A school where the principal still has the right to 'paddle' a kid ? We're selling up and moving there !! I know of a few reports where AD ADHD was diagnosed 'willy nilly' by doctors and Ritalin and other drugs handed out like lollies. ODD ( oppositional defiance disorder?)Give me a fr....n break, reminds me of one of our twin daughters going through a 'patch' of that when she was little.A wooden hairbrush on her bottom cured her within a day. Then, when she was 14 going on 15 she met an older boy (who already had one child) and thought he was the bees knees. Selina and I didn't.That 'ol pickle jar' seemed to be visiting us again. To cut a long story short,we came home one night,saw the boy with his friends waiting around a corner in a car for her to sneak out. Josh my oldest boy and myself went out with a golf club.Never saw them again. My daughter got some 'correction'.I made her sit in a chair for an hour sobbing her eyes out.( this cut my heart too o.k. ) She hated Selina & myself for about three days and then got over it. Now married to an awesome young man and they have a gorgeous 2 y.o. Try and reason with a 14 y.o. who is bedazzled by an older sleazebag ? Let her learn by making her own mistakes ? Ah,no,not if I can help it.

I'm really, really sorry that so many people die of starvation whilst I have the privilege of choosing what delicious take-out food tonite.I'm really, really sorry that people are massacered while I can lay in my bed safely tonite and listen to the rain on my roof. I'm really, really sorry that some people will go to bed alone tonite whilst I can snuggle into my beautiful, soft, feminine, sweet smelling, God loving (mother of six) wife. I thank my God for engineering my existence. If I were to die in a terrorist attack tomorrow I would not have any regrets for what I have had, even if there was no eternity to look forward to.But I believe that the best is yet to come !! as a footnote..I'm glad my wife doesn't have a hairy chest!!!!

Expulsion, Suspension, Detention, woooohh, I bet that really terrifies some of those kids into submission. The 'fear of the cane' kept myself and many of my schoolmates pretty close to the 'straight and narrow'. Without a fear of consequences there is no fear of judgement and without a fear of judgement there is no fear of consequences.

Hi Cherished Child, I remember you posting when I was 'lurking'.I tend to look on you as my 'Greasespot Elder of the cafe'!! Anyway, there are new 'lurkers', some who have contacted me but still don't feel comfortable posting on GSC yet, in fact some of them are s***-scared of the Waygb. I for one will continue to hold a torch as long as the leadership I know are still actively and aggressively recruiting. I for one was 'over' TWI in about one week, maybe two but I guess everybodies differn't.I enjoyed your posts, bless ya.

Garth, I did not say this situation, incident, was 'devilish' because none of us know the circumstances involved.What I was referring to was 'the push' again of governments to impose 'their will' on 'the majority' of citzens who do not get a say in the matter.'The Push' for example of outlawing a parents right to exercize 'reasonable'discipline of their own children. This particular push comes directly from the United Nations and I don't believe hardly anything good ever comes out of that instituition.And I certainly was not including special need kids(of whom I am very familiar with.)

Now this sort of thing tends to give me the sh**s.In New Zealand and Australia there is a BIG push from time to time by 'the experts'to have smacking of children outlawed. Every now and then a parent using way over the top excessive force is paraded through the media to support their claim that it is abuse. The problem with the attempt to ban any reasonable force used to discipline a child is that these ( i'm sorry but here I go...) limp wristed, handkerchief wringing, sandal wearing, often childless themselves, socialist busybodies also want to make the parents RESPONSILBLE for their childrens' behavior !!!( including legally) I honestly believe this whole scenario is as develish as hell. The average, majority of mainstream parents love their kids to bits and that includes loving them enough to give them a smack on the bum every now and then to help show them what is the norm in society(whatever that friggin means these days). I have newspaper clippings that show the media applauding authorities for banning corporal punishment in schools in New Zealand a few years back and a newspaper clipping from THE SAME PAPER virtually a year later bemoaning the fact of increased violence in schools coupled with record suspensions.Thats right, they just send the kids home for Dad and Mom to deal with, thats right, poor Dad and or Mom who have to plead or beg or 'negotiate' with little Johnny to be a good boy!!

Yeah, very scary, like one lady staying in a 'way home' who occasianly preferred not to eat what had been prepared for dinner(late middle-aged).The woman 'running' the way home once forced her to eat hot chillies whilst yelling and screaming at her(this woman had never been able to stomach even mild chillies). My cousin at one point staying in a 'way home' remembers the country co-ordinator dropping off one of the girls living there sometimes about 2 o'clock in the morning after his wife had earlier been calling to see if he had been around !When my cousin Tre**r pretended to have got up to go to the bathroom and 'bumped into' the both of them the country co-ordinator blurted out "uh er oh uh Chr*****na ran out of petrol(gas) in her car!! BTW,these are recent occurences not things that happened a decade ago.

Selina and I went light bearers in Kalamazoo and hoho relo in Fort Wayne.We met up with Lenny and spent time with Sandra Carver and also the Polios, hope everything panned out well for them all.

The big losers,Serbia,who had fought with the allies AGAINST Germany in the second world war! Just reading Belles' post on her country co-ord under the heading of F.E.A.R. This country co-ord is one of the biggest cowards I know ! When Selina & I left T.W.I.he had told Selinas'brother to get us to meet him at a certain place.Anyway, he never turned up but did go around telling others that he had met up with us and HEAVILY REPROVED us before kicking us out !! Trust me, the guy has major mental and sexual issues and Selinas' brother is not far behind. The reason they want you to just fade into the background is so that they are free to trash you and 'paint their own picture of you'. The reason that this country co-ord can be more vicious in his demeanour is that New Zealand does not have the avenues of suing litigation that the U.S. has. If there were not the restrictions of this litigation in the U.SA. do not think for a minute that T.W.I. leadership would not act in the same way as Mi***l Ad**s !.

Selina and myself 'did a stint' of looking after the 'hearty helpers', 'chosen gems' etc..!in Family 20. We loved it and I must admit we didn't 'tap' the kids for every little thing they did that TWI might not have approved of !! I think our favorite part was pulling them around the campus in the trolleys and helping them look out for their Dads & Moms. Their were some awesome kids and a few 'scallywags', probably the ones now posting here!!! We sometimes chuckle to ourselves thinking of the Wainwrights,Echternauts,Richters,Zeilmans,Chalmers and lest I ever forget,Robert Cassady! AND little AJ!! Fond memories of them all.

From what I read of the 'historical texts'Jesus simply 'got involved'.On his way to fulfilling his destiny he 'threw a spanner in the works' 'interferred' with the accepted cycle of life and death,selfishness,evil etc.. that abounds on this planet.Even with God raising him from the dead it seems that this cycle of life and death has begun to be altered forever.

Hi Nandon,have things changed in TWI ? My post'wolf skins,leopard skins,sheep skins'on page 8 might give you a bit of a clue. New Zealand is only a tiny country in the South Pacific,however,because it is a mixture of strong English and Americanisms and totally surrounded by water a lot of 'world first' experiments have been routinely conducted there. Not that this has anything to do with TWI of course but I believe The Way of New Zealand really is a very good 'microcosm' of TWI International current climate.
