I doubt he'd be offended Steve!, because I don't think he's afflicted with the same mental disease as some others who post. :)-->

Steve!, I don't need you to interpret why I say things.

You've got Courage! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Rascal, to quote Judge Milian, who I admire, "I wouldn't believe a word you say if your tongue came notarized."

Would it matter any?You accuse Jonny of painting a rosey picture when all he does is share his experiences and thoughts, and maybe has a little something nice to say. You call me a creep when giving a compliment to Jonny's wife for saying no to Martindale, reading evil into my statement as if I'm attacking someone. My guess is, if some folks wrote some nice things about LCM, you'd only minimize and disparage it, just like you've been doing with others and anyone else who disagrees with your accusative mindset. Yes, it certainly seems like you're making up for being quiet for 20 years. :)-->

Too bad some posters take a simple compliment to Jonny's wife as offensive. I think it just shows how some love to think evil continually.

Me too Jonny. Real nice also to hear that incident involving your wife, who "just said no" and stood on principle.

I can't speak for the twi of today, but back in those oldies but goodies days, PFAL was a bargain. Just do the math. Let's see: you spend $75.00 on PFAL. Take PFAL 10 times (the next 9 times were free.) That's $7.50 per class... I was told that PFAL was once free but because folks were getting it for free, more than too many didn't show. That got VP outraged, which was why he started charging. Makes sense to me. I'd be ****** too if folks say they'd be there and then they don't show. Wouldn't you? Anyway, I think it was a good thing to charge something for PFAL. ( I disagree with $200 though!)

A few days ago a newspaper article said that oil production levels (barrels) are at the same level as when regular gas was at $1.89 a gallon. That means that we should be paying $1.89 a gallon, not $2.33 per gallon. This is all profit and price gouging of the greedy oil companies. Capitalism is not ok when there is price collusion going on. Bush should do something.

What is more interesting is whether Peeler will accept da money.

Jonny, here are the basic steps:1) -- go to www.smileycentral.com and click the blue circle to get free smileys. It will then create a smiley icon on your browser bar that will give you access to all the smileys. 2) -- when the smiley icon is on your browser bar, click it and as you see there will be multiple categories of smileys to choose from. Choose one, then right click on it and choose "copy smiley HTML" 3) -- next, go back on GS Cafe and when you're ready to reply to a post, click reply, then you will see a bar at the top and one of the choices will be "Display Image UBB-CODE". 4) -- Click that and you will see a box there to paste your image URL from smiley central. 5) -- click ok, then when the url is displayed, just take out the two symbols and post the reply.

I would say that God making Adam and Eve is rock-clad proof. If it was in God's plan for humans to be bisexual, not being a big deal what gender one has sex with, wouldn't he have formed humans that way? Going both ways? Seems that'd be logical and proof that bisexuality was planned.

Try it.

I believe because the message of salvation and other spiritual truths were exceedingly important in the grand scheme of things, and were there in twi for folks to believe and accept, and some found that very satisfying and accepted them. But along with that, came hurt and anguish for some others, as you point out. Best answer I can give is that we humans can separate the two, i.e., believe that the good came from God, and the evil came from Satan. God is love and light, but God doesn't stop his love and light because the devil gets to apply darkness and evil in this world. That's obvious. That's why some folks got hurt in twi while others got blessed. The two were happening simultaneously. If anyone has any better answers, I'm listening.

The following is the best explanation I've heard as to why God allows evil to happen: Victor Paul WierwilleExcerpt of Session 6 Power For Abundant Living

If someone asked me that question, I'd explain that God doesn't make people homosexual. I'd explain that God made Adam and Eve, and that way is God's way, but people can and do choose otherwise.Namecalling is out. Gays shouldn't be called dykes and fags, and Christians shouldn't be called bigots and homophobes.

Yes Oakspear that's pretty much the way I see it.I have a theory, perhaps correct but only you and others can tell me. Because you (and others) have been hurt and betrayed by twi, you don't want to even remember those spiritual blessings and all. Might equate to something similar to a marriage that once was a blessing, then sours, then ends in an angry bitter divorce where you just hate your former spouse. Your mind isn't on the marriage you had that was a blessing and all, your mind is on the what a creep your spouse is and you hate their guts. The "good" is meaningless since that's dead and buried in one's mind and all that's left is the evil and you're comfortable thinking that way, you're so sure that's the right way to think. It's a shame because I truly believe that those godly things of twi were blessings from God but because of the evil works of some, those blessings were supplanted by the evil works. It's nothing new, it's been happening and still happens when humans screw up and don't live up to the way we know we should. Most folks don't think of themselves as evil, but my guess is that someone else in the world does, whether justified or not -- all depends on what went down somewhere along the line to sour that relationship.

Wordwolf, I was speaking about spiritual benefits and realities, since twi was once about that....But be that as it may, a fair comparison might be if Oakspear were to buy the same stock over and over and over again for years and years, when he sees there is no profit in it from the first few months. Why buy the same stock? At some point, you say to yourself, "hey, I have to get out. It's not producing anything".

Just a passing couple of questions on your comment David. I assume you were in AA meetings?(1) How many former alcoholics do you think access endless blame to the liquor companies? Can you give a percentage? (2) How many former alcoholics do you think accept personal responsibility for their past drinking? Can you give a percentage?
