The 12 Suggested Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous We admitted we were powerless over alcohol--that our lives had become unmanageable. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

  4. I also believe 'it' operates in us. We do not operate it. For it is God that worketh in you..... NOT the other way around.
  5. 9 what? and what happened to thinking one thought at a time? o i guess u mean manifestation(s) so you can sit interpret prophesy word of wisdom word of knowledge discern spirit(s) faith miracles gifts of healing all the time...hmmm agree with the list but not the implementation as per twi doubt seriously if very many experienced the intensity it takes to see them happen intensity or single mindedness or actually being to the point that these function and being that there would be a situation calling for 'it' and you might notice that you left out other great gifts as well by the way...welcome to GreaseSpotCafe

  7. Wondering what people use their computer for. Personally I have a few forums I frequent. Of course Greasespot too. But what is it really doing for us? My sons play games on line and get more out of them then me. Personally I play chess on line at gameknot.com. So kind of an inquire of ideas. By the way, got tired of dancing, now I'm cman, simple to the point. That which is least. Love clay.
