The Word doesn't say anything about the canon. If it did, you would have told us what it says a long time ago.

Mike That's straight out of PFAL. (Session #5? I don't know. I'm an old grad who probably wasn't paying attention.) "STAND!...something, something, something." Well, I'd like to add to that by saying "Don't look down!" You might find you're standing in something that's, eh, how do I say this?, not the most desirable thing to stand in.

HERE is an interesting youtube from the "Who Wrote The Bible?" series that deals with the origin and chronology of the gospels. The episodes that precede it deal with the old testament, while the episodes that follow it deal with the epistles, as well as Daniel and Revelation.

Here are the 2 statements you made that seem to conflict: *God did not intervene to help make the KJV happen. *He had his hand on the process all along. No. I meant to say that Matthew is sourced from Mark and Luke, Mark being the first written, along with another source which has since been lost.

These two statements appear to conflict. I'm sure you must also be aware that Paul died before the Gospels came into being and that Mark was the first one written. Matthew and Luke are sourced from the information in Matthew. *(Bolding added.)

Does this include the biblical canon and the significance of its specific order?

Boy, howdy. I'll tell you what really WAS absorbed, though... those lipstick stains. There's a secret way to get rid of them that most people don't know because they either weren't paying attention or didn't study their instructor's manual the way they should have. It's all in there. You just have to read between the lines. That manual is just packed with hidden gems, waiting for the meek to unearth them.

I try to stay on Mike's good side because I figure, if and when he gets his class together (I'm believing for a film class.), he might let me be in charge of refreshments. I can stretch coffee with the best of them and make those old foam cups look almost new. I have a secret way of making lipstick stains barely noticeable. Or, I could string some chairs, unless I've forgotten how to do it. I probably wasn't paying close enough attention to the fine details of the process like I should have the first time around. There's a lot of nuance that gets lost on us old grads as time catches up with us. That's why we have to come back to the guiding oversight of those who have mastered the process.

In an effort to demonstrate the Universe revolves around Earth, The Way International has announced its own space exploration program. The first venture will involve a crew of four, departing on a voyage to the Sun. To avoid burning up, they will be making the trip at night. (The capsule has been christened Four Crispified.)

Can you do that? I mean, if it came from God, it belongs to everyone.

Some might say there were leaders who were "Lude fellows of the baser sort"

It's a good thing it wasn't a film class; she looks too young to know about splicing.

I wonder if she reused her own styrofoam cups.

Meh. It's not my intention to eat this muffin sitting in front of me, either. Oh, who am I kidding? Of course it is. And then I'll shout from the rooftops how delicious it is. But, all the SMART people probably already know that. Yum! Lemon poppy seed!

Silly question: If you can't go beyond what you're taught, what's the point of doing Biblical research?

He wasn't absent 'cause he was in Mary's belly, just floatin' 'round, havin' a good old time..

What?? God is Jesus's daddy? This must be the greatest secret in the world today. I'll bet this would be a real stumper on Jeopardy!
