  1. Yep, Simon & Simon TV show. Mike Myers played a character called Simon on Saturday nite live, the two pics I used portray the character, here's a clip.
  2. Yep, the Four Tops, now I remember.. next one... " I ain't no senator's son. "
  3. Hint: Same first name as one of the American Idol judges...
  4. Bulwinkle, these threads kind of take on a life of their own even though you started it, plus I think this is the first or second time I've ever posted a clue under this topic, even if it was my fault for choosing this song wrongly, there is a learning curve here and you shouldn't get quite so upset about a game on a web board. I understand your point, but that song was top 40, played on MTV - extreemly mainstream, I'm sorry you didn't think so.Peace
  5. Tom Mous*ff used to do that to me, you'd say something to him and he'd complety ignore you and not answer you. What a tool. All those guys trained by cornfield vic who partook in the dark side that vic taught them were real weanies, to say the least, the acts they committed under the cloak as men of the cloth were outright criminal, they took advantage of people, especially the women, they have a lot to answer for. The ones that give them a free pass have never been through anything close to what twi's insider's club inflicted, they simply have no clue of the horrors others endured. They show the same disconnect from others suffering as was/is so prevalent in the twi hierarchy.
  6. I really don't care, why fixate on him, he did as much damage to people as he could, with no regrets, the last person who reported on him here about two years ago or so reinforced that he is still not sorry nor thinks he did anything wrong. If the son thinks he is being mistreated, I'm sure the father isn't too far behind that thought... I'm sure we'll hear about it if he ever sees the light...I wouldn't hold my breath though...
  7. Dooj is right, she got it. FYI, it was a popular song in the 80's, it was on the top 40 radio, it was also the theme song to "Dirty Dancing" -the movie with the clasic line, "nobody puts Baby in the corner", and was sung by Patric Swayze. "Hungry Eyes" by Eric Carmen was also in the movie and on the same top 40 list at the same time, "Get Outta My Dreams - Get Into My Car" by Billy Ocean and "Shake Your Love" by Debbie Gibson were also on the same top 40 list. The Onus is also on the reader to know the era.
  8. Thanks for the equal representation! Half neked owen wilson in the water..
  9. Wow Excie, I think you hit the nail on the head, that summation could be the exact way the cornfield huckster took to the road less traveled. Amazing, he had to have made a conscious decision to go the way he did. His whole life amounted to using the Lord's Name in vain. What a scumbucket!!
  10. Hint: has to do with the character portrayed...
  11. She's like the wind through my tree She rides the night next to me She leads me through moonlight Only to burn me with the sun She's taken my heart But she doesn't know what she's done I look in the mirror and all I see Is a young old man with only a dream Am I just fooling myself That she'll stop the pain Living without her I'd go insane Feel her breath on my face Her body close to me! Can't look in her eyes She's out of my league! Just a fool to believe I have anything she needs She's like the....
  12. Ok, Nearly neked lady More half neked girl/Pin-up hillbilly girl/actress Old Jed Clampet's hat = ?????
  13. Hey, no problemo G, An unmarried Wall Street tycoon who has everything, gets his chance to see what he really needs and that he really has nothing at all.
  14. Feel her breath on my face Her body close to me! Can't look in her eyes She's out of my league! Just a fool to believe I have anything she needs She's like the....
  15. Yeah, in a sad, sad way, it was a combination of "A Field of Dreams", "build it and they will come", and Harry Potter, all good movies, but in reality he bewitched us and led us to a cornfield with stadium lights in Ohio every August!
  16. Can we draw parallels between vpw and Simon the Sorcerer in Acts 8? There's another thread currently, where a poster is challenging whether cornfield vic ever really spoke in tongues or just mouthed the words, "lo shanta malakasito lo shanta". It made me think of Simon the Sorcerer in Acts 8 and whether vpw was the modern day reincarnation of Simon the Sorcerer?--Cornfield vic, having the appearance of the power of god by speaking in tongues, either fake or genuine, but really being a insolent shiester with a hardened heart and proclivity to abuse people, who had no interest in pleasing god. Acts 8 excerpts: For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8And there was great joy in that city. 9But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: 10To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. 11And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries. 12But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.... 18And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 20But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. 21Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. 24Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me. This really sounds similar to what the Cornfield Vic did, with no repentance! I wonder if he chuckled to himself when he taught this section in the Piffle class, seeing the same similarity in his own life, and feeling he'd beat God at his game..Hijacking a great movement of God and deliverance of people, and drawing to himslef, the people, great wealth, position, power and accolade, all while raping and deceiving, and drawing them away from true worship.
  17. Hi Groucho, I'll give you the point of cornfield vic faking the speaking in tongues, but didn't he personally lead Jimmy Do*p and Steve Heefn*r into tongues in person in California? Wasn't that what turned them toward him in the first place? I also think Piffle taught countless people to SIT, although I never did it at the end of the class, I did it at home afterward, on my own, and I feel the same as dmiller about it, I was 16 at the time, my tongue is still the same and as fluent as the first day I did it. It makes me wonder about the cornbred huckster though, he certainly knew a money making machine when he saw it, it even had the appearance of the power of god.
