In my previous post, I expounded on the new or regular people in the way. Now I will be talking about those wacky leaders. I will skip the a-holes that wanted me to clean their home, tend to their lawn,garden,rake the leaves or fix their cars. Let’s talk about the leaders that could only lead in the way. I moved to a new area for a job and went to this little fellowship for about 3 weeks and the ladies in the fellowship came to me being the only other male in fellowship besides the leader. The said we need help talking to Bob (fake name). I said is it because he has been fired from three jobs in three weeks or that he drinks a six-pack every night? They expounded that he never can keep a job and has had not had one longer then 2 months. They went further and said he does drink every night but if it’s less then 10 beers he won’t call and want to talk at midnight. They wanted to talk about his extreme body order. I knew he smelled but I just thought that a man in his 40’s who drank that much and could not keep a job, the bo was a little less important. The limb cord who had a big box of porn I found when I was moving him. The limb cord’s wife who liked to have young male believers come over for lawn work and take off their shirts. The branch leader who always had young women come over and give him backrubs when his wife was out of town. The fellowship leader who always talked about sex , even during a teaching.. The list goes on and on… copenhagen

Oh, the weird people at fellowship let me count them. One lady would bark like a dog when people were singing. Not loud, just soft barks. Another gal had no medical problems but would shake all the time when people would talk to her. I guess she knew if she stayed around for a while, she would be yelled at and was getting ready. We called her Shaky. The guys were even more colorful. One young man felt it was his job to inspect the branch leader’s underwear drawer. He later was busted being a peeping Tom by the police. Funny part was when he was arrested it was during a class. The same branch leader bailed him out.. This other guy was convinced he could talk to his dead mother and she was watching him. He kept a picture of her in his bible and talked to her. The great leadership we had then made the call to not tell him the dead were dead. He was signed up for the Way of abundance and Power class and we all know how tactful lcm was in that class. Needless to say during the dead are not alive session he jumped up flipped a table over screamed many dirty words about lcm and the way and left. This old man would pick up cigarette butts off the ground or out of the ashtray outside and put him in his pocket. He smelled awful, we called him Smokey. This gal came with her three kids and she was a bit wacky, but her 7-year-old son would pee in the corner after every fellowship. Then he would pull the cats tail and try and take it home, they let him take the cat. He would hide it in his coat and this poor cat was screeching to get away. She brought her babies daddy one time and he was drunk and threw up in the middle of a teaching. I honestly believe in the depths of my heart, the best and most wonderful people I ever met were in the way. The worst people I ever came across were in the way. The people that had problems were attracted to the way. That in a nutshell is the way. copenhagen

Thanks Shellon It is a fine line to walk. One I am willing to do for my wife. Tzaia, To answer your question, she would not like it and not leave me. That being said if you believe that their is a kinder gentler way international, I have a nice used car for you and some swamp land in Fla. I have seen lots of people in my situation over the years break up. The way wants you to follow and if one leaves its a new type of love bombing. New and special projets for the inne spouse to do and keep them busy,and secluded. They are taken under the wing of corp nazi's and given lots of one on one time. Great truths are shared for corp meetings. The other innies want to spend lots of time with this person and little hints, comments or statements are made over time about the non standing spouse. Add this to both of us having family in, I lose all support and left to wonder whats going on while wife gets love bombed.. I have seen this and the area I am in the corp nazi leader does not like cop outs. He really does note like having in his state one standing and one out. He has said in more then one meeting the only reason for divorce is if a spouse leaves the way... copenhagen

Great point Shellon. I guess I should of been more clear in my post. I am in the Way but want out but am afraid of losing a spouse and family. Just like what you were going thru. I posted from the point of view of my personal life of my wife and family who have seen and lived thru the b.s. but still stay. Yes there are people like you 16 yrs ago and me now. I am looking at the mind set of people like my wife who assume twi is God and to disobey the way is like spitting in God's face.. copenhagen

Today is far different time of information available from times past. There are only answers not questions, one click of a mouse or a quick search, your answer. I have come to the answer, of why they stay= Value judgment. By definition is a judgment of the rightness or wrongness of something. This judgment is based upon a particular set of values or on a particular value system. Most Way people know the evils of LCM and the abuse they themselves suffered from his false doctrines. Lives were ruined and good people kicked out. Yet all is forgotten if the leader is nice to them. Going back to value judgment, right or wrong is determined by value or a particular value system. I believe right and wrong are blurred because way believers put the way ministry as their value system, as if it is God will and commandment. The ministry has replaced God. So no matter what happens and no matter how bad it gets their value system (twi) is God approved. I know staff-which has been there for years and people getting their 20-30 yr certificates, have seen and experienced the crap 10 yrs ago or 1 month ago will not leave. I can only assume this .. Like wise some of the posters here who still defend TWI even though they have been kick out.. They feel if they do not defend twi they are not defending God. Onions… copenhagen

There is a lot of good stuff here, info here about a new class I have not heard of yet???? Before your to quick to judge everyone, walk in their shoes for awhile. Times sure have changed with the Way and its arrogance of people and numbers. I was talking with a friend of mine at fellowship last week and he was telling a story of a time in his life he had no place to go and was lost. His leadership was moving and there we really no believers left in that town. He just lost his job and his apt lease was up. He was ready for a change but had no clue what to do or where to go. This was about 1993, the days when a STS listed everyone on the hook up. It seemed to take forever listing all the twigs at the time and who was the leader. It went something like, and from Denver Co. we have Johnnie Jump Up, 7th Corp. and his branch. Anyway, this man played his STS tape and on the hook up was his old WOW brother. He called H.Q. and got his number and in 5 days, he was across the country living and working with believers. Then this woman interrupted and said she was in a similar situation. She was praying to God for a new place to live because her leadership had destroyed her life and she needed to get away. That day her new Way-rag came in the mail and on the back page was a letter from someone that she took P.F.A.L with 15 years earlier. She called H.Q. and in 2 weeks, she was safe in a new town. Now days on a STS no names are listed just cities. The Way-rag will not publish a name on those letters. Kind of, makes you wonder?? The days of the spotlight and name-dropping are gone. Now its no names because you never know who might leave or get kicked out. No R.O.A. to get together for common folk. Only Adv Class grad specials. Cannot have common folk talking, only the sold out brainwashed. The Way now operates in shadows. Keep it toned down and low. Do not draw attention. Keep it business as usual. If some long standing Corp leaves nothing said. Keep regions, states and branches apart. No news is good news. I guess we know T.W.I. and its intentions by their fruit. To bad the younger generation of the way has introduced the older generation of the way to the internet, face book and my space. Simple answer is no, they hated to witness. They loved to teach. I think they liked to teach so they caould look so spiritual. I even went Way Disciple and the way corp never went out. The best memory I have is her flirting with the guy at Starbucks and getting his number. He never came to fellowship but went to him a few times??? copenhagen

This got me thinking so here it goes, For what it is worth here is my opinion. I agree with what Twinky wrote about the lack of enthusiasm for way-bots to actually want to witness. Here is what I have seen in the last 10-15 years. This is my opinion of what I have seen and expiernced. Rewind time back to mid 1990’s, P.F.A.L. is going the way of the dinosaur and we have a new hope, a new class for the times. Captain Forehead is in full power. Look at him wrong or question anything and he yells, rants and spits for hours. New light declares there is a devil spirit behind every door and Sh!t can’t just happen because Sh!t happens, it’s because of weakness.. SO confront, confront , confront. People cheer the madness of Captain Forehead and love is lost and replaced with fear. The constant diet of barf, I mean teachings give us an ever-changing doctrine to follow. The hoops we were jumping thru to find grace and favor in Gods eyes keep getting harder. Confrontation is expected on EVERY LEVEL. Everyone was required to open up there lives to leaders. Small infractions are made into mountains. People were hurt, marked and avoided. People who just wanted the love of God, his word and fellowship with like-minded believers were tossed aside and their reputations were tarnished. Because any weakness was unacceptable. Captain Forehead was taking us to the promised land of the prevailing word, there would be causalities weakness and fear was not acceptable. The machine kept turning and people were chewed up and spit out. Friends for years turned against each all in the name of God. People who stood up to the madness and fought for truth were quickly shown the door. This example taught followers of the way to turn off their emotions and let there brothers and sisters in Christ be abused. After all, we were the chosen group of God and if they could not be meek to the NEW LIGHT and REVELATION Captain Forehead was getting directly from God. It was their loss, and at least it was not me called to that meeting where you had the privilege and honor to be yelled at and spit on for hours. The new class that CONFRONTS the illogic of the world with the logic of the word rolls out. People see the monster for what he is, a yelling screaming mad man. No debt Homo purge Y2K conspiracy Eve is a lesbian and if you don’t see it in the Word like I do just trust me. His word is law The Pope wants an aircraft carrier? Everyone is seed Everyone in the Way is safe from the devil (just not way corp. they will get you) Weakness always brings down strength Be an advanced class grad or your dirt All is not well in way world. Lots of questions but no answers just way corp. in your life. People afraid of everything, fear take over peoples lives. Things people are afraid of, Getting yelled at Missing a meeting Not witnessing No one new at fellowship Debt Any form of weakness Asking a question or questiong any thing A friend or spouse rating you out to leadership There is no more cheering Captain Forehead only fear of him and his way-corp. Nazis. There is no where to run and hide, you have tossed all your friends family and coworkers Aside for the Way International and you have no support except the Way. The problem is the Way stole your life, freewill, heart, money, time and love has been replaced with fear. Your life is filled with fellowships three times a week, one night to witness, a leaders meeting and my favorite the meeting where you or someone you love is confronted. The one day off is spent moving or cleaning or setting up something. Your ready to snap. You just want some time for you and the family, but your vacation has to be approved by leadership. You wonder how you got in this mess. What happened to the love? Where is God? How can I be so unworthy? Why can I not have it together Like Captain Forehead or my way corp. leadership? Why was I called to this great household of God? Why am I not meek to change. Why do I do not believe big enough or give enough? This is what I am being told by leaders and every STS. Then the unspeakable happens, Captain Forehead gets busted. The Fox is now in charge. When they confirm her as Prez ,it is said in manifestations she is to be the healer of people’s hearts. Don’t yell at me, I am just reporting facts. Fellowships are cut back to twice a week and people are encouraged to get involved in their communities. Way corp. are told that they are to serve the people not be served. The burden of all your time being consumed by the way is gone. People can take a breath. Rules are still there but, your not getting smacked as hard or as often. The evil is still there but not publicly enforced. The Way goes in to self-preservation mode. Captain Forehead is gone and instead of a taskmaster, we have an old witch. She is evil but wants to keep people around so she can live off the ABS. She realized LCM was a paranoid freak who thought everyone was out to get him and just about killed the cash cow. Love is still not there but at least people are not getting there a$$ kicked everyday. Freedom is still not there but at least people feel like they have some. The hippie days are gone and people are so brain washed on VP kool-aid. No other doctrine fits their beliefs so they must stay. 10- 20 -30-40 year service awards for faithfulness are handed out. Life was so bad at one time in the Way, but we as a household made it. People are happy to stay because it’s different now. People are content playing church. Because they fit in nowhere else. Backbiting and tattle telling is over and brainwashed people stick to gather again Fast forward, a few years and people chose to remeberthe past but will not speak of it. The internet has pages devoted to all the dirty little secrets about The Way. People have stayed In the way but have doubts and fears. Trust is an issue with leadership. Since life is not so bad anymore with a taskmaster, they get lulled to sleep again. They know its far from perfect like the good old VP days but hey its there little cult, I mean household. Witnessing is definitely out in most older grads minds. They have been thru hell and back and are embarrassed to bring people to fellowship. Everyone knows what is on the internet about the Way, and if a new person finds it and wants to talk about it, what defense do they have? None. They will be exposed as the village idiot for staying with the wacky cult for so long. Therefore, you see the old witch has to drum up something new to keep the money rolling in. Numbers are down, people leave, kids grow up and run like hell. This is my take on things an I am sorry its so long. Copenhagen

Yes, I am still in.. What I can add is the truth that the way international has turned in to a church. No high profile leader, same old rehashed teachings. The root has died, there is no life left in it. They have turned in to regular church. I am not the only one who feels this way. Younger people can not wait to leave.. copenhagen p.s. Bolshevik I lost my crystal ball but I am willing to bet The way int was a one hit wonder in the late 60's early 70's. Yes a sucker is born every minute but the twi cant get them all.. What they had will never be seen again. Even the faithful person nowdays dreads witnessing or branch activities. They play church and want to be left alone. The days of fellowship 3x a week plus an outreach event are long gone. People went out of fear but know that they have tasted a little freedom they do not want there time all wrapped up in the way.. Mabye I should write Rosie a leter and tell her that people do not respect her or even like her and think she has personality of a skunk. She should shut twi down and take the money and run.. Bolshevik, No big boom of growth in the near future. They may have the leadres (if that is what you call lapdogs). Here are the problams. No cool leader to follow who can win crowds like VPP. The fox is a ugly old witch no no public speaking skills. A product that puts people to sleep. Pfal was exciting back in the day when people knew nothing about the bible. Now we can learn all about it on tv with tv preachers. There were a lot of drugs and free sex in the 1960's and a real Jesus movement. Now no sex in the way unless you count the fox and Donna. Drugs are now a bad thing. People are aware of cults now days, so the only big boom for the way is going to be a family of three that is comes to fellowship. Yesterday at fellowship the new Way Corp assigments were read.( Info gathered from STS June 7th 2009) I did not see the video, I just got the highlights. It appears to me that there is way to many Chiefs and very few Indians. Each Region seems to have 2-3 states. The names of the leaders are all ones I do not know. It is of my opnion that they keep having to promote way corp to newer and more important titles to keep them intrested in the way. Several state leaders were long time branch leaders who now got the nod to run a state, if thats whst you call 20-30 people in that state. What also I found very intresting were the lack of high profile names that held all the good jobs in the way during the late 1990's to early 2000's. It seems that the good old boys from way back are being tossed to the side. The fox is slowly letting you go. She needs new pets and lapdogs. Those who come to mind are Harvey P. the x-vp of the way, he was a lapdog for the fox. He loved to M&A people and did what ever the fox wanted. Bob Moneyhands if you ask him, he did it all from the way east to region cord. He and his wife could cover up a scandle like a true P.R person. Not wanting to derail the " the good times " thread, I will make a comment here and quote Bramble, "In the nineties people quit taking pictures of events etc--you just had to purge them later when people got M&A etc." This is such a true statement. Now with cheap video cameras and digital camaras you would think way meetings there would be tons of photos taken. Not so, people go but do not take pictures. There was a new lady at fellowship a few months ago who was into scrapbooking( I think that is what she called it). She signed up for the class and took it. She brought her camara, a high teck digital one and tried to take pictures of everything. This was discouraged. She went with the flow, even though this was her passion. After the class she had a scrapbooking party and invited all the ladies from fellowship to come. A bunch showed up but had no one had pictures to make a scrapbook. They just tried to witness to others at the scrapbook party. I even knew a guy who did not ask his best friend (who was a believer) to be his best man at his wedding. He chose a local way corp fellowship cord who he hardley knew. The reason was because he felt his friend was not as commited as he was and did not want his best friend in the pictures if he copped out.. This doctrine was never spoken as far as I know, it just seems to me that people know the herd will be thinned and the faithful did not want to have pictures of evil copouts. This is my take of what I see in the way. Your friends are not your friends out of love but standing. This is just another example of the way international and their mind set... If it looks, acts and smells like a cult, it must be a cult. copenhagen

Oldies I will not play your games. Potato, Thanks for your defense but not needed I will not respond to him because everyone here at the cafe knows him, what he represents and his love for the way international. All I will say is what I said in my last post PEOPLE IN THE WAY DO NOT THINK LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE. Just because they have not cashed your abs check in 20 years still does not mean they dont own you.. I feel sorry for Oldies he is a lonley oldman with out a home to call his own like his name he longs for the good old days in the way int, he is just not invited.
