Wasn't aware you were using Yahoo. So your address was the catch-all for your work's domain? You must have been flooded with spam. Most sites don't use catch-all email addresses anymore. They used to make sense before spam came along, now they are only spam collectors and take up disk space. Normally it's best to not have a catch-all email address. Without one, spam addressed to invalid addresses gets refused. Legitimate mail addressed to an invalid address gets bounced back and the sender knows they sent it to the wrong address. If no one is monitoring the catch-all account, legitimate mail with typos in the address get sent there and the sender thinks it was delivered, when in fact it goes to a black hole.

Those only have the envelope information. You want the full header, which will include the routing lines. Looks like: Received From: mailserver(4.4.4.4) by anotherserver(5.5.5.5) on Mon 1/2/2007 Although, is p508976A6.dip.t-dialin.net your business ISP?

$50 for an 80GB drive is ok. If you shop around, you can probably get a 300GB for $100. Your drive may or may not be bad. No NTLDR means the file responsible for loading the operating system is missing. Whether the file was deleted (because of a virus?) or just can't be read because of a bad hard drive depends on the results of a disk scan. If you've got your Windows XP install disk, pop it in and boot from it. Somewhere along the line it should give you an option for "Emergency Repair Mode". This will drop you down to a command prompt, in which you can run 'chkdsk' on the drive.

You have to look at the headers to trace back where the email originated from. It's possible it's not even coming from your network (but probably is). If I'm guessing right, the email being bounced is coming back as an attachment. If so, post it here as an attachment and I'll take a look at it.

Click on "My Controls" on the second menu bar under the Happy New Year! banner. When in My Controls, click "Change Personal Photo" on the left hand side.

DMiller, I finally duplicated your problem. Soon as I figure out what's causing it, I'll let you know. That was quick. Firefox is caching some old info. Force Firefox to reload the page with CTRL-F5 and you should be all set.

For PMs, the reply button is the Quote button. Do ask me why it doesn't say "Reply".

Logo fixed. Should stay where it is supposed to be now.

Finally figured out why some people are having the logo at the top covering the menus. It's a browser width issue. If the browser isn't wide enough, the logo gets pushed down. Working on a fix for it, but in the mean time if you see the logo covering the menus try increasing the width of your browser window.

The only thing I can think of is to check that you have javascript enabled and do not have any ad-blocking extensions. Other than that, stumped. Tried it with Firefox on Mac and Linux and both function fine.

For those who cannot get into the holiday spirit (those who still retain way-brains can pause for a twinge now, cringing about devil spirts ), I've set up the default skin for use. You can use it by selecting "Default" from the drop-down list on the bottom-left of any page.
-
Sounds like a browser specific issue. Which one are you using?
-
Hap, We've noticed a couple unwanted features that show up in particular browsers. Which browser are you using? DMiller, In the editor, the top row next to Sizes has a drop-down that has an "A" on it (at least in the Standard editor, haven't looked at the RTE editor yet). Use this to change the font color.

Private Messages are no different than email (except they stay here instead of being delivered to one's email server). Just like email, anyone can hit the forward button, can copy and paste to somewhere else, etc. So just like you would not send personal information in an email to someone you didn't trust, you shouldn't do the same with PMs. As for posting a PM publicly, it is subjective and usually will fall under the rules of posting personal information about someone else without their permission. Normally it would not be allowed. There could be exceptions though. For instance, someone using the PM system to hide behind while attacking several people for what they post.

Bluz, That was pretty cool. Now I'm going to have to get an IPv6 tunnel working so I can see the color version. :) Abigal, /copy and paste someone else's resolution begin Internet Explorer performance is greatly dependent in part on the number of simultaneous connections that can be made for a current page. By default, the value is 4. This means only a maximum of 4 simultaneous connectons will be made per server. I would be interested in reading the final opinion myself. Haven't been able to find it.

And why Prison Fellowship really wants to be in that prison (besides recruiting convicts to their cult): 1.5 Million is a lot of money. That's 1/2 million per year. Let me see, would I want to be paid 1/2 million per year to recruit new members to my cult? That's 1/2 million of tax payer money per year.

Those articles are so skewed and slanted. For the other side, try this one: Evangelical Conversion-for-Parole Program Thwarted I saw nothing in the (long) article about a ruling that evangelicals are unconstitutional. But a lot on a tax-payer funded religious organization who's only purpose in the prison was to recruit new members.

Do you know the difference between its, it's, their, there, and they're? Take this test: Its/It's and There/Their/They're

Adding optional fields for Corps number, Advanced class, etc. is also an excellent idea. We'll see if we can get it in.
