Something named God created heaven, earth ,angels, man. Everthing was 'good' to God I suppose. Then along comes this serpent or devil or angel that fell with a third of the group. So they say. Talks Eve into eating of a tree. Adam eats too, knowing damn well what God said. They die that day. People piddle around waiting for this God to come up with a 'redeemer'. A better plan of 'saving' mankind. And so he shows up, does some cool things and is killed a horrible death. Thus saving mankind, or as some say only the ones that 'believe'. ------- Now do we go by what's on the surface here as to what happened or is happening? Or is there other ways of viewing this, from many angles and perspectives. Are there other ways of viewing this that is recorded in many texts. Putting timelines aside is one way of giving it a start towards a different look. Changing the roles that the participants played is another. ----- So I'm supposed to tell someone if they don't 'believe' their life will be fried forever or eliminated after a good cooking? Believe what? That God raised Jesus from the dead? Hell he set it up for him to die!Believe without seeing? There's more then one way to see. ----- There has to be better understanding of all this that is occuring for us and what happened to Jesus. ----- I didn't ask for eternal life, but I believe it exists. I will not try to explain it in a word for word dictate. But will continue to explore the many ways of approaching this subject of life. ------ If it's true that some will not have everlasting life then I want to be one of them, cause this sucks. But it's not true and there is hope and faith and love and the Light is in the darkness within. It cannot be put out, that flaming sword is still there, in the garden, the earth, and the heavens. ------ Is it possible to consider other ways of seeing this? ------ Who will be the one to show the Truth? No man, no man can see God and live. So what has to happen? Will we die then we see this God? Can we die first in another sense to see? What must die? We are already supposed to have life. Why can it not be realized? ....... Another way of looking at this..... Thinking opens the doors for new knowledge. Hi Roy, I do believe many were spiritually alive at the time of Job. As there are today, and you made some interesting suggestions. Proverbs 1 1The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; 2To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. These dark sayings are also part of darkness. To understand and hear the interpretation of them.

Rudeness is a defensive reaction I think. It can also be misunderstood as blunt or to the point. From what I've seen and heard, there is much more time to consider the words then suspected. One need not back away from a person who is seemingly rude. It's not a sign of weakness to let anyone say what they want and another not respond, knowing or having a different, and sometimes very different pov. Rudeness would be personal insults and the like, which would not ever be allowed at talkshoe imo. It's different then the forums. I have stated my opinion on some beliefs and that opinion has changed over the years. Yet the words are recorded in these pages. Whether or not anyone thinks I'm the same or changed is of little matter. THAT they can think I can change or stay the same is more important. No one wants their words to be used against them in any way. That's not a discussion but an attack simulation. Personally I would wish that more would consider each others words and thoughts without battles over semantics. But rather to get to the heart of the matter and move on. Not many want to be naked and unashamed, and it's not a requirement on these forums or talkshoe, but it does make things flow better and respect is built again, where it has been torn down so badly from others and our own selves.

a suggestion if you are going to use Wubi- if you have an old hard drive, 10 or 20 gigs, add it to your system and set as slave make a folder on the slave-wubi install wubi on the slave in that folder choose settings and choose the slave drive for your ubuntu and there are others to choose from- xunbuntu kubuntu xubuntustudio it's easy to uninstall just from add-remove programs and delete the grub file -------------- if you download the iso image file of any linux it will fill up a cdrw or cdr usually after downloading a iso file from your burning software-i use nero choose burn image to disk scroll through types of files to 'iso' choose the file and the disk drive and burn you should now have a live cd and also an install option if you choose the right download

i reckon the tough thing is to change perceptions to change from 'thus saith the Lord' to 'what is he or it saying now' what is being felt experienced known only to know again what is being communicated not in definitions but concepts -concepts-a limited word itself a much broader perspective then anticipated when in it there will be no so called contradictions but failure to see other concepts locking into one when so many others abound and flow together

Yeah, xp took about 3 years to get the major problems fixed. Works pretty good now and there is a lot of freeware around for it. Linux is coming along nicely with it's different distros. Though it's abilities are limited to those who really want to learn a whole new online life, forget about everything you have learned about xp, and you can get to know linux. I tryed it and it works fine though not mainstream, get the job done quick for the beginner. You need a little know how, which is readily available. Mac, I have no clue about...lol...need to though, it's a must for computing science and streamlining. So now we have what 6 new vistas, o joy, i'll wait for the first service pack for sure before getting on that boat. xp home and pro do what i want them to do. for others this isn't the case good luck and i do hope ms gets a clue to who really is supporting them ms has already been caught tracking word documents, i wonder what's built into vista to track anything boils down to the integrity of the people ruinning and in the company cuz all it takes is one dishonest person to screw a lot people. i hope the laws are enforced and expanded to include more prison time rather then fines
