  1. looking past the wars and seeing the peace is no small challenge for most to enter into worlds with the sword sheathed and a hand up intent on a more perfect understanding few can bear the pressure that is demanded of humility and giving instead of taking certainly easy in one's own backyard, but the front seems to kick against the sidewalk
  2. sorry, year, but i don't think there will be any born dead though i do enjoy your insights on quite a few things
  3. either or sucks the truth what is truth for in him we live and move and have our being why is it so many must be so analytical trust in man's words rather then the spirit sheep ready for the slaughter not that that is so bad but to have a awakening to reality............ in part
  4. being made whole has a lot going on to it passing from death to life would require dieing
  5. whayever that movement is i ain't part of it nor heard of it
  6. Most modern Christian western beliefs will tell of this as a rain. It takes a spiritual look to see spiritual things. They cannot be diagnosed on a table with books and your own will. The Lord himself will open the eyes of the blind and ears of the deaf. It is not in man to but in the spirit that you will know. And what woulkd be between these 'rains'? Certainly one dare not try and figure it out? or should we? Sure we can look up definitions and texts and history. What does it mean NOW, would be most satisfying. For who can cause it to rain on the just and the unjust.
  7. I Don't think there is an unbeliever. There are unbelievers and fools. But we are not to call anyone a fool. I think this would also apply to unbeliever. Corrupt trees for sure. And the fruit that may seem sweet could be bitter. But I've found that the what may appear bitter, is actually sweet. Certainly only One knows the heart. And if I can stay in step with Christ enough, He can bless and bring to pass his will within, in due time....
  8. I think you may be underestimating Christ, Jerry. What you think that someone is rejecting, could be just your view of Christ. http://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/index.php?showtopic=13015
  9. Mark, You may want to note that there may be no person hood of holy spirit without a person involved. places where 'holy spirit' is used- KJV: Ps 51:11 11Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. KJV: Is 63:10 10But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. KJV: Is 63:11 11Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him? KJV: Lk 11:13 13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? KJV: Eph 1:13 13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, KJV: Eph 4:30 30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. KJV: 1 Th 4:8 8He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
  10. since all suffer in way or another including Jesus btw wouldn't it be a great lack in us to not experiece this? speaking of your universal suffering sirg if everything was 'poof' no suffering what would be our shape and form? part of a bigger scope of life i think and perhaps even an art
  11. It's interesting to note the many attempts throughout history of man trying to produce the Messiah. And the thoughts of those, or rather perhaps the thoughts of those who are involved. From Cain slaying Abel to many being thought to be the promised seed that was to redeem. It took the spirit interceding - of course - to bring about a man- Jesus from the seed of Joseph and the egg of Mary - while 'under 'the shadow of the holy spirit' to bring such a man into play. I do think Joseph and Mary had sex to bring about Jesus. Cause God didn't create nothing at that time imo. So you may say i believe they are separate-I don't. The Word Became flesh. When? When he was born or was it in the process of time. Aided by descending of the Spirit as a dove upon this Jesus. Becoming one with 'it'. Backing up a bit ... Let 'us' make man in our image. The us could have very well been two becoming one. Timing has nothing of interest for me. But that it happened does. Cause so many tryed to make it happen and tryed to stop it from happening. Mary's and others prophecy's are of extreme significance imo. So using the word trinity is a waste of my time to consider. Although it's usage is widespread, therefore is dealt with. I do believe in One. Though this one has so many aspects, man couldn't put it together if he tryed. Our understanding of one is finite compared to what I think the One is.
  12. have you researched the history of the bible jj? not being antagonistic just that there is more then the kjv that speaks of three's including these there is more then one way to see many will see have and will again are we not to be taught by the comforter books are just springboards into what is truth now
  13. looks like more then one set of three here which are kind of two blowing things up and rebuilding is exciting two threes and where do i fit in.......... hmmmmm
  14. 24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. and when is this 'end'? i reckon you refered to these verses pond what is the 'all enemies'? is death defeated or not? did Jesus die without purpose? why is it that some wait for a 'second coming' when it already happened? who is this God that may be all in all? huh? where does it say this God is? is this the God that said - 'thou shalt surely die' and if dead then what is death did Jesus Christ redeem everyone or just a few? is God a respector of persons? the conditions have been filled
  15. you don't understand the suffering of Jesus? you wrote a little about it and the topic is 'does god cause suffering' 19For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps
  16. back to topic though i never left as his work shall be- interesting phrase here huh
  17. add a word change a word ain't no word left Jesus Christ is King-Period just look at it as a paragraph the Lord won
  18. might want to notice God calls the Lord my king
  19. yeah, yeah, pond we all know what pfal says tell me pond how do you see these verses????? 1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. especially the last one in bold
  20. Cool Belle, This where giving and receiving come into play i believe. I mean if one is always taking do they ever really have anything? Giving is where true receiving happens. And I don't mean money but our heart of giving to help. Money being given is needed by some but it's so much more and bigger imo. So fruit given has seed in it and what it yields we may not see directly. But someone will.
  21. i think mammon is one's self where as fruit is there for all the works of the flesh serve one's own self
  22. ithink it's always harvest time Jerry the fruit of the spirit is always around, just have to recognize it not that you bon't just sayin' those opposotes i think are works of the flesh
  23. hmmm... fruit is to be picked and eaten
  24. it's the content that's relevant where he got it don't matter, vp that is and the deception that it is inherently blatant as for Moses-what happened to 'moved by the holy spirit' 'not by the will of man' vp didn't write the book or have you forgotten to assume that Moses collected different material from other people to write Genesis is illogical though other people helped him grow spiritually
  25. ha! yeah, i suspect a judge would toss the whole lot of them out of the court room. They all defamed their own character by their own actions. Those guys are just hacked off cause we all know about their character by what they have done and not done.
