  1. You have captured the essence of Way Theology. Well done.
  2. If I believe hard enough, will the law of believing become real?
  3. Mike, you used a Firesign Theatre skit here when you referenced Hemlock Stone. Are you aware that a real Hemlock Stone exists and that it's not just a simple twisting of the name Sherlock Holmes for humorous effect? Well, maybe you are and maybe you aren't. Are you comparing GSC posters to a historic landmark or to a fictional character of Firesign Theatre design?
  4. Hey, listen. If the King James was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me.
  5. Like I said, you don't have the slightest clue.
  6. Except that it really is the point. You have no idea whether or not the claims are verifiable. You also have no idea what my "theology" is.
  7. Of course. Windows seem to get dirty whenever the questions get too hard to answer.
  8. Except for adultery. Clearly there's a difference there. /s
  9. Well, that settles it. It must be true because there was a tape.
  10. Verbal communication is what drove the ministry. Why even have teachings at twig meetings if all that was needed was to read the written materials?
  11. Just a bit of a tangential observation: Excellor sessions fall in the category of TVTs.
  12. He may have been napping during that "Christ in you, the hope of glory!" session and the "Now, then, we are ambassadors for Christ" session.
  13. Which is why you have no business pretending to have cornered the market on interpreting the complexities of scripture.
  14. And, yet, this is precisely what you are doing in this very post.
  15. Are you talking about infinitives, which are sometimes called the "to be" or "dictionary" form? Learning to use/conjugate them properly can be one of the most challenging aspects of learning a language. In fact, some languages even change the word completely, with the conjugation built in automatically. Cultural differences and etymology also play an important role in proper understanding Not surprisingly, it's also one of the reasons amateur "word studies" and word-for-word translations are somewhat of a fool's folly. Are you saying that God, who has supposedly made things "so simple even a fool need not err therein" has resorted to intentional ambiguity? That seems a bit devious for someone's who's depicted as being all benevolent. Wouldn't you agree?
  16. Yeah, that's kinda what the postcard is implying.
  17. You didn't answer my question. Why am I not surprised?
  18. I have neither the resources nor the desire to listen to a tape from almost 60 years ago. Please expound on what it said that led you to this conclusion.
  19. Yeah, sure. It's totally my fault for not telling you to follow the bouncing ball.
  20. I'm gonna take a wild guess here. Is it because they're undocumented and bogus?
  21. Marsha, Marsha, bo-bar-sha Bo-na-na fanna, fo-far-sha Fee-fi-mo-ar-sha Marsha Isn't that wuuuuunderful!?
