You have to have 500 posts to obtain permission to change your title. This is the default with the application. It can be changed, if you ask Paw nicely and he's in a good mood... :)

I am so disappointed. No one left comments on his New Hicksville trip notice. Where are the GSCafe evangelists?

Do you think Mike's posting the virtues of VP's lost last teaching had anything to do with it?
-
He was trying to tell use something. The books that had his name on it, well, "Hey folks! I didn't write the book!" He was admitting to plagiarizing, write there in PFAL. Go figure. I knew I never paid close enough attention in that class.

Invision doubled you up by releasing a new version that supported display names, so display names were ported at the last minute.

I think Orange Cat put it best: QUOTE (John 10:10) The correct and proper reading of John10:10 literally according to usage in light of present truth is... The Adversary comes to play havoc with your schedule but I have come that they may be micromanaged by their corps overseers and that more than abundantly. Orange Cat

You can change the size of the displayed font within your browser. Just click on the browser's View menu item, and select Text Size. Works in IE and Firefox. If your using something else, then you'll have hunt around in its menus.

Could you post how you're using the BBCodes? To do so, wrap the enitre post in CODE /CODE tags(of course, put brackets around CODE). Will look something like: [CODE] [b]Bold text[/b] [quote]Quoted text[/quote] [ /CODE] Also, there is a page that describes each BBCode and it's use. Not sure if it will address your question, but it's at What BBCode Does

Thank you for pointing that out. Apparently, it only happens in IE. Firefox wraps the boxes so the formating error doesn't show (which is why Paw or I didn't notice it). I scaled back the boxes. I've also sent a note to Paw to re-examine the member rankings (the number of boxes are based on the number of posts you have).

I've been retrieving people's avatars from the old site and Private Messaging them to the requestor as I've seen requests for them appear. I've sent everyone on this thread their old avatar that has mentioned it. If you would like your old avatar, please private message me and I'll fetch it for you (just hit the PM button on this post below my Profile info).

You know, if they had written that only as: there wouldn't be any problems today with owning a gun. Registration of a firearm would easlily be considered an infrigement. Any other restriction would never old up. But since they put that part in about a militia and free state, sort of complicated the meaning a bit, too much for liberal judges. Can you tell I live in a state with rather strict gun laws? I definetly don't live in Texas.

The image you have has your avatar is a jpg. As far as I know, only gif images can contain animation. Do you have a gif version on your PC? There is a time limit of 2 hours for editing a post.

The current limit is the default. To have it increased, you'll need to petition Paw. B) :o

Look's like the last upgrade removed the link, but the help topic is still here. What each BBCode does I'll see if I can force the link back into the posting section.

There is a security issue with enabling HTML for posting. Although the software takes precautions on checking HTML in posts, it's not foolproof. Certain HTML commands can be destructive, whether intentional or unintentional.

You may have noticed a red/orange box image next to some of the topic titles that looks like this: That little red/orange box has some nice functionality. When it appears, it means there are unread posts in that topic. If you click on it, it takes you to the very first post you have not read yet. Try it out. Of course, all the older threads have this box since we did not port the who's-read-what database. But, you can mark an entire forum as read so that the next time you come in, only the topics that have new posts show the box. Too mark a forum as read, click on the Forum Options box in the upper right side of a forum, and select "Mark forum as read."

Testing. Need to have the topic starter name stick. ------------ Look's like it is.

*FIXED* Notice how if you post two or more times in a row on a thread, with no one posting in between, that your subsequent posts are merged with the original? ------------ Of course, this time it didn't. Must be a timer somewhere that determines whether to merge them, or keep them seperate.

Testing user id, display name issue. Well, I think I can fix it. I'll give it a shot.
