Even after breaking the bounds of the way's doctrine and practice, I still get interrupted by 'way type' dreams. Spent a good portion of my life in the way's thought patterns, so it really doesn't surprise me....much. Any kind of anxiety can bring on dreams that seem to be nightmares, I believe. Nightmares seem like they are really happening, I think. Sometimes I know I'm dreaming when I'm dreaming, which is kind of interesting. It's not always 'the way' involved either. My 2 cents.

Not to leave scholarly finds out of the picture. I mean those to me are for side notes as a possible help. Knowing what scriptures say certainly doesn't hurt. More along the focus of the line of sight. Like looking at a house. A carpenter might think of the blue prints. While another may just enjoy the structure. Either person could see both and the relationship, which could add to it's enrichment. Speaking of scriptures though... I think the meaning of one word would not be the entire house. But add to it's very nature, overall, and a piece of the riddle we find in ourselves. Cause if you can't see the feminine, you can't see the masculine either, or the other way around, but the masculine remains dominate. Resulting in the masculine blind-siding us, in our expressed image of God.

I don't know.... literal, figurative both sound distant so while I don't want to sound like I know more then anyone I can see beyond these limits as you stated Tom "the literal truth cannot express" it is expressed though if we can just turn enough to look no man can see God and live what does that mean....
-
This is what you are not getting Tom. It's not figurative. Neither is the relationship. The literal truth cannot be bound by figures. But seen in it's infinite completeness, being discovered over and over again, more and more relationships, in absolute newness of never ending, unlimited life.

Yes, Abigail, funny we all have to be characteristics of both the masculine and feminine. Gives an interesting light to some scriptures. http://www.biblestudytools.com/search/?q=Ruach+HaKodesh&c=&t=all&ps=10&s=Bibles

I certainly do not see it as an instruction book. But I don't puke garbage all over those who might either. u dunno

Thanks for your post, Celtic, informative I suppose.... But most of us have seen this before, not only the way international but others as well. Individuals or groups of individuals have tried to ride the wave of money and power that twi pushed. There have been and continue to be exceptions that post and be to the greater good....

The tip of a very large iceberg, I think, Steve. There was a lot going on then as well, leading up to that date. And not that those things are not still happening. A big deal back then, and leading up to the Crusades of the 11th through 13th centuries.

Did Early Christians Turn Away from Paul?

Why do you attempt to insult in ignorance of your own words? -

The Nazarite Vow can come into play with 1 Corinthians 11. It is talking about following, and following who. The hair is figurative for a following among other meanings. When doing the Nazarite vow, for one example, it is about a following. It is a shame to be seen with a following for the man. But not for the woman, which is wisdom all over the scriptures. It's that wisdom that can be followed and found. It's not about a man, Paul or anyone else. It's in the dark sayings that light can be seen about Christ. -

it's pretty obvious it's not about hair literally-you think? -

1 Corinthians 11 1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 7For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 8For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. 9Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 11Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 12For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. 13Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 16But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. -

So what? I don't think Paul's intent was to have anyone turn towards him. Only to hear him out, I would suppose, and not some sort of following as indicated. Furthering my questioning of the reliability of the books of Timothy, or certainly their translations. -

The problem with labels is a problem with labels. Arguing about that is pointless really. -

One can be Hindu or Muslim or Jewish or Christian or 'none' and understand Christ. Doctrinal content relates to everything and can be a wall to gaining Christ. Or a catalyst to see Christ beyond what is written about Christ. Taking doctrine out of the way can help to see scripture. Scripture speaks about certain things. When those things are seen heard and experienced, the language of scripture changes and it's meanings have their limits removed. -

not everyone is a christian doctrinal is not always-and hardly ever about the bible when scripture is seen in action then the scriptures, read or not, are seen and understood well beyond the scope of writings to be analyzed -

I can still hear our Hebrew and Aramaic Fathers and Mothers in English. SHOUTING to me to listen in the silence of my mind. With an ever so soft whisper of the spirits of the spirit. A language, a tongue that has not been lost after all these years. Though the time is a moment, a twinkle, a flash. Filled with so much I can't hardly take it all in. I hear it from every person's soul, a song, a dream. So close, so in it, I know it's real, as real as it was in Hebrew and Aramaic. It is in my minds eye and ear, an opening into the new mind of Christ in the many tongues, we share......

lol...it's like trying to teach someone how to do a job that you have never done yourself words without the power of them working within....... which is required because each needs taught differently by the same God

A lie in a deposition is not enough to take a case to court. They saw that you don't have any money or it would cost more then they could collect from you. Or most likely they would expose themselves as like you, a fraud.

Leviticus 27 30And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD. 31And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. 2 Corinthians 8:13-15 13For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: 14But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: 15As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

Abigail disagrees with you and pointing out some of what you are missing and just plain wrong tactics. I don't know who 'we' is, unless you think it's you. Your beliefs are the way you want to see them, and the tithe has always been voluntary, as well as no set percent anywhere forever. Nor do you see that any tithe is to help those who can't.
