Taking someone else's work, applying modifications, then calling it your own does not get around copyright issues. It is stealing someone else's work and goes against GreaseSpot's Copyright Policy. The quoted material was a translation of the aramaic texts done by someone else, apparently on http://www.v-a.com/bible/ where they charge for viewing the complete texts.

This deserves some victory music!

Avoid Micro$oft activation all together, as well as the $$ shelled out for the license. Run Linux!

NDEs have been documented in just about every culture, and it usually involves either someone from the person's life they loved, or an icon from their religion. When the brain realizes that the body is dying and can't be stopped, it begins to shut things down. It stops registering pain, releases endorphins and other items to help put the mind at ease. Given this, it's not a stretch to think that a part of the brain would play out some fantasy the person had been dreaming about for years about meeting so and so when they die. The point is, the brain knows about death, does everything to delay it, but knows when it's over and nothing can be done. Rather than going out in agony, it does what it can to go out peacefully.

You got me. Still cool though...

If you can't view the above, try it directly at Google

Check the event log on the terminal server. You may find errors when the printers are attempting to be setup. I had this in a remote productin network all the time. We specifically configured the servers to disallow the attaching of remote printers through a terminal session (bad practice for a secure production network). Even so, a rouge network admin would have his client set to add the printers, connect, the server refuse the printer setup, generate log errors, monitoring software picked up the errrors and emailed them to every network admin. Then every network admin gets on the person to correct his client settings...;)

This can be done. Microsoft has a write-up on it: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...135&sd=tech

The following is a picture taken of camels in the desert. It is considered one of the best pictures of the year (2005). Look closely, the camels are the little white lines in the picture. The black you see is just the shadows! Click the image for a larger version. In case you were wondering if this was photoshopped ;) : Snopes: Photograph shows overhead view of shadows cast by camels in the desert.

Deer kill people? Other than hitting one with a car and having it come flying through the windshield, when has a deer killed someone? Walking up to one and punching it doesn't count.

If you haven't wandered into the Gallery lately, which given the traffic in there, is probably a significant number, then you're probably not aware that we are approaching 300 picutures in there. The Members Gallery has some nice pictures posted by the locals... Sorry, no porn.

They'd also have to have something worth singing about.

I'd rather be a greeter at Walmart than work for TWI in any position. Much more rewarding.

No you couldn't. Bob doesn't claim to be speaking for the one, true, all-powerful, god. Nothing to pick apart. Angry? What gives you that idea? A critiscm of someone's outlandish claims comes off as anger? Every religion has writings claiming to be the will of god and all truth. What makes whichever one you're refering to so special?

Haven't read most of this, but the subject's got me thinking.... Since a major percentage of the traffic going over the Internet is pornography, somewhere around 50% - 60%, it seems that Craig and the rest of his croonies would have embraced it with open arms (or robes).
-
It's a point of view. Currently, I don't distinguish between religion and TWI. Basically the same thing everywhere, just taste different. There is a biological element to this, but it's too much for me to type at the moment....

TWI is very talented in this area. They can demonstrate it in multi-colored, multi-dimensional, and multi-linguistic ways. They can't be with you more than 5 minutes without farting and letting you know their crap stinks. Unfortunately, there are too many that refuse to smell the air once in awhile, or do smell it and blame it on the dog.

Environment and culture play a role. If there were no god in the culture, you'd probably never bother looking for him/her/it.

This gets bumped to the top because it's a great thread and if you haven't read it yet, you should! Also, there is no way this subject has been exhasted.
-
Reading how "fellowship" (aka twig) reminds me of how really stupid I was at one time. Hopefully I'm better now, but the jury is still deliberating it...
-
The word was moved much like a normal bowel movement, which is where TWI's crap belongs.

Religion propagates through generations because it is pushed on children as they are raised. Without this, religion would have died out long ago.

I haven't read this thread yet, but I have one question: Is "mindedness" even a word?
