  1. Points 1-15 and 18-23 I believe are still very much valid and indeed from a personal point of view and in practical reality are extremely hard to refute.
  2. I have to say (and I know it will rankle a number of posters here) BUT Craigs latest take and expansion on these scriptures is terrific !
  3. The guys got a point..doesn't he ?? look at all the venom spewed at me over 'anti vax' stance...I guess history bears the truth on that one.
  4. I've always been intrigued how Jesus referred to himself as 'the Vine'...when I think of a vine as opposed to a tree a vine moves, creeps, manoeuvres, goes around. Not much can get in its path and when something does, well, the vine just goes around, over or under, relentlessly moving and reaching out. Perhaps this is what Jesus meant when he said the gates of hell shall not prevail against him and the church.
  5. I listen to Craigs teachings off and on and I have to say there are from time to time (imo) fantastically great things in them and even after a considerable amount of time in twi even some 'new light' (for my brain cells anyhoo) I was never at the receiving end of any 'face meltings' only a couple of humorous convos with the guy. Being in Australia I feel distantly safe enough to not get 'drawn into' any 'allegiance' or 'blind following' mentality.
  6. I don't think anyone below trustee level gets much of anything...David and Bonnie Weekly were shipped out to Australia to 'get things moving again' lol...they must be late seventies ? and renting a small apartment...oh but the local 'believers' did rock up and bring a plate of home baked cookies to show appreciation for their 'sacrifice'...so sad.
  7. Neither does it say Adam was "in the midst" ? Adam could have been 251 miles away :)
  8. I'll put it back at you. IF you are a father (I don't know whether you are or not) and to have a beautiful, perfect child who would one day enable you to have an infinite number of same BUT you knew to have this you would also have a son (Adam) who would nearly screw things up...would you still go ahead and have that first child ?? I can only speak for myself and say YES !! As for Rafs question of WHY place the tree of knowledge of good and evil smack bang in the 'midst' of the garden ? Well, that just magnifies man's inquisitive and disobedient nature...doesn't it. "Here Adam, here's a WHOLE lotta f...ing garden and panoramic sights for you to ENJOY...BUT don't wander over to that hole in the ground 250 miles to the west lest ye fall in and hurt yourself." Where do you think man's eventually going to go ??
  9. I agree ! VP's stuff may not be all 'God breathed' BUT he put it ALL together like no-one else could have or would have...I believe THAT was 'God inspired'. :)
  10. I thought the Bible says in some of it's passages we ARE indeed infantile in our thinking and in other places actually ENCOURAGES infantile thinking...why would that be ?

  12. Actually I believe Timothy is one of the main places Paul confronted 'Gnosticism'....one of their beliefs was that Eve (was the mother of all living), created first and then Adam. They also believed that if women were not 'grounded' to the earth through the Gnostic 'secrets' they risked dying in child birth. 1 Timothy 2:12-15 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
  13. I personally believe one of THE best informed teachings on this topic is Wayne Clapps "Is hell a place of eternal torment".
  14. I believe it's still active, if only on 'life support'
  15. I know ex-wayfers in Australia have been trying to get their hands on the loose million or two in the way's account here in Australia...don't know what happened but insiders have told me it's locked up with the bank and has been for years...maybe that's why the Weekly's have turned up again lol
  16. well I guess the drug companies will come up with 50 vaccines eventually...wonder when they'll start charging for them...wasn't it Waysider who said unlike the 'flu' annual, emerging new strains of covid will have vaccines for it in a timely fashion ??
  17. um, that would fall into the category of 'folly'...I believe lol
  18. Here in Australia the government has been forced (through Senate voting) to enlarge the compensation claims for side effects of the covid 'drug' Government widens vaccine injury compensation scheme to win peace with Gerard Rennick - ABC News
  19. Yes my dear kiddies and grandkiddies...just get jabbed because it will save you from...covid...even though covid doesn't affect you and your own immune system is galloping ahead as you mature. It may also stop you passing on the virus to me and grandma, even though you still will even after your jab. Hopefully it won't affect you further down the track BUT you should still get it even though the 'scientists' and 'medics' are very unsure as to why you need to get it...but, you know, it will just give me such peace of mind...some perspective..pfftt
  20. The article is full of the words may, possibly, plausible, concerning, rivals, misplaced, politics, might, growing evidence, slight risk, sour taste, despite, compounded problem, turbulent, levelling up, off the rails, some support, contrary......does that mean anything to most people who are blindly 'into' the vax' ? Nope...ah well, ignorance is STILL bliss I guess :)
  21. sounds like the covid vax lmao
  22. If it's a genuine, not generic seatbelt, fitted to specs and IF worn correctly...otherwise they can be more dangerous.
