  1. The all about us stuff, villifying everything else, making twi the center of the universe, also kept all the financial giving to just us too.
  2. Thanks Twinky, from what I've seen toad in the hole puffs up a bit like yorkshire pudding, it sounds like it gets custardy in the middle, haven't tried it yet, but it sounds good.
  3. This recipe sounds like something kids would enjoy eating and making! Good recipe Bramble, very filling on a cold winter's night. There are so many things you can do quick pizza with, french bread, pita bread, flat bread etc. too!
  4. What is so wrong is they made that money off the backs of God's children, just like the many other religions that do the same. It's the kind of thing young people in the '60's and '70's eschewed-the organized religion-full of fear tactics, lording over people, dressing people up in suits singing orderly hyms at church listening to their preacher using the scriptures as a club, while the churches rake in the money-operating like a warehouse for christian searchers-giving only enough to draw them in and keep them there. It turned into exactly what we didn't want and away from what appealed to us in the beginning. We should have examined what we were fed.
  5. You know the anti gay stuff is just as strong in southern bible belt religions, they fear gays just as much and react the same way as twi did/does. It's truely disgusting. It must be a tactic to keep people in fear and keep them in the pews/seats, a tool of these types of churches-the us against them mentality-we're better/more righteous than them-we have the market cornerned on truth stance. Sure makes a lot of drama-while drifting their congregation into a little tidy box, further away from God one step at a time. They can bite me on the Harry Potter stuff, it's escapism, it's a story-twi's response was just another controll/fear measure, ending up with their hand in the believer's pocketbook.
  6. OMG! I just looked at the link WW so kindly put up for the Y2K preparation, I cannot believe they put something like that out to "bless" everyone in the New Year! If one were to take that stuff seriously, they'd have a panic attack and wall themselves up in a unibomber cabin someplace they couldn't be found! What a gross miscarriage of religious authority (ha!) to issue such a long communique based on a foundless RUMOUR!!! What did they think they were running, the State Dept? Sure inspires a close, stress free communion with God. Can you feel the love? Ridiculous!
  7. You are not a man. You are a big fat joke. I'm a man who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn. That's what kind of man I am. You're just a woman with a small brain. With a brain a third the size of us. It's science. I will have you know that I have more talent and more intelligence in my little finger than you do in your entire body, sir. -You are a smelly pirate hooker. You look like a blueberry. -Why don't you go back to your home on Whore Island? Well, you have bad hair. -What did you say? I said... your hair... looks stupid. ........... I love... carpet...I love... desk. Are you just looking at things in the office and saying that you love them? I love lamp. Do you really love the lamp, or are you just saying it because you saw it? I love lamp. I love lamp.
  8. Yes, it was Scrooged, should have posted dialogue excerpts instead... Sorry, had a brain freeze when posting and was too much in a hurry to check which thread I was on. I will post another a little later tonight.
  9. Oh shoot, I thought this was pictionary, I will erase this and come back with an new clue...sorry bout the faux pas.

Dear Jane, Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it. Regards, David. ---- From: Jane Gilles Date: Friday 10 Oct 2008 11.03am To: David Thorne Subject: Re: Whose spider is that? Dear David, Yes it is the same drawing. I copied and pasted it from the email you sent me on the 8th. David your account is still overdue by the amount of $233.95. Please make this payment as soon as possible. Yours sincerely, Jane Gilles ---- From: David Thorne Date: Friday 10 Oct 2008 11.05am To: Jane Gilles Subject: Automated Out of Office Response Thankyou for contacting me. I am currently away on leave, traveling through time and will be returning last week. Regards, David. ---- From: David Thorne Date: Friday 10 Oct 2008 11.08am To: Jane Gilles Subject: Re: Re: Whose spider is that? Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion. Regards, David. ---- From: Jane Gilles Date: Monday 13 Oct 2008 2.51pm To: David Thorne Subject: Re: Re: Re: Whose spider is that? Dear David, As I have stated, we do not accept drawings in lei of money for accounts outstanding. We accept cheque, bank cheque, money order or cash. Please make a payment this week to avoid incurring any additional fees. Yours sincerely, Jane Gilles ---- From: David Thorne Date: Monday 13 Oct 2008 3.17pm To: Jane Gilles Subject: Re: Re: Re: Re: Whose spider is that? I understand and will definately make a payment this week if I remember. As you have not accepted my second drawing as payment, please return the drawing to me as soon as possible. It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it. Regards, David. ---- From: Jane Gilles Date: Tuesday 14 Oct 2008 11.18am To: David Thorne Subject: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Whose spider is that? Attached <spider2.gif>
  11. Lifted, what I was trying to say was there is no Corporate loyalty from employers toward employees anymore, everyone is expendable, sometimes they even tell you that. Layoffs, downsizings, firings, and furloughs, are commonplace today compared to my parent's era pre 1970's. Back in their day you worked for the same company most all of your working life, and retired at age 62-65 with a pension or retirement package. Not so commonplace in business today, oftentimes even retirement packages today get meddled with down the line. Most everyone I know in my age bracket or younger, hasn't kept the same job their whole working life, most have been fired, layed off, downsized, etc., at least once, or multiple times, and unless they have a civil servant or gov't job, they are not relying on a company retirement package.
  12. Thanks for the info Rocky, , sounds like you know a thing or two about the subject, I wonder why they aren't interested in giving loans? Is it compliance with the no debt stance of the ministry, or is it a no service stance from the CU?
  13. Rocky, not according to this doc that Goey posted in another thread, enter 66066 for the Charter Number then click FIND at the top, it appears to show no loan activity, they aren't and haven't given any loans at all in the recent past. http://www.ncua.gov/indexdata.html
  14. Notta-if you look on the UAW website, it will show the current contract the autoworkers have, the $70 + figure is a little misleading, their acutal take home pay starts at $28.00/hr, the average worker makes about $35/hr, the other approx $35.00 comes in the form of a retirement pension fund, health and medical benefits, tuition fund, etc. They actually average a take home pay of $58k-$75k before taxes. When you break it down, there's not a huge difference from other corps who have a retirement plan. The difference is today, there's no loyalty when it comes to corporations and employment, people don't always work at the same job for 20-30 years, and few get a retirement plan outside of government or civil servant jobs.
  15. The Way Credit Union looks like it's not loaning any money, and is only being used as a depository, although it looks like they are investing their assests somewhere. Bankrate.com lists them as 3 star rating out of 5 stars for stability, indicates no loan activity at all, and with $11,335,000.00 in assests. Here is a free data base for anyone that wants to look up the way international in any state from a central starting point. Although you could google eitheir Corporate Commission or Secretary of State for each state and find the same info too. http://soswy.state.wy.us/Business/Business50.aspx Aside from the credit union, from reviewing the Arizona docs on their website, it looks like twi as a corporation wasn't doing too much investing of assests while D*n Wierw*lle was alive, but they are now. From Ohio's docs it looks like Rosie has submitted new legal docs in an effort to make twi more like a regular corporate entity wich looks like it reigns in the old skimming off the top financially by the sticky fingered BOD. http://www2.sos.state.oh.us/reports/rwserv...in=200719000720
  16. Twinky, from what I can see, if you follow these links below, you'll be able to find those answers. http://www.cc.state.az.us/ It looks like all corporations doing business in AZ have to file these disclosures. Go to the Corporate Records tab and click on Information on Active Corporations, type in Way International at the top where it says search, The Way Int'l will come up at the top, click on that and there will be the records filed since 1983, and docs for the last 12 years accessible. It's amazing this info is there...Who knew? Thanks Goey.
  17. Wow, what a find, it looks like they are heavily invested, + $21 million, in Money Market funds, they must be hurting now if they hadn't pulled out before Sept. this year. Looks like they are showing a loss for 2007? Maybe some of the better number crunchers here can affirm that...interesting stuff, I wonder how much money twi made at their height in the '80's?
  18. (It's really Wanda Sykes from Crank Yankers. )
  19. A man regrets how his relationship with his dad ended, finds resolution in his front yard.
  20. Yep, I recognize the song, but on paper, I wouldn't recognize it.
