Well said Twinky ! How grating it would be to dwell on their hypocrisy of balling people out whilst doing the dishonourable deeds themselves. Even in our little country, it's putrid double standards pervaded what started out as a warm, cozy fellowship of people that genuinely cared about each other. Talk about sowing the seeds of deception, these guys were sowing their seed like rampant animal herd leaders. This is why R&R will fail, some of the perpetrators running it still without repentance, nay, from what I have heard, excusing what they have done.

I ( personally ) have found 'believing' to work. It's actually believing IN believing...and then taking up the necessary 'works' to hook up to your faith. As a side note, my wife and I were told ( by leadership in the R&R movement ) that when we left the way our kids would grow up to be homos. 20 years later we have 7 grand children

I agree Sky rider, sleaze and hypocrisy written into their DNA, with big boss man mentality ( waiting in the wings ) I predict there will be an announcement within a year concerning who is the head honcho. Will be interesting to see who will be the apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, evangelists. Most of the ones I know in there, forfeited their ministerial rights and privileges before God Almighty YEARS ago.

Some random thoughts...I remember one time at Indiana campus, LCM visiting and sharing stuff. he was speaking and then paused to pull his sleeve up a bit and reveal a type of jade or sapphire bracelet ( as if showing it off ) I felt nauseous to the point of nearly passing out. I believe it was spiritual, his air of pride and arrogance. I spoke to rev. WGC about it years later and he had had the same experience. Concerning R&R, if it EVER took off seriously, it would go the same way as twi. Not in size but in abuse and sexual deviance. How do I know ? because I know of past actions of some of it's 'leaders'. As Dr. Phil says, past history is a pointer of a persons future behaviour.

I'm with Galen on this one ! TWI had a number of coined phrases such as 'don't tell all that you know' that reinforced the concept of not telling the whole truth and of course not telling the 'whole' truth morphed into some kind of hazy line between fact and fiction ! ( Pharaoh after Abrahams wife was the justification for this one ). There were many more, I just can't think off the top of my head atm.

Well, here in Australia #metoo has begun to morph into women hating on women ! examples, attempts to ban cheerleaders, boxing round placard bearing girls in bikinis, formula one grid girls etc....appears to be more motivated by that green eyed monster ? I thought 'feminism' was about a womans right to choose ?...as a side note...I wonder if women were hit on by handsome men like Chris Hemsworth, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, would they be complaining ??

Taxidev, as someone who has a bro-in-law directly involved in leadership and the COUNTLESS wrongs he has done to my family and I and others ( including a number of women..I think you get the drift ) I will let you know when we get an apology from him and his wife ! That might tell me something about this r & r group and their motives. That it's taken them 20 years to jump ship ( After the LCM fiasco speaks volumes to me. I personally do not really lay a finger of blame at those who were/ still are, involved with twi who were grass level, twig turner upper, help others get saved type of believers BUT there IS NO justification for them who were/still are in leadership positions who turned a blind eye to the insidious bs going on in that vile place. This is interesting because I recently looked into a bit of geographical AND botanical background about the ' tares' Jesus referred to when he mentioned about the tares and wheat growing together until ' harvest' lest the wheat ( God's people ) be uprooted along with the tares. The question of course is WHO or WHAT are the ' tares' ? The tares are of course another name for ' weeds'....but here's what I thought was interesting...in the Palestine area one of the most common weeds is the ' lolium temuletum' or ' bearded darnell'. The bearded darnell is a species of rye grass that so closely resembles wheat that it can only be differentiated ONCE the wheat has reached maturity ! Also, this bearded darnell contains a soporific poison that if ingested causes a stupor or almost hypnotic, sleepy effect to the victim !! Any thoughts on who or what the tares are ? My guess is the ' pc' brigade, but what say you ? ( maybe this shoulda been posted in the doctrinal section but when I read about these posts ala 'brain trips' couldn't help myself lol )

Interesting topic as here in Australia debate still rages on about a programme in schools called ' safe schools' programme. It started out as anti bullying in schools against lgbtq etc... but has ended up being caught out as a 'cover' for PROMOTING lgbtq etc...I guess everyone has their own agenda or cause in life. On television only last week two prominent Australian doctors srecialising in gender dysmorphia ( an unhappiness with ones gender ) stated in all their many years of dealing with pre- pubescent children who the parents thought were suffering from gender dysmorphia less than 10 percent still felt that way once they had gone through puberty...these under 10 percent teens went on to become gay. The media as always lead the general public to think it's more like 50/50 !!
