  1. That's mighty noble of you, Oakspear. :) you think this is abuse? me posting an opinion? goodness gracious. cretins? ouch!
  2. Cheer up Tom Never forget that it's the stones in the brook that make it sing... :)
  3. People love it. Have you seen the thread count lately?
  4. Oh ok, it wasn't Rascal that allowed herself to get pregnant. Blame the male ... yeah, it was the males fault. Heck, I should have already realized she was probably coerced into it anyway. Had to be ... Belle, you took me off of ignore?
  5. Rascal, I simply don't believe it when you say you were forced to have an abortion. You had a choice, and you chose to sign the consent form. Yet you accept no responsibility for that action, and simultaneously, blame twi's corp program to boot. You had a choice to leave the corps if you wanted, and have your baby. You opted not to. And yet you still blame twi? egads.. I'm sick of hearing this sob story. You are constantly playing the finger-pointing, helpless victim. Regarding calling you a liar ... when I disagree with your post I am entitled to say so, and why. I'm also entitled to state my opinion that you are communicating horseradish. People are entitled to have opinions that differ from yours. If you don't like that, that's too bad ... but varying opinions is what makes Greasespot Cafe a great place to be. And thanks to Lindyhopper for letting me say all this on his thread. :)
  6. The amount of ministering a person did in twi was based upon the commitment and mindset of the individual making the decision. I've seen the variations in twi ... here are two examples: the "spiritual hitchhiker", those who are constantly feeding off of others, and the "minister", those who feed others. It's all about who we were as individuals, and what kind of commitment we made.
  7. Mo, if you are no longer causing divisions and annoyances you may be eligible for reinstatement.
  8. Oh Frac Lindy I'm surpised some folks apparently believe Rascals's ***, but hey, that's a privilege. Thanks for letting me post on your thread, bro.
  9. It was either that, or instant dismissal. I believe twi treated corps women who got themselves pregnant very well... they gave them a choice. Sorry to disappoint you doojable. But Rascal is portraying her situation so dire, so consequential, as to suggest that her life would have been in extreme peril, God's hand of protection and blessing removed from her, perhaps even dying an instant death ... if she decided not to continue her corps commitment; but instead, went home to have her baby. And that was why she was "forced" to get an abortion... And I've been reading this *** for so long, and just wanted to express my opinion about it, again.
  10. My understanding is that anybody can go back, if they want. If one was M&A, one needs to get off the M&A list. Make sense?
  11. Golly, that's interesting about work on a new constitution. My memory could be failing me, but I have no recollection whatever of the 1979 survival stuff. I went out WOW that year (79-80)... perhaps they withheld that stuff from the WOWs?
  12. It is available to prevail, when you freely avail... never mind.
  13. CK, can you share some points on what was taught about prosperity?
  14. Dmiller, I thought exactly the opposite in twi. I thought I and we, all of us, were ministers. We who preach and teach the gospel. We are all ambassadors, ministers, and we didn't need to be ordained to do those things.
  15. We were told that the Illuminati's goal was to implement the Newstates Constitution on July 4, 1976, exactly 200 years after Independence Day of 1776. Another time, I vaguely remember a large poster or something that everyone signed and was to be sent to President Carter, asking God to bless us in the U.S. and keep us free. Was that at PFAL '77?
  16. "the consequences of not completeing the training." It is just simply ludicrous for you to stress that God's hand of blessing and protection would leave someone if they dropped out of the corps. It is utter nonsense and fiction. Folks who dropped out got along fine, and were blessed. Rascal, who do you think you are talking to? do you think we are morons?
  17. You had a choice not to get pregnant, in the first place. You had a choice not to get an abortion, in the second place. You had a choice to drop out and go back at a later time, in the third place. In the fourth place, God, and your brothers and sisters in Christ, would have forgiven you, had you dropped out.
  18. Perhaps they should have made their point a little more colorful by asking "is wife-swapping ok as long as it is fully consensual?)
  19. I agree with your points. ex10 should have been allowed to go back to college without getting hassled. She could have been a twig coordinator and still within the programs guidelines.
