I saw a guy with this huge green hat; it looked like a skyscraper on top of his head....had to ask him if it was stuffed....oh well, it looked that way to me! No! I wasn't partying just then! Just had to ask...Who else is Irish and proud of it? If not, what are your other origins? My Dad's side is French and Irish. My aunt who is a nun, did this huge family history..Definitely from Ireland...sorry can't remember where...(Yeah, she had fun picking at me while I was in twi...about how much I abundantly shared to the ministry) My mom's side is Scotch, British, and Blackfoot Indian (high cheek-bones anyone?) from the St. Lawrence River across the top of NY State... My dad used to pick on my mom because she has a long nose. (from her indian background or so I'm told) We used to do these family films, and he always capped his movies with a final side-clip of her nose.....He'd always laugh...

It's sad that people resort to that kind of behaviour. I guess they think they can get away with it because no one will ever know. But sooner or later it will catch up as the lies continue to mount. You're going to slip up somewhere...Just don't understand the mentality in that.

Can't say I've been to alot of games, but concerts are my thing. Do you know how hard it is to get any enjoyment when someone or a group of people next to you are booing? I think it's rude...

I agree Rascal. If you're going to extend your services as a professional, then BE a professional. Act like one. Keep your personal thoughts, preferences, hatred, and whatever else out of it. Otherwise, you have no business wearing that white coat..

Being an idealist myself, I think you have to listen to what your "inner core" is telling you. Someone tells you no...Well that just makes you want to do it even more.. After having thought it through, and you still want to act upon it, why not? We're all different, and that's what adds spice to life. The truth is no one is going to see it exactly as you see it... The reasoning, the motivation, what we wish to obtain will usually bear fruit with our desires if we just stick to what we know we should act on...

Wanderer, I know what you mean.... You know those outlandish things seem to stand out....The things that make sense in our lives seem to work for us time over time... It's OK. We were fed alot of stuff... We just have to filter out what we don't want...

Didn't Jesus Christ touch and heal lepers? His compassion was there for everyone to see. Why didn't this example "shine" on our "leaders"? Talked to a friend of mine who just had surgery...Hmmm. I think it would have really blessed her if I would have accused, and asked her where her believing was.... No, I just told her I'd been concerned about her, and just wanted to hear how she was doing...She was happy to hear from me, and was encouraged... You know, I would much rather be on this side of the fence!
