  1. Wasway-------Don't forget to give her your brand. T. Strange----One of my favorites too.(Even though it has no bongos ) NEXT!!!
  2. Pssst--------Don't drink the milk. It's spoiled!
  3. Friends---------( Ya gotta have 'em) At least that's what The Divine Miss M (Bette Mittler) says. Above the hills, higher than eagles we're gliding Suspended in the sky Over the hill, straight for the sun we were riding. My eyes filled with light behind those black walls. Below was a bottomless canyon. Floating with no sound, ghosts far below seemed to be suddenly rising, exploding all around.
  4. Thank you for the friendly advise, Wasway. :)
  5. Some friends of mine wanted to bet me they knew this one. HMMMMM------To bet or not to bet.
  6. HMMMM!-------Could those 's be some sort of clue?
  7. NLL-------Many years ago I had a friend who talked frequently about suicide.I tried to help him in all sorts of ways. I helped him with housing. I helped him with car problems. I helped him get a job when he got out of the hospital. Yes, I even gave him "the word" as best I knew it. I, too, told him death was not what God wanted for him. Ultimately, though, the decision was his alone to make and he chose to end his own life. I was the one who found him. For a long time I asked myself all sorts of questions like: "What if I had said this?' or "What if I had done that?"or "Why didn't other people try to help more than they did?" It is difficult to absolve ourselves of blame. Much like a scar that becomes less and less noticable with passing time, the emotional scar will fade somewhat also with passing time but never completely disappear. Don't be too hard on yourself or others who may have known what was going on. There is likely not much you could have done to change the outcome short of possibly delaying the inevidable. You will have good days, you will have bad days and you will have some days that seem like a bad dream. Through it all, God will be right there with you if for nothing else, to lend an understanding ear. Dn't be afraid to let others help you. It helps THEM to help YOU. Praying for you.

I just got my copy of BLUES REVUE and thought this might be of some interest. They are having a free drawing to give away an autographed Buddy Guy Strat. You can enter online at www.bluesrevue.com. Scroll down to the picture of Johnny Lang and click. The odds are probably somewhere in outer space but it's free and somebody has to win.
  10. I listened to this one at work the other day. I'm going to step aside and let someone else in on it.
  11. For yea verily, it came to pass in a time long forgotten and in a place never seen by many that a gathering of upstarts from the tribe of ---------Firesign Theater----- did indeed climb aboard a wonderous time machine and travel into the future. Those who have ears to hear can still,to this very day, hear them proclaim for all the world to hear:"I Think We're All Bozos On this Bus." And so here I humbly remain,still--------Waiting For The Electrician(Or Someone Like Him) Sincerely George Tirebiter
  12. Borat I can only text so the next one is up for grabs(Provided my guess is correct.)
  13. The price you paid for your riches and fame Was it all a strange game? You're a little insane. The money that came and the public acclaim Don't forget what you are. I'll be away today. If you get it go ahead and post. Bonus clue: Not all guitars have six strings!
  14. I Ain't Missing You-------(No matter WHAT you say!) John Waite
  15. My Dear Mr. Bailey I must confess, I was put up to that post by my dear friends Porgy Tirebiter and Mudhead. They are both students (like me!) at More Science High School. My post must remain short as I am running somewhat late for the school pep rally where Principal Poop will be the featured speaker. The theme of the rally is "shoes for industry/shoes for the dead." We all have plenty of school spirit.(I keep mine in the rumble seat.) Well, I'm late for my philatilist club meeting and I haven't yet finished helping Porcelain, the upstairs maid, make the bed. As to the viability of your time machine I must pose the following question: "How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?" And now I must repair to my place of residence---------firesigntheater.com Sincerely Nick Danger, Private Eye
  16. "anyone named Catheter should go away" Yes,friends, now you really CAN go away in a brand new Bailey Time Machine. It's been fully factory air conditioned in our fully air conditioned factory. Complete with chrome fender dents and an edible steerng column. Now let's take a look inside your new home, shall we? Sincerely, Ralph Spoilsport (Ralph Spoilsport Motors)------------Firesign Theater
  17. I Love(hic!) Lucy. Somebody take my turn.(that's not a clue.)
  18. CHA CHA CHA CHATTY Thank you for the lovely sentiment but would you kindly now post a clue? ( I have no idea at all on this one)
  19. It looks like an epileptic seizure waiting to happen. I'm not joking!
  20. Bluzeman---------- Please don't take this "personally"! Put your sweet lips a little closer to the phone. Let's pretend that we're together all alone. I'll tell the man to turn the jukebox way down low. And you can tell the friend there with you-------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ "He'll Have To Go"----------Jim Reeves/1960 Same song covered many, many times by all sorts of artists. NEXT!!
  21. Wasway & Bluzeman---------Elton John did indeed cover this tune. It was originally popularized by a "cross-over" country artist. That's what makes this a great tune; it can't be confined to one genre. To demonstrate this, note that it has also been covered by Elvis, Nat King Cole, Roxy Music, Ry cooder and on and on. I think you know the tune, now we just need the name of the artist that made it a hit.
  22. In addition to that, in the OT when there was no "Christ in you" God placed spirit "on" peple with whom He needed to communicate. I think that must still be available.(sorry for the buzzword) Holy hugs to ya, Roy
  23. Roy-------This is a bit off topic. I think I may know where you are going with the idea of "smelling in tongues, tasting in tongues,etc.". I won't throw in a bunch of scriptures because that would be more appropriately done in the doctrinal section. If it truly is "Christ in you" is it possible he can communicate with us through our 5 senses? I'll use smell and taste as an example. Suppose something I was about to eat was dangerously unfit for consumption. The Christ in you has a much keener sense of smell and taste and therefore may alert you to danger than was hidden from you otherwise. Back to topic now : TWI doctrine is that the more you SIT the more receptive you are. Sort of like some kind of reward. I'm not questioning SIT, merely posing this question: Does God only speak to those who SIT? If that is the case He would have to be playing favorites. I don't think God does that.
