  1. Goey, you are correct. Folks who perpetually condemn Wierwille for his misdeeds, can, and do, function mentally. Thanks."TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  2. Sure it does. I am not a proponent of wound addiction and nobody has to let Wierwille's misdeeds (or anyone else's) influence their life and have so much power over them that they can't function without mentioning it endlessly. That's why the bible mentions forgiveness and other goodies. "TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  3. Rev. Craig MartindaleFebruary 1990 Were the folks who were marked and avoided gangrene? Well no, they were (and are) still children of God; I guess the point he was trying to make is, if you're going to think of Craig as a #1 screw up jerk who's blown it so bad that things'll never change, perhaps its best you go fellowship somewhere else. Why folks continue to complain about it when Craig was giving them their leave and freeing them from the evil twi, is beyond me. If you think twi is/was so bad, go...leave...good bye. That's all mark and avoid is. Seems pretty reasonable to folks who everlastingly whine and complain. There's ur out. "TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  4. Houseisarockin That's a good question, and never heard of them doing that. On the flip side, I never heard of them NOT doing that. For all I know, Craig could be in fellowship with God right now, and Dr asked for forgiveness on his death bed. It's possible, isn't it? Who's to say what's in the heart of a man, especially on his death bed. There's some opinion in The Cult That Snapped that he was sorry, or felt sorry, as an observation by one of the women who knew of his misdeeds. Who knows?"TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  5. Thanks for mentioning this Johniam. What was it someone once said "do not feed the monster"? I think it was Hope R. Anyway, I think that's good advice. Some posters don't like what we post, respond with questions, comments and insults (thereby accentuating, feeding, the apparent distraction), whatever, then blame us for distracting and posting on things that "aren't the point". Ok whateva... Btw, thanks for your support."TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  6. Goey, you are correct. I can't speak for everyone at TWI so it's possible there were, or are, some racists in there. Thanks. "TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  7. Raf, good postings. "TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  8. Zix I wouldn't call it admiration any more. On the other hand, I do not dismiss his godly works that helped folks gain a better understanding of God and the bible. Agreed. That's overkill. I doubt that very seriously. In fact, I think most folks don't really take me seriously and just see my posts as what they are, as varying opinions from someone who doesn't see it the way they do. If perchance someone takes my opinions to heart and gets bummed out, they shouldn't. Don't blame me for wanting to express an opinion that you might disagree with. I think you're taking this too seriously. But feel free to express your opinions, and I'll keep expressing mine. Hopefully we can learn some things from each other. Thanks for your opinions, and thanks for that magnificent statement. I need to do some work now that might have me busy for awhile, so if I don't respond to some posters, I'm not ignoring anyone, just busy. "TWI has now power over you except that which your actions allow."
  9. Thanks Wordwolf. I removed the author's name at his request; but it still sits there, like a diamond, in all its magnificent glory. It's simple, yet deep. Brilliant. "TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  10. Garth, ol buddy, friend, and pal, can you show me how to add that quote to the bottom of my posts, without me having to type it every time? "TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  11. Zix, I will be happy to take your name off and apologize for my presumptuousness. But, I cannot, in good conscience, add or change any words. It's brilliant, just the way it is. "TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow."
  12. Yeah but what I'm doing is not plagiarism cause I'm citing who said it first, right? TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  13. "TWI HAS NO POWER OVER YOU EXCEPT THAT WHICH YOUR ACTIONS ALLOW."
  14. Wordwolf I don't know if Zixar endorses the use of his quote for the bottom of my posts. I didn't ask. But if he wants me not to use it, I'll just add a few words, and adapt his quote but it'll then be my quote. But I just can't believe Zixar would ask me not to use his quote -- it's brilliant! But I will adapt it and remove his name if he desires.TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  15. Obviously not, cause they didn't have full use of their mental faculties at that time. TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  16. Wordwolf It's a brilliant statement, isn't it? Obviously from a very logical, thoughtful and honest mind. It pretty much sums up what I feel. Sorry if you don't agree.TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  17. Goey No need to be sarcastic if you're asking me an honest question. I think the way you're framing the entire episode, I'd say no, she's not just as culpable. Culpable, yes, because I assume she has the intelligence and heart to know that having sex with a married man is wrong. That's why gals said no. But I simply don't buy the helpless, mindless victim propaganda so espoused by certain posters. Sorry. TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  18. Houseisarockin Actually, I saw nothing of the kind. I'm just giving assent to some statements I've read, on the internet and in The Cult That Snapped. I do accept certain viewpoints, but to be honest, I don't believe everything I read. If you do, that's your choice. Some folks think because I don't, that's akin to calling them liars. But this is a forum about opinions and perspectives, not truth. Similarly, I don't expect everyone to believe all my perspectives, and everything I say. That's all part of the participation.TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  19. Danny I am. The folks I knew who were corps weren't mindless helpless co-dependent dysfunctional idiots. I wouldn't put you and others down like that. TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  20. Goey, ha ha ... you got me there... ok there are some Christians who are racists, but we in TWI weren't among them... TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  21. Insurgent, i did see them they did exist. Geeze, one of the best men of God I knew, Ken Barden (black), married Evelyn (white). And they were both corps. If Victor Paul was a white Supremacist, why did he allow Ken in the Corps? Your false accusations against Mr. Wilerwille are stinky.TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  22. Zix, if you've been reading my writings, I said children are not responsible for their actions. Goodness gracious. TWI has no power over you except that which your actions allow. -Zixar
  23. Goey, you're correct, I never knew a Mr. Wilerwille.
  24. So, you're resorting to the tactics of your friends...with namecalling, eh? That's it, throw stones like your friends do, keep throwing them. What happened to love and pray for your enemies?
  25. Well, that's the point I'm making. If it's not to your liking, sorry. Oh by the way, sorry for the distraction. Please feel free to continue with the everlasting condemnation of Victor Paul and the BOT. It means so much to endlessly (like a dripping faucet, drip drip drip drip) warn others about these things.
