Maybe we were hearing the 'manifestations' in differn't meetings ??Oh, thats right..differnt COUNTRIES !! If it were some of the posters here 'manifesting' that you were referring to I'd quite believe it !

I didn't say there was anything 'wrong' with water baptism, just that I believe that it is no longer necessary, the greater baptism has arrived Ephesians chapter 4 says 'one baptism'..so which one do you want ??!!

Hey Southern Gentleman..my story is pretty much ditto of yours except we did it with 6 children !! Have not felt a need to question majority of what was taught in twi..it is still standing us in great stead today !!

Hi Confused..I'm sure MANY still practise things like 'manifestations' 'believing' etc.. that are no longer with twi..it's just that the majority of those who post here(and there is not really that many) don't. But that is because they have gone Mormon, Catholic etc.. To make it a little more confusing United Pentecostal Church does not believe that God is also Jesus and holy spirit but rather that JESUS is God and Holy Spirit. In other words Jesus is 'head God' so it is really a form of 'trinitarism'.(taken from one of their websites) JW's aren't too bad, but the Mormon church is 'steeped' in spiritualism. Just read Templeladies post in 'doctrinal section'..She claims Hitler can be 'saved' if an LDS was baptised for him, but it would still be up to Hitler(who is currently in the spirit world) to ACCEPT it !!
