  1. Sounds like the guy is afraid of a lot of thoughts. Every little shadow that don't fit his own theology and it's all those bad things he says they are.
  2. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I don't think you can have one without the other. As long as the thief steals, kills, and destroys that which makes room for life and life more abundantly. The truth is, there is a thief. Jesus said there is. So lets track this thief and see what he's doing. And then see what Christ is doing. Or the other way around. See what Christ is doing. And I bet we will see what the thief is doing.
  3. Sometimes if what is desired is unselfish and for the right reasons, in one's perception, there would be no obstacle too big to stop an attaining of certain desires and wills. And the cares and concerns stated in Oaks post become no more a consideration but are tossed aside in light of a greater desire then self-preservation.
  4. Don't know how you got any idea that vpw ever even got close to Moses in anything. Nor did Moses do the crap that vpw did to his people that were in his care. Consider thinking of the mathematical and scientific way he seduced everyone in pfal.
  5. I think it's a lot to do with what could have been good and even better. Mainly the I'm saved you are not attitude and belief is a downful. Ignorance of what the truth is and attempting to establish one's own righteousness. It's this mentality that kills life and potential for life. Though it is a step in the progress of knowing. We stayed in it too long. Thinking there would be some great movement by God as in Acts. It never happened. Fellowship, however can happen in a multitude of situations. Without fear of being a 'have not' while others seem to 'have'.
  6. What is seen in the physical is a reflection of that which is within. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XZ-Yd6puDA...ted&search=
  7. Thanks Dot, I can understand how hard it is to let go of things like that. I've had my share of stuff too, as many here and everywhere have. The lack of understanding of another person's reasons should not stop us. I know it's hard. But we are only in control of our own selves and can't see others clearly at times. The only way I know of to see more clearly is to resolve our own issues and then move on. Letting things unfold before us. Letting rather then forcing our wills upon another or even our selves. It seems that to is how it has worked for me. And that is all I can truly speak of. Seeing and experiencing forgiveness in Christ first hand takes the battle out of my hands. And puts it in His, where it belongs. So I can finally think clearly. I cannot do what Christ can do. I have to accept that or continue being beaten by myself. Concern and care from others help. As I am with those who have been so abused. Peace.

  9. When there is nothing left to fight. Then the flight takes on new wings. To try and take on that which does not belong in your hands. It appears to grow to a multitude of nothing that looks like something. To find release from our selves. Is to see through the eyes of God.
  10. what has been Incorporated into a 'ministry' has been done by many without charge as the spirit moves to take what Christ can do and turn it to men doing what the spirit is to do is an atrocity to force an act of the spirit against ones will is wrong best know what you are getting into both speaker and hearer
  11. kind of makes one wonder since it's 'unforgiveable' is it really a problem?
  12. Forgiveness....... It is the vengeance of our God...His Wrath...the Fire that burns within It will take no prisoners and free the enslaved from themselves it Will work it's work in due time for all from the chief forgiver Christ Himself that is within

  17. a discussion takes more then one person Mark you are a smart guy stick to the point of the thread don't get side tracked excathedra, you are smart too what's the relevence here? start a doctrinal, open or soap thread on Catholics illegal sex crimes start your 'discussion' where ever you want i just get tired of things getting side tracked that's all the good comments get missed the thread becomes ignored end of anything that might of been good posted this next thing after i saw your post exc it just added it on... sorry exc, i didn't know it started in open....
  18. or the open forum excathedra i don't care where it's discussed it's dis custing for sure doctrinal section???? i don't think so here i'll end it as far as doctrinal sexual crime is a crime against God also PERIOD someone want to argue about it knock yourselves out i'm done doctrinally with it
  19. I know, Mark. But why go on about this sick sexual crime stuff? You don't need to defend anything unless you are defensive about it. Then yes, soap opera time, for sure. All these stats are argumental and you know it. The true stats will never be public knowledge. You started the thread with good intentions I believe. Instruction on the instuctions of the Catholic Church. I do believe there are many good people in EVERY religion. Unfortunately there are also bad ones......
