A & S would be the only 'slain by the spirit' record. With all the lies told, planned and done. Seems it would happen more.

you may want to use Teracopy for copying files. It has pause and resume. And it's fast enough. You can set it as the default copier or not. http://www.codesector.com/teracopy.php

Yeah, good idea, leafy, I didn't think of a usb stick. They are a lot cheaper then buying another hard drive. If you don't have one. If you have more then one computer, you can copy/sync'/backup to it through your network setup, through 'network places'. Online services such as photobucket and flickr and picasa will work for pics. As for the rest of the data needed to be backed up, there are a few options. Of which I only will show the free ones. http://www.adrive.com/ Reliable but not automatic, and it will not detect what files you have already put on adrive, which means if you backup the same folder again because of new files added, you will have duplicates of the files that were already on adrive. It's a bit slow and tedious to use but works and 50gb free is a major advantage to this service. 1000 file upload limit at a time, of course you can upload again and again as long as you have not reached the 50gb limit. http://www.syncplicity.com http://www.getdropbox.com These two are limited to 2gb unless you buy more space. I use them both. Each is unique in it's operation. With any of the three here you can hotlink any file. There is more others could list I suppose. But these are in the control of someone else. So they can cancel their free services as some have. Hordit.com canceled their free offer and changed to all paid services. XDrive cancelled their 5gb free service as well as XDrive itself. So backing up to something you own is better, while online services is just a plus and convenience, depending on your needs.

(well...here's another bone) It was in 321 A.D. that Constantine made the first national Sunday Law enforcing rest from labor. Following this, in 324, was the First Council of Nicea which was one of the most influential meetings in paving the way for the setting up of the papacy. "The Emperor Constantine made the following announcement in his letter to all [bishops, etc.] who were not present at the Council: '...It was declared... We ought not therefore to have anything in common with the Jews ...we desire, dearest brethren, to separate ourselves from the... company of the Jews, ... it is our duty not to have anything in common with the murderers of our Lord,... You should consider not only that the number of churches in these provinces make a majority, but also that it is right to demand what our reason approves, and that we should have nothing in common with the Jews.... accept joyfully the divine favor, and this truly divine command; for all which takes place in the assemblies of the bishops ought to be regarded as proceeding from the will of God...'" History of the Councils, p. 322-4. How widely this varies from Christ's own words, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not." Matt 23:2,3. Or from Paul's attitude in Romans, chapters 9-11, and 2 Corinthians 3:16. One of the main "Jewish" things that was replaced by Greco-Roman-Egyptian-Babylonian/Pagan things was the Hebrew language, which "was cultivated as the most sacred tongue in the world." Fundamentals of Christian Education, p. 97. All of the original Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts of the New Testament were translated into Greek by the time of Constantine when the Latin Bible (the Vulgate) began to become dominant over all other languages in regards to church matters. It appears that any Hebrew or Aramaic letters and manuscripts that may have been written by the Apostles have all been hidden or destroyed. Even the Aramaic and Hebrew versions of the New Testament that we have today are themselves translations from other languages. "What advantage then hath the Jew?... Much every way: chiefly because that unto them were committed the oracles (Greek – logion – utterances) of God." Romans 3:1,2. It was the "utterances (words) of God," that were committed to the Jews, to be preserved in "the most sacred tongue in the world," Hebrew. One of the greatest losses which the church of God has suffered as a result of the separation from the "most sacred tongue in the world," Hebrew, was the loss of the gender represented therein. Though there is what is known as a "common" gender in Hebrew (which is usually expressed in the feminine), there is no absolute "neuter" gender expressed in Hebrew as there is in Greek and other languages. Many people have been led to mock the idea of inanimate objects, and even expressions having gender assigned to them. But ridicule of the things that God has appointed is not inspired of the Holy Spirit who "moved" the "holy men" of old to use gender when writing the things of His Holy Word. This great breach which has caused a great loss to the body of Christ is most readily seen in the change of thinking in regards to the gender of the Holy Spirit. In Hebrew, the word which is translated Spirit is ruah, and is feminine; while the Greek word is pneuma, and is neuter; and the Latin word is spiritus, and is masculine. -------------- Bahá'í Faith In the Bahá'í Faith, the Holy Spirit, also known as the Most Great Spirit, is seen as the bounty of God. It is usually used to describe the descent of the Spirit of God upon the messengers/prophets of God, which are known as Manifestations of God, and include among others Jesus, Muhammad and Bahá'u'lláh. In Bahá'í belief the Holy Spirit is the conduit through which the wisdom of God becomes directly associated with his messenger, and it has been described variously in different religions such as the burning bush to Moses, the sacred fire to Zoroaster, the dove to Jesus, the angel Gabriel to Muhammad, and the Holy Maiden to Bahá'u'lláh. The Bahá'í view rejects the idea that the Holy Spirit is a partner to God in the Godhead, but rather is a pure reflection of God's attributes. Islam Holy Spirit in Islam is an agent of divine action or communication commonly identified with the angel Gabriel (ar: Jibreel) or Ruhul Qudus but also alternatively with the created spirit from God by which he enlivened Adam, made Mary pregnant with Jesus, and inspired the angels and the prophets. The belief in Trinity is explicitly forbidden by the Qur'an and called a grave sin. The same applies to any idea of the duality of God (Allah). Judaism In Judaism, the idea of God as a duality or trinity is heretical (see Deuteronomy 6:4). Nonetheless, the term Ruah Ha-qodesh (Holy Spirit) is found frequently in Talmudic and Midrashic literature. In some cases it signifies prophetic inspiration, while in others it is used as a hypostatization or a metonym for God. The Rabbinic “Holy Spirit,” has a certain degree of personification, but it remains, “a quality belonging to God, one of his attributes” and not, as in Christianity, representative of “any metaphysical divisions in the Godhead.”

Body Soul and Spirit revisited...
cman replied to sirguessalot's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
afraid of the shadows, the dark secrets not even approaching the light hidden, seen in the dark relying on others, not confident in what is already within fear of loneliness or themselves closing the ear and eye looking at that which is seen -
Being afraid of thinking wrong is a poor way to live. Facing thoughts without fear and dealing with them. Persistent ones, you know, searching them out.
-
A matter of personal conditioning. Basically, with purpose and meaning. Not a matter of stress but of practice. Determination is needed. From a source. Which must be inside to be real and honest. Usually 2 steps forward and one back with thoughts. But still progress.

what's so many afraid of anyway? their own thoughts....

'of' is different from 'by' anyway 'for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost' if it included Mary then why not Joseph what Joseph contributed became part of Mary while in the womb of the spirit just looking at 'overshadow' and 'of' should be attention to detail look 'em up Mary thy wife Holy Spirit ain't going to put sperm in Joseph's wife. What would that be doing? -
I meant to say, search the forums of donationcoder. Although donationcoder itself has much software. I don't believe there is any backup software. http://www.donationcoder.com/Forums/bb/index.php Discusses many of the programs at these sites. Each of these have their own search box. Keywords to search would be- backup sync synchronize image partition All these programs on these sites are free, free for personal use, or a free version versus a pro version which would cost a little. http://elitefreeware.blogspot.com/ http://www.freewaregenius.com/ http://www.ghacks.net/ http://www.nirmaltv.com/ also their is this drive imager which i'm sure is mentioned in these links http://www.runtime.org/driveimage-xml.htm

Best way is to have a slave drive. Another hard drive on your computer to backup your important files and dsocs and pics. There are many alternatives, and free too. If you want to check them all out. The best place I know of to see what is out there is donationcoder.com, and in the search box just type in 'sychronize' or 'backup'. You will get a whole lot of options, both free and paid for. You can also backup to online services which are plentiful. You can search for them as well. Personally, I keep everything I need in different folders in My Documents. So all I have to do is backup My Documents and reload my operating system. I use GoodSync Pro- http://www.goodsync.com/index.html which is about $30, it can backup to any drive or network place in your system. A good free one is FolderSync- http://www.saleensoftware.com/FolderSynch.aspx You just have to play with them to which you like and hoe they work. GoodSync can be set on a schedule, which has it's good points. To manually sync is something to remember with the free ones. Obviously I like the sync programs better then backup programs. Just because I'd rather start with a fresh install of the OS and still have my important work. Rather then incremental backups of which you may have no idea of when the problem started and where it's hidden. I use Foxmarks add on for Firefox which is available for IE7 now as well, and I have web based mail, although I back that up to My Documents too. Having online services is a good idea too, but you are not in control of their servers, which can and have lost data. Of course another drive could fail too. So doing both is a good idea. Online services will be in those search results as well as backing up to your own drives. And plenty of well informed users as well.

Body Soul and Spirit revisited...

Yeah, hm, can both do different things and be one i can is creation the same as birth? birthing? Revelation 12 1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. I'd say that's a woman. And not just about Jesus' Christ. A man MUST be born of water and spirit. Are they separate or one act in a period of time to us. In the bigger space there is a time for no time. The feminine holy spirit and the masculine father god, spirit also. Living, breathing.....just like us. Just like one humankind. Who's seed is after itself. As in the beginning it continues.... The pouring out of the father and mother in union, in sensual adornment. -

To think from the spirit... Requires not thinking I think :). To get to the place that self has dissolved. And the greater work is seen takes some Quiet. Cause that work, is there....able....working... Then to communicate with others about it... kind of a challenge. -

New Age, mostly just start seeing what already is. Labeling anyone is a waste of time. I posted info, take it or leave it. The truth is that each person has masculine and feminine qualities. This is just the tip of the iceberg. And any opinion about scholars, reminds me of opinions about others as well.

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Spirit of God, in the original Hebrew, is ruah Elohim. Ruah, the word meaning “Spirit,” is a feminine noun. Elohim is a grammati- cal feminine plural form of God. In both the Hebrew and Aramaic language the word spirit is in the feminine gender but in the Greek language it is neuter. It is the Greek neuter word, pnuema, that was employed by the ancient Septuagint translators of the Hebrew Old Testament when they translated the feminine ruach into Greek. The authors who wrote in Greek were limited in expressing the Holy Spirit in the feminine by the constraints of the language. In addition, signposts directing one to the feminine nature of the Holy Spirit may have been removed or altered. Bart Ehrman, writes in his book, The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture, that from his comparative analysis, the Orthodox Church altered the texts to counter various beliefs considered heresies. Where then do we go for direct textual evidence that the Holy Spirit was, in the origins of Christianity, considered feminine? We go to the existing Greek minuscules copied in the early part of the last millennium to find only circumstantial evidence. Likewise, as we go to the earlier copied Greek uncials, the Byzantine copies, the eastern Syriac Pedangta, and the Old Latin we find some peripheral corroboration. Then when we go to the earlier copied Old Syriac that predates the Pedangta we find a pearl of great price. In the most ancient of the rare Old Syriac copies, the Siniatic Palimpsest, from the 4th or 5th century, found in the Covenant of St. Catherine in the Sinia by Mrs. Anes Lewis and transcribed by Syriac Professor R.L. Bensly of Cambridge University in 1892, the words of Jesus in John 14:26 read: But She -the Spirit - the Paraclete whom He-will-send to you- my Father - in my name - She will teach you every-thing; She will remind you of that which I have told you. And God said, Let us make man in our own image after our likeness…. Gen1:26 The Hebrew word for God in this verse is elohiym. It is in the plural so the pronouns us, and our are properly supplied. Any thing more than one is plural. In the next verse the Hebrew word for God is also elohiym. In this next verse, the pronoun translated as his is also plural and should be translated their. The image of their own, in which elohiym created man, was male and female. These Gods or elohiym were and are two; male and female- the Father and the Holy Spirit. They made mankind in the likeness of themselves. When one becomes persuaded of the union of the feminine and masculine, Paul’s revelation opens dramatically as the consummate epic work of the eternal union that brings together sons and daughters as the one new man in Christ of Ephesians. Not trying to run you off Geisha. Whatever the praying thing was about don't really matter. Posts here are not held against you by the many I know. This is why there needs to be conversation and not hurling posts. Like I don't like quoting another, though I did with your post because of it's length. I do think conversations can flow easier without quoting each other. It makes it seem like we are stuck in what we said, which we are not, rather then able to be flexible, perhaps change the mind or not, that don't matter either. And that's all I had to say about what you said. Right or wrong don't matter. Considering does, to see from another pov. That takes some sacrifice. And I suppose sometimes the whole post needs to be quoted to insert comments because of it's length or depth. But I still don't believe they should be held against us. But speaking from the heart is courage, to lay one's life out to another. And be able to handle whatever comes. So anyways....stick around, listen for what you need to hear. That happens when speaking from the heart, Listening and speaking, these will stir things others won't see. It's no accident to be here or where ever.
