as if John is speaking of a one time event..... or is it something continuing from the beginning -

I think that phrase says more then, and very different then, Jesus is or isn't God. Taking it and not even addressing that issue. Pointing more toward the 'glory'. The 'only' begotten, there's never been more then one. Started long before the gospels records. -

probably kill another thread but what the hell... it should be apparent that John speaks of things not seen how would the word or god become flesh? if they are the same or not, don't matter the general point, yeah in general not specific like hand/glove stuff what is being communicated here in John 1? it's not- who's who - but an activation of Christ -
the fire is near i like that Roy

Funny, not much said about the tongues of the spirit in our own language. A miracle as Sunesis pointed out. Edifying, divine secrets, wonderful works of God. That would surely be there......fruit too you'd think.... But pointing it out and dissecting it is a waste of effort. Like trying to catch the wind that blows where it wills.
-
Good point, and it still occurs today as well. Not only was it in their language, those that heard, some of them understood it as Words that magnify (make bigger) God. Others missed it totally.... I believe tongues and interpretation are in one's own language, interacting spirit....along with all that the spirit manifests is present, if it's manifestation of spirit why would any aspect of it be left out.

to be one as Jesus said about himself and the rest of us i don't doubt that one is not singular -
You can right click the image and click 'save as'. Then save it to, like your desktop-easy to find,or where ever your downloads are. If the mouse is not on the image right clicking will not have 'save as'.

Hi and welcome to Greasespot! A question always brings up more questions.... Do I believe Jesus is God? No more then I believe myself to be God. What difference does it make anyway. A bunch of words supposing to mean something. One's direct experience with God should not be interpreted lightly. Or jump the gun, so to speak, and form a set judgment. -

Yes, waysider, that's what I'm talking about. Instead of looking at it from the outside, it can be done from the inside without being homosexual. The ability to do it is in us, not only with that but any thing we choose to take on.
-
I didn't say you had to be one to see what it is from the inside. It's made a doctrinal issue for various reasons I suppose. But it isn't, a clear approach would be more open don't you think?
-
is that all you read geisha, the first line of my post what makes me think? i included no one and excluded no one what makes you think can you think as a homosexual person can you live it in your mind it's then that one can see to speak
-
This is not much better then a witch hunt. The lack of understanding of the way we are made leads to misunderstanding. Why not talk to a 'homosexual' person, you might be surprised. Feminine and masculine is part of every person. Bringing them out in the open is scary to some.
-
Pagan or not I think you have the right idea here. And not the sex but the men with men not knowing who they are. WORKING that which is unseemly. It's not natural. No feminine qualities at all. War is men with men, masculine and masculine. Power, control, domination which is to be there. But without the feminine nature we all have.

Whgat about WIndows 7 anyone heard anything
cman replied to leafytwiglet's topic in Computer Questions
leafy, I saw in your profile that you are a student if your school is in this site, get windows 7 pro for $50 I'm running it and it's worth it and beats vista big time. It's an upgrade, so you have to have xp or Vista already on your computer. But you can custom install to have windows 7 without the vista progams, if you want to. It will save your old operating system as windows.old, which you can delete later. 7 is faster then Vista or XP, smarter too. Worth the trouble. http://www.journeyed.com/select?sSRCCODE=SD122109 -

Make sure "show pictures" is checked in internet options. 'Internet Options' is in the Control Panel. If that don't work, contact your ISP.

If Leviticus and Romans are about the act of sex between two men then women should shutup in the church. Along with a bunch of literal crap stuck in our face.
