Can you eloborate on this?? Did he separate from his fellowship that he runs where he lives, or the whole of Maine? And for what reasons, was he too busy, or he doesn't want to be with them? What is the two volume book about? Do you know if he's put together the advanced class he's been working on for the last 23 years? If so, is the content a carbon copy of the vicsters? Is he lightening up at all regarding his hero worship of his father in da verd? Thanks...

Geez, does this bring back memories! I remember the list! The codified specifics of what he liked and didn't like....the thin lipped white china cup..etc.. Wasn't the greatest leader supposed to be the greatest servant?? We were betwitched by him, some still are, we should have replaced worshiping old doc vic with worshiping God and following His Son.

Dooj, The tequila should be 1/2 cup, gold tequila has good flavor...and the lemon vinaigrette was part of the original recipe in that it was presented with a baby greens salad on top of the chicken dressed with the vinaigrette. I don't serve it that way, so I didn't include it, but here's the recipe: Lemon Vinaigrette: 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (2 lemons) 1/2 cup good olive oil 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. My favorite of all three recipes is the indonesian chicken, it is very good, similar to teriyaki chicken, the parmesan chicken usually gets the kid's vote.

This is from the thread TWI 1, 2, & 3 reprinted from Waydale, Dave And*erson is who's post it's from: "Seems to me it was Step 3 that got Wierwille. God, I just have to laugh at R D's report about the gold stashes. And what's really funny, is that, knowing Wierwille, the amount stashed in the various limbs must have been only the tip of the iceburg." This sounds like it is referring to another thread on Waydale. There's also a comment further down from someone else about a gambling loss in Las Vegas. Does anyone know what this is referring to?

I've been reading some of the older threads here on GS, and there's one that's a reprint of a Waydale thread where it talks about VP stashing gold at limb houses. What's with that? Is it true?

I was going to requote another's posters post once which included quotes from an offshoot's publication, and didn't due to some of their member's propensity toward lawsuits. It is a slippery slope.

Can you clarify what state the patient is in? Is she on life support of any kind, intervenious drip, respirator, feeding tube? What does unconscience mean? Vegetative state or coma? Or brain dead/life support? Is she in an acute hospital, rest home, or residential care home? Angel Flight is a private pilot flying his own aircraft on a volunteer basis. The main webpage for all the regions you'd need is now at www.aircharitynetwork.org. The website says ambulatory, though. I don't know whether the situation qualifies for angelflight/aircharitynetwork though, IMO. If she's in a hospital, they do have social workers whose job it is to help with this kind of problem. If she's able to be transported laying down in a van or suv, or even a sleeper train without medical care, just asssistance, someone in the family could accompany and even hire a nurse to help. Medivac flights cost alot to go that far, usually about 15k-25k, and someone has to pay. From what you've stated previously, it sounds like that is the only way she can be moved. If so, she might be relegated to stay in Georgia until the family can muster the dough.

I hear ya socks! I cooked a nice egg and toast breakfast too this morning!! Ah well..from the frying pan into the fire.. From the sounds of the deafening silence, CES is acting like a black hole in space, sucking all the sound and life into it, and sucking what's already there deeper in-a real dead zone. Insiders have even said those who have spoken up in the past against the personal prophecy or who've been a victim of it, like E. Ly*n, have been disparaged and even forced out. I think we here do have a stake in this, even if we are not members of CES, their current trend of hiding and covering for evil is not the right way to go. Since their own "leaders" didn't have the wherewithal to see it for what is was, nor deal with it and fix it, we sure as heck have the right to help. Wasn't the pressure and contact from this website and those who post here what started the only reform that's taken place there thus far?? We are calling them out, their lack of response is what leads to a poor reception here cause we've seen it all before. They do need outside help and perspective, perhaps that is why they initially contacted Don'tWorry....where's the follow thru from them? I think most Gs'ers here would be supportive of any major moves to correct their problems. I hope they have the balls and honesty to face their people, and to figure things out and change their ways.

We make our fried egg sandwiches with buttered toasted bread, ketchup, lettuce, fried egg, mayo, and sometimes with avocado. mmmm!

I heard the "I wish I were the man I know to be..." long before the final years. I think it was another part of the "illusion", partly to evoke (manipulate) an empathetic emotional response from the hearers, and partly to publicly cloak his behavior with a mantel of remorse. I those words were the same as crocodile tears... so to speak.

This thread brings to mind the House of Acts and the Living Room that was run by the hippy's from the Haight in San Francisco. What they did there was very effective, I don't think they asked for money either, and they were the starting point that the vicster drew from. I'm not sure whether they were corrupted once they hooked up with vp's outfit, do any of you oldsters recall whether the Way East or West advocated payments of money in the early days?

AnotherDan, regarding the Samaritan of the 20th century, I bet it would really chap TWI's hide if it were a kindly gay guy! WAW, I remember while being in the Corps accompanying the Corps Coordinator's wife to the drug store where she filled her personal Rx's. Too bad when I had one the worst sinus infection of my life that lasted 3 weeks, where all I could get was herb tea and a face massage from third aide, they couldn't scrounge up anything else for me either. Very different standards of treatment in the TWI food chain, the hierarchy system of TWI was born of the debil.

Should VPW's Name Be Removed from The Genesis Pursuit?
now I see replied to Eagle's topic in About The Way
The question I have, is what stake does this nice couple whom you admire, who are avid Wierwill admirers and supporters have in you taking vp's name out of the book? Off hand, the only persons that would come to mind who fit that category of admiration would be upper eschalon CFF members,or Geer group members who'd want to have your book in their bookstores so their members could learn about the errors, but who wouldn't want vp's name used because it would tarnish his reputation since he is admired and exaulted there. I would imagine if this is the case, it would be a deal breaker to keep VP's name included. Tough call for you, what is the affiliation of these people? -
Me too, Dan.

Bnis here, again, I was just responding to what was written, bliss said, "But, if I am a friend, then, I will be one. What am I suppossed to do? Dump them? Sorry, my beliefs in Jesus to love them where they are at, tell me otherwise." Bliss, after all your own words indicate by saying “what am I supposed to do?”, that you wanted a response, now you are saying that the situation is different than what was posted in that you're not just preserving a friendship, you have a stake in not rocking the boat because your family is still there. You have changed the story, what I commented on is not the real situation. Fine. I have no problem with that, if that is the case, I might not rock the boat either. Belle, I can proudly and honestly say that I do stand up for injustice and have put my neck out for others when they are being used, abused, threatened by bullies and harassed, even when I have no stake whatsoever with those involved. It is something I believe is the right thing to do, and I don’t feel that one has to have a title or some hierarchal ex ministry status to do so. That in itself was all part of the deception; we all have a responsibility to hold ANYONE who abuses the flock’s feet to the fire, especially those in TWI. And yes I did stand up to those weasels at Hq’s in the day…..and by the way, if you look at my original post, it was more like a call to action for anyone and a commentary toward what should be done when those who've set themselves up as "leaders" start hurting people, this also applies to those heading CES....it was originally supposed to be an indirect response to Bliss' personal statement, at least that is what I intended by my original statement when I posted my thoughts on this public web board thread. I'm sorry you took it as giving orders to bliss specifically. My original statement still stands. Bliss, I apologize if I made you feel bad, my intentions were to motivate, in the present situation you’re in, with family there, it is good to keep the lines of communication intact with them, however you think you need to that, I did not know that was the situation. I’m grateful you told us the whole story, your actions are in keeping with the problem. I hope someday there will be a time with your family where these kinds of situations don’t happen. I hope God will give you peace and understanding in dealing with these tedious dynamics. Take care, Bnis

Here's some threads regarding the early days of TWI, they tell the story: Old Thread: TWI1, TWI2, TWI3 -- From Waydale Jim Doop, the way west and vp

Ok, am I the only one who didn't know that CES was Marking & Avoiding people??? I admit I hadn't read the "CES is a mess" thread until yesterday, I had only read the docs Paw posted and the John Lynn letter thread, but I had not realized they were ostracizing, demoralizing, gossiping about, vilifying and excommunicating their members just like TWI did. All for just speaking out about CES policies or doctrine...like the personal prophecy stuff.. Geez, it didn't take too long for history to repeat itself...it also sounds like there is a veil of silence going on too, where their members either don't know what's going on at their own Hq's including the lawsuit and what the reasons behind the change of the presidency were, nor do they know about the docs posted here unless they visit GS, such as the Graeser letter, Clergy meeting letter, letter about prophecies against E. Lynn, E Lynn's letter. Isn't this eerie? Just like when TWI started to crumble...

Coolchef, I add powdered or english mustard (milder flavors) to my bechemels sometimes too. I use the same sauce base when I make British style curry, I just add powdered curry, potatoes, onions, peas, lemon and shrimp, but I omit the cheese. Sometimes I also add chix stock, or coconut milk or yorgurt. Then I top it with chopped peanuts, raisins, cocnut, peppers, green onions, chutney, etc.. serve with rice.

Belle, I'm not about to tell anyone what to do either, bliss brought it up, and I amsimply answering her/his question: I see the love of God differently. This dynamic is at work at lot out there, if you are not the recipient of the evil works or acts of the individual, then it is awfully hard to stand up for those to whom it's been done. That is why ole vp got away with it like he did, and how so many were hurt and discarded over the years in TWI. There was certainly no one to stand up for them and for what was right. IMO, the Moneyhands are absolutely immersed in deception and they are the promoters of it, they are full of pride, as in the original sin, and are harbingers of lies and lascivious acts. Bliss, I realize it is hard if you value the kind of relationship you have with them and want it to stay the way you want it. I couldn't do it, but you feel you need to protect the relationship, after all they might get mad and end it with you if you get too confrontational. Do what you will. My approach is what the bible tells me to do about ministers who don't guard and protect the flock and are in the throws of sin and devilish acts. They are the ones that have accepted a "leadership" position, and that is why we are talking about it here. Good luck to both of you.
-
Bliss, you said: A fellow GS'er told me this recently, "evil reigns when good men do nothing". They need their feet held to the fire. Who else is gonna do it? Those in league with them at TWI? Sure....
-
In light of so many still involved in TWI, attending offshoots such as CES, Geer's group, with many others attending churches and many purposfully deciding to not be involved in any Christian hierarchy, my question is, what is your definition of christian leadership? Just curious what everyone thinks and how you define it....

Here's a web page that does some of the legwork for you in catergorizing and listing pertinent versers regarding the first century church and where they met. click here

The weird culture of verboten words such as "good luck" and "hope" always bugged me, and as quickly as others heard those words leave my mouth they lept at the chance to correct me, sort of your brother's keeper fast at work. I think the word hope and the statement joniam quoted "most beautiful failure he'd seen from God's people was when they thought hoping was believing" stems from the work that vp "borrowed" from Kenyon regarding mental assent. It's from the book by Kenyon "Two Kinds of Faith". Vp of course embellished it with his version of positve confession as well. The villain was having hope instead of active faith.
