  1. If they're gonna break THOSE laws, why not just go all out and break The Mann Act of 1910 like Grand-Daddy VPP did?
  2. Mississippi (point A) Code 63-3-1109 Solicitation of rides by pedestrians. No person shall stand in a roadway for the purpose of soliciting a ride from the driver of any private vehicle. ---------------------------------------------------- New Mexico (point B) Code 66-7-340 Pedestrians soliciting rides or business. No person shall stand in a roadway for the purpose of soliciting a ride, employment or business from the occupant of any vehicle. SOURCE
  3. John, this stuff shows up on my FB page. Personally, I have no desire to discuss alternative uses for fig pep.
  4. Sure, but, CFF is not SOWERS. Intertwined with common relationships but independent of each other. I can remember when General motors came out with a car called NOVA. It was an acronym. N=Nova (Chevy) O=Omega (Oldsmobile) V=Ventura (Pontiac) A=Apollo (Buick) Same basic car but, minor differences in headlights, grills, etc. That's how I see the relationship between TWI and SOWERS. Minor cosmetic differences but, the same basic vehicle with VPW serving as the common powertrain for both. Side note: In Spanish, "no va" means "it doesn't go". It's no surprise it flopped in Mexico. Maybe SOWERS will flop, too, when the participants finally realize it's nothing more than a dressed up clone of a corrupt and evil organization. (It doesn't go.) Edit: According to SNOPES, the "no go" anecdote is an urban legend. So, I apologize for that bit of misleading information. However, I still think it's only a matter of time before SOWERS starts to see the inherent problems associated with the TWI programs they're cloning.
  5. ....or maybe they're silent partners, colluding to keeping the MLM cash cow alive?
  6. Another perfect example of someone hell-bent on keeping the torch lit.
  7. The Letter....Boxtops ........................... Come gather 'round people, wherever you roam.
  8. You make a good point... What did it really accomplish? (Aside from creating an illusion that any of it made a difference.)

    Cheapness

Maybe CG was thinking no one would ever get past the first 7,300 pages or something, ya know?

    Cheapness

I'm not sure how anyone can read The Passing of the Patriarch (AKA: The Poop Paper) and still believe any of this stuff was ever real. Come to think of it, I'm not sure how anyone can read The Poop Paper in its entirety....period
  11. No More Mr. Nice Guy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QadtkT8fVw I can't wait forever, even though you want me to.
  12. Maybe V2P2 should check out one on youtube.
  13. Wierwille was very much aware of what was going on with the LEAD program. He knew that lives were being devastated and destroyed but, he let the program continue. This is the same guy who boasted of "reaching up in Daddy's cookie jar" and "listening to that small still voice". He was a charlatan, a quack, a con man. Still, there are people who continue to promote him as some sort of spiritual guru. Shame on them.
  14. Maybe that's because, with each passing year, the list of cuckold husbands and dishonored fathers grew larger and larger.
  15. In the early 1970s, there was a two or three page tutorial of sorts, sent out by HQ, that had instructions for running branch meetings and such. It was filled with priceless gems of wisdom, things like "Don't pick your seat.".hahaha! I'm not kidding. You can't make that kind of stuff up. I wish I still had a copy. I'd use it to *pick my seat*.
  16. Long ago, on a far away planet, I played in bands and worked for theatrical companies. So, I do understand the importance of proper staging and setup. This stuff, though, was just Wackoville. It served no real purpose other than to exert control over the participants. To think it was some kind of exercise in developing "spiritual awareness" is ludicrous and delusional.
  17. He got the context stuff from Bullinger. He either didn't understand it or ignored its meaning in favor of his own interpretation. Otherwise, he never would have taught John 10:10 out of context in session one, thus distorting its intended message.
  18. Passed down to the next available trash hauler, in my opinion. What to eat, what to drink, what your poop is supposed to look like.... What the hell was wrong with us that we thought there was something profound in all this junk?
  19. I see people on facebook, etc. talking about the importance of keeping alive, not just the contents of PFAL, but, the various practices we followed, such as what we ate, what we drank, what we sang, the cleanse.....whatever . Moon Pies for everyone!
  20. Mum's the word. You secret's safe with me. (Kinda like that vow I took to never talk about "the secret initiation into the inner sanctum"....OOPS!)
