Actually, it wasn't swept, cleaned, etc. (in the physical sense) when The Way took occupancy. We went there with Fellow Laborers to do cleaning and scrubbing. It was like the ancient city of Pompei, where people fled in mid-meal to escape the oncoming fury of an erupting Vesuvius. I remember the pond being completely neglected and overrun with thousands and thousands of Painted Turtles.

Here's something else to consider. When the previous owners vacated the property, they left much of their work in it's current state. For instance, the first time I was there, there was a room or rooms full of herbs and teas that were being hung to dry. It gave the impression that the workers had not finished and were planning to return. Things like that can play tricks on the sub-conscious. (Yes, I know Wierwille taught that the sub-conscious does not exist.)

I was only there a couple of times, but, I recall there were mineral springs on the property. They gave off foul smelling gases. The sense of smell has a way of stirring up old memories and emotions, even on a subconscious level. Perhaps these odors triggered a response to some unpleasant occurrences in the past.

"if your in a high profile position and need body gaurds go for it." He didn't need bodyguards because he was in a high profile position, he needed them for protection against the many people he had wronged. Do yourself a favor and read Losing The Way. -

The one who REALLY needed his azz kicked was VP. I suspect he knew that someone was likely to try. That's why he surrounded himself with armed thugs and was known to dispatch goons to quiet any opposition, -
That's Sue Lyon, one of Donovan's old flames. She is best known for her portrayal of Lolita

I wonder if it has anything to do with GSC's anniversary.

It's the same thing as a mandatory donation. United Way is famous for it. I'm sure they must have explored all the legal aspects of it by now or they wouldn't continue the practice. My personal opinion Serve your time FIRST. THEN raise your objections.

So,then, during your two stints as a WOW and one stint as a WD, you never encountered the term "empties floating by"? Saying that people are inferior to you is no different than saying you are superior to them. -
I don't get it, either. But, I do like .

Straight out of the AC syllabus, page 21 or so. (1971) paraphrased, of course. -
Yes, and none of which should necessarily negate its value.
