in fact they would be refused as knowing the changing of the winds and seasons.
  2. This, from that article, is simply not true. It's saying that if you don't study you won't know the love of Christ. As if God's Word is in the pages of the bible only. The emphasis of these statements is study the bible. Sure you can get a knowledge of what it says. But interpreting that has lead to things that are not love at all. But promoted as love. Just claim your 'study', quote scriptures then abuse everyone. Or worse.
  3. Keeping God out of reach of the common person is the job of religion.
  4. Check this out-you will have to download it. It's a powerpoint file. http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/198326/Power I'm not recruiting or some bs. I don't know what you guys think. Whatever...I'm just wingin it. If you get anything from this, fine. If not, that's fine too. ttyl got this from here- http://www.docstoc.com/docs/448808/Power-Process---surrender
  5. Take the fear of death for instance. If you fear it or anxious about it. Most don't want to think about it till they have to. But anyway, surrendering to death, would be accepting it. Not to bring it on but to not fear it anymore. If we surrender to it, it could teach us about itself. Since death is an enemy to some and so stated in the bible. I thought I would pick it. So we are to love our enemies, so the bible says also. How to do it? Would surrendering come into play or not.
  6. well yeah, sort of except it's your enemies things like attitudes, fears, feelings, etc.... or perceptions even empathy is about someone else this is about your own enemies which is quite personal just thinking, seems not much else happening down here.... i'm not attacking or telling anyone what o do though feedback is cool
  7. No, don't let yourself be harmed. I thought I was clear on that. But to deal with our own enemies in the mind. Even if these are seen in others as well as ourselves. Not surrendering to get run over, but to understand and learn. To quit fighting whatever it is, in order to see more clearly.
  8. I wonder if love your enemies means something different then surrender as in not fighting but understanding.
  9. And I don't mean to give into a person's will, btw. Maybe it's not stated correctly, but it's more of a seeing another perspective that hasn't been considered for one reason or more.
  10. Not in the physical as in other people. But in our minds. That which has been and still is an enemy. That which we don't want to think of or about. The things that really blocking a view. Even a view from outside of yourself. Which is clearer and un biased. Some enemies are love, forgiveness even hatred. Meaning seeing it for what it is. Since I said hatred, surrendering to it would be letting it run it's course. Not taking harmful action to others. But seeing where it leads to in the mind. Finding much about why and what it is there for. We each have our own I suppose. These are just examples. Other people could be considerded enemies. But why? There more to it then the person. In fact the person is rather secondary to the why. Just some thoughts and feedback I have been having myself. So I thought others would see things similar.
  11. I would think you need to know what 'possesed' means as well as 'christian'. By experienceing these things and not some scripture or definition.
  12. is more of a personal attack then way brain it implies that people are just going with the majority rather then thinking for themselves and agreeing together
  13. Being able to recognize way brain in our selves and others helps us to move and get beyond it. Cause if I see it in others, I must have seen it in myself as well. Which takes any kind of personal attack out of the thoughts and posts. I have pointed it out in myself and others as well with no ill intent. But to spot it and see it is a great thing. To see the source of some of our thinking. Whether it's waybrain or something else it's always an adventure for the courageous to explore.Taking it further into the source of that source even.
  14. If we can seek it, it can be found. It's not far from you. Not far at all. With all your heart.... What does this mean? To you really.... Is one willing to put aside what they think and be shown. Is this also seeing? Shown by God not by men. So how could I answer a question like this? All I can do is say what comes to mind, as others do. Whatever is revealed in your heart is yours, not mine. Then watch as things overlap and show themselves. It won't be you doing it, but you being shown. The work is in listening. And speaking......
  15. So many afraid of 'the lake of fire'. It's a necessity. And of God. Those who haven't takin a dip in it yet, will. Those who have will again. You can't run from it much longer. Changes it produces, the door to heights yet to be seen. Fear? Sure there will be, Love gets pretty hot. A consuming fire. Nothing is ever gone forever. Even our bodies will be dust. It is still here just like everything else. A God that never changes changing.
  16. There are no scriptures to support this, Mark. Though anything can be purified.
  17. well said frank, the bluff don't work on me anymore nor do i think we were ever not 'saved' any of us it's just a process to see it
  18. Failure to understand what the word 'destroy' means as well as hell, death, and die. Jesus said of himself that he would be destroyed but raised. All things work together for a mutual purpose. Of which we all are a part of and share in. To loose something does not mean it's gone forever. But will return as promised. To loose one's soul, means annihilation, as in gone forever for some. There is nothing that will annihilate what God has already done. One may 'loose' their soul as in lost. But think of how many places 'found' is used as well.

  20. Yes the word of truth heard and also seen will sprout. Where do we here it from? Grow, strengthen, diversify, and no doubt produce the word of truth. Every seed after it's kind.
  21. If the Word is incorruptible then no matter what happens according to that parable, this would still be true, I would think. We all have our rocky and thorny places as well as the good ground. Such are some of the things to see in ourselves.
  22. By one parable seed is the word of God. That can't be the standard on which to base the bible. Or being born again, etc. The Word will accomplish it's goals. Ever wonder if it' just one person Jesus is speaking of? In response to the original post. One can loose sight of salvation. Why is salvation usually thought of as future?
  23. Since no one wants to answer most of my questions, yet I am questioned and answer most of them. Just what is the Vengeance that belongs to "me", as it says in that verse? What is the repay, and again? If you don't know, why do you say that it would be one thing or another? How about you Spoudazo? You make assumptions about me and what I think and believe. Why are you trying to figure that out? Or 'where I'm coming from'. I'm coming from right here right now. Where else would I be? Jumpiong to conclusions is usually a mistake. Try looking for good instead of evil. It seems that is what you are doing with what I say. Regardless of whether you believe me or not. My intentions are probably not what you think. Nor will you figure it out by my words, or a short glance at them.
  24. You'll get to see for your self what becomes of people like you mentioned. I could try but it wouldn't work. Unless I'm speaking by the Spirit of God and then that same God works in you and shows you the answer. Which may not be what I said but when the spirit moves we can't tell it where to go.
