  1. Is this by any chance a love song?
  2. Looking at the date stamp, it would appear to be a reference to the upcoming August. TWI years start in August.
  3. There's a thread somewhere that poses this very question. Darned if I know how to find it, though.
  4. Bishop K.C. Pillai (pg. 127) Oh, you know, that guy who lived thousands of years later in...India.
  5. When you consider the irony in this, it's almost comical in a perversely twisted way. Want something from God? Follow a complicated formula. Make sure to cross every T and dot every I. Want something from Satan? No problem. Just think it. It's yours. You want to know what killed that little boy? He spun 'round and 'round trying to make sense of it all and fell over dead from dizziness.
  6. Ok, I read it. Am I really expected to accept this as an authoritive source? It's Wierwille's private interpretation of what he thought it meant. No more, no less.
  7. Oh, God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son" Abe say, "Man, you must be puttin' me on" God say, "No", Abe say, "What?" God say, "You can do what you want Abe But the next time you see me comin', you better run "Well", Abe said, "Where you want this killin' done?" God said, "Out on Highway 61"
  8. Well, I don't know about that. Heh Burton was the first limb leader for Ohio and the first Ohio FellowLaborers director. I read some sort of thing he wrote about it that was kind of like a high school term paper, complete with scripture references. If I remember correctly (and I'm not certain I do) I think he presented it at some HQ function, such as AC or Summer School or something along those lines.
  9. The giant wall/bubble idea is something Earl Burton brought into the mix. I don't remember any specifics. I know. I know. It was only 50 years ago. I should remember this stuff. It was in a class or an AC teaching or a paper or something.
  10. Is it To Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan?
  11. It was too late. She already got a free shot.
  12. I can't explain how electrons move from the light switch to the bulb. What should I surmise?
  13. There are other, more ambiguous ways to state it, such as, "It says in verse such and such..." or "according to what's written ...".
