But without VAIN BABBLINGS we'd have so much less to discuss. :P

Many do, some don't. After reviewing some of the material that Raf suggested, it makes a great argument that most modern Jews are descendants of Shem. Some are not, as was suggested by Arthur Koestler. But even Koestler didn't suggest that all modern Jews came from Khazars, but only some. Koestler didn't even suggest that all Ashkenazi Jews came from Khazars, as some may have thought in twi, but only a portion. Dr. Wierwille was wrong when he stated flatly "the Jews are not semitic". He would have been correct had he stated "some Jews are not semitic". ****************** Interestingly, if the Jews fight the Arabs, the Jews can be labelled anti-semitic, since the Arabs are semitic as well. :P All of this is quite interesting stuff and one doesn't have to be a bona fide Nazi to believe it. Quote from information: Here's the website that contains the above quote and a plethora of information about this topic: www.khazaria.com

Raf, can you cite that specific research work here?

:D

Very interesting stuff, What the Hey. ************* This is a true stowray: Years ago, I lent the book to a Jewish friend of mine to read, his name was Irving Halpern, who didn't agree with it except for one chapter in the appendix that he was thoroughly excited about, and agreed with profusely. It is quoted below. It all seemed so hysterical ... that I read this book while in TWI, yet find out years later that this stuff can be real after talking with a friend who's name is referenced. Talk about interesting stuff!

They have a lot more and a lot differing information than "it didn't happen". You obviously haven't read some of their stuff, so I see why you might think it's nonsense.
-
If you believe they have an agenda, then I can believe the propaganda about the holocaust is agenda driven as well. Be that as it may, you have a point about what all this has to do with the holocaust itself, and I do think there's enough differing information out there to warrant further study and examination on both sides.

That happened at PFAL '77, Ball State University Muncie Indiana, as I recall.

There is such a wide variety of differing information on this topic, I really don't know who to believe. But one thing is certain: we Americans have been shelling out $3-4 billions of loot to the Israeli government year after year, and there seems to be no end in sight. Dr. Wierwille and others believed we should know about the propaganda machines that encourage these yearly displacements of funds, which really is not a bad idea, if you ask me. Craig said without our money, Israel would be firing bagels at their enemies. As I suggested in a previous post, we might do well to dedicate some U.S. land, and transport the state of Israel here to the U.S.... wishful thinking for sure, but heck, we'd save numerous lives and tons of money! Anyway, the Myth of the Six Million wasn't the only book out there to talk about this, there are many more updated volumes. Here's the website that has them: Noontide Press

Just finished Part II and it was great. Thanks Belle.

I could be wrong and I am not an attorney, but to the best of my knowledge the individual posters cannot be held liable, instead the burden is completely upon the website owner. That makes sense, because the website owner is facilitating/controlling all postings so naturally those folks are in complete charge of what gets posted, and therefore completely responsible.

Thanks Belle. I just finished Part I and it was good. I liked it very much.

Belle, you sound great. You have a nice voice. Thanks for sharing. I'm listening to the first interview now and you mentioned about your teaching of "epiluo" as opposed to the ministrys. Could you share what your teaching was and how it differed from twi's?

George, the Apostle Paul said himself that if our hope in Christ is for this life only, we are pitiful. The thing is, a person that has no hope is pitiful already. We, all of us, have nothing without Christ, and are in deep doo doo if Christ is a myth.

Did stopping tithing make it worse for you, or better?
oldiesman replied to Eagle's topic in About The Way
Without all the fanciful life-threatening dramatics of the unspeakable fears and unbearable horrors of not tithing, my experience was about the same; although it took me only about 2 weeks to get over it. -
Why not give some examples, you haven't offered any.

Was he spoken to recently that we know of?
-
Sure, here is his phone number: Just kidding. I really don't know, but I assume he can be found if someone really wanted to. Since you knew Donna, maybe you can call hq first and ask to speak with her, or ask her to forward a message to him, or else ask someone else in the Way of the USA to forward your message to him, if they know where he is? Perhaps you can write a letter to the Way of the USA asking if it's possible to forward a letter to Craig? I have no idea, I'm just throwing out suggestions.

Did The Way Int'l REALLY promote biblical research?

No problem, I am not offended... :) -
Did The Way Int'l REALLY promote biblical research?

I got some of the same answers myself and I tried that concept, and when I proved it to myself that it didn't work (tithing), as taught by Dr. Wierwille, I no longer applied it in my life. That part of his teaching was error, to me. But I have no complaints about it now, because I tried it and eliminated the concept when it didn't work for me. -
Depends on what behavior you are talking about. His godly behavior that produced real fruit seems like it would agree with PFAL. On the other hand I can't find anything in PFAL that would condone adultery, heck that may have been surmised by some, but wasn't taught in PFAL. He should have made an emphasis of it in Christian Family & Sex. One man, one woman just wasn't enough, obviously.
-
And if someone believed what was taught, yeah, that was probably the case. You believed it, so what is the problem? You allowed it in your life. Pretty hard to blame someone else for that isn't it? You or I could have walked away anytime. Sometimes I did. At varying points in my twi stint, I didn't go to twig for months at a time...

Since nobody that we know of has confronted Craig lately maybe he isn't filled with all the rage he's supposed to have. This big bad monster you portray him as may not be at all.

Coolwaters, anytime you want to discuss a matter or ask me questions about my life, or just chat, I'll be happy to converse with you privately in a PM. That may be true but that has nothing to do with me, or me stating my opinions on this forum. Maybe, maybe not. Women said no to Craig as well, so that could have been available in other instances as well. Depends on the facts. I also think some women could have wanted to have sex with him. Enjoyed it even. Depends on the facts in the situation. Statements such as these is why I have unbelief with some statements that are posted. It is such a blanket one-size-fits-all accusation, about a whole group of people and their supposed experiences many of which you have no knowledge of, that it is unbelievable on its face. Your theory is based on no facts, just fiction. Why even surmise it?

Will these cheap shots never cease?
