I'll clarify, and rephrase. Just because someone keeps John 1 as scripture does not mean they believe in the Trinity. You are saying that if John 1 is scripture to them, then they believe it's about the Trinity. This is not true, any who see it different then you, have as much say as you for themselves.
-
If you think that John 1:1 thru whatever promotes "the Trinity". Then that is your privilege. Many do not think that way here. It does not mean that others do the same with those scriptures. And if one chooses a Trinity belief. You have no say in the matter. No one has the right to dictate another person's belief. Introduce your own as best you can if you want. Anyone can learn from any writings but not be tied to it.

Well....hm.... Forgiving ourselves is the main thing. To move on without guilt or fear. If what has already been done can be seen.

And still they looked for Christ. John points out what to look for.

20 years is not much, but it is something would twice that make a difference from another source or 1000 times as much? there is not anything that can't contribute some clearing the approach can be changed to see more as well as seeing others and their handling of the matter including Roy if something is rubbing you wrong you can ignore it or search it out to see more perfectly, your own qualities and shifts in perspective

Guidance is acquired in many ways I think. But it comes out the same, a determined action to take. The factors involved are the source. From any source inside and out. Both. How one sees the outward appearance is judged from the inside. And changeable..... If it happened as it says in Acts. There were prophecies of trouble if he went to J town. And according to pfal/vpw, God told Paul not to go. That's a stretch, or outright fabrication of intent. "the will of the Lord be done" Is a genuine prayer, a fervent belief that it will happen. A godly saying of peace and Godspeed. That the will of the Lord will be done regardless if Paul goes or not. Not some direct order but a way of life that is known. Like if someone was telling me the will of the Lord for me. Well, they could just keep it to themselves till they see I see it myself. And that would come from the Lord. Paul and the others knew what would happen. So what. So did many godly men and women as they did what they had to do. Hebrews 11? We are followers of virtue and love and the spirit. Whoever we cross paths with, no matter the situation.

How long has man been on earth?
cman replied to What About It's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
the bible could present timelines if looked at from a personal inward, and experience pov to rate it as history from a purely outward sense would miss great value that is needed, though not in any certain order if you jump in at five where is 123467 still hangin around i reckon/reason if seen would 5 be different? if the first is last, the last first and the beginning the end, the end the beginning where is the middle or as it says the 'midst' still the trees and Gods are there as in the beginning/end.... first and last i think of trees as deep rooted if one had to be pulled roots and all-destroyed others would fill the fresh soil/gap.. -
don't have to mix anything with it

baking soda will kill them when they eat it, it expands and blows then up, lol, the yeast i guess

Since they, or some of us, had the "World" perceived as only part. Then is it worth looking into the perception of what "The Word" is, and even "over" becomes questionable.
-
I like your post Gen-2. About the invisible part that actually functions. And the rest of your post as well.

I remember it being said that the next one to take the class and s.i.t. twi style could be the last one to trigger Jesus Christ coming back (as if he left). Bull! With a Capital S.

i have no problem with 'accurate' anything i have no problem with 'truth' neither am i concerned with their use building understanding of the bigger picture would be apparent even Pilate was wise enough to ask 'what is truth?' to his credit

No I don't think paganism so much. I tend to think the water of the Word actually. And I don't see spirit of accurate knowledge. Keeping in mind there is one Spirit. Not being accurate is not so bad, and not as required as once thought. As you said, I believe, it's a growing process. I don't believe we lead it, but follow. Sometimes what seems to be accurate is not at a newer time or progressive state. Although it was then, when we thought it. And I think it's not ourselves as the catalyst. Though we are needed. But we can be in a frame of understanding where knowledge, wisdom, virtues, etc. are coming from. Awareness is another way of progressing. Like enlightenment. Not only is our progress changing, but also our awareness, or becoming more aware.

According to some info the flood was water, as in H2o. Was it? Is external and internal knowledge or info reliable? There are other ways of knowing. Not knowledge or information, enlightenment is one word for the ways. The Holy Spirit is depending on what, accurate knowledge? I don't think so. Pitch that accurate knowledge. And leave it behind and let the Holy Spirit work it's own work in and out. It does a lot better if we get out of it's way. Proverbs 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; All the work of men will not achieve this.

Hey!!! Thanks for the move up for 'Doctrinal'. Not that it's a BIG DEAL, but certainly nice of you all. Can't say we are in the basement anymore though :) I still think it's needed to discuss certain issues. Those threads have helped and healed me in ways I couldn't begin to explain. From the beginning of Greasespot really.... Maybe some ignore it, which is cool, and some laugh I suppose.... Not me, I see it's importance to many. That's my opinion anyway. I'm like pretty much done with "The Way" threads. Unless I can see where to contribute.

Our Gathering and Our Resurrection
cman replied to JeffSjo's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
why not find out for ourselves now? can the 'dead in Christ' meet those that 'sleep in Jesus' in the air 'with them' now? 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Which is better? dead in Christ sleep in Jesus we which are alive and remain brethren? Seems 'in the air' is where it's happening. Figure that one out, perhaps we could be comforted. The dead and sleepy ones with the brethren. Did anyone get missed? Don't think so.
