There is such a thing as believing in the bible. Check this out by Peter Wade Confession of belief yields receipt of confession. That concept is biblically based and not some fantasy.

I must admit, when I read Ephesians, I feel real real good.

Yes the bible teaches all of these things. You know the verses.

What! Twi taught the only time this existed was in the garden of Eden. Coolwaters what have you and Sunesis been smoking lately? Be careful otherwise you turn into
-
Oh my goodness, in your dreams Sunesis. We were taught in twi that we will always sin, and we cannot perfect the flesh because of the old man nature. We were taught in twi that the renewed mind is the key to power... Not perfection... I wish some folks would abandon the propaganda already.

Cool, I understand perfectly what you're saying. You're saying that twi taught that Christ was absent. Actually, twi taught a couple of things... They taught that as a substitute for the personage of Christ, the word takes his place on earth. They also taught that as a substitute for the personage of Christ, the holy spirit, i.e., Christ in You, the hope of Glory, takes his place on earth. When we walk in the spirit, we are ambassadors, representatives for Christ, here on earth. Christ is not here physically, which he is not. That's what Wierwille was teaching.

He lives, he lives, Christ Jesus lives today, he walks with me and he talks with me, along life's narrow way, he lives, he lives, salvation to impart... you ask me how I know HE LIVES I NOW CAN SPEAK IN TONGUES. Golly Gee. Where'd I learn that song from? Have you seen Christ of the Ozarks

Here's another certainty: HEIL WEEKEND!

Giving to good causes doesn't sound like something The Way would do, even in the good ol days of VPW. It may have been deliberate misinformation, learning. Uh oh. Your days are numbered, learning. Good riddance.

Years ago in a public meeting in New York, I heard V*n*e F*nn*g*n say "maybe Hitler wasn't wrong after all." I thought the statement was repugnant and in very poor taste. But it doesn't make him a nazi.
-

Mell, I've never seen any evidence of same. Some folks like to say he was a nazi but he loved the freedom we enjoyed in this country and wasn't into military dictatorship. From what I know he didn't believe in the holocaust and thought that issue was (and still is) being used for billions of American money earmarked for Israel. But last time I checked, believing all that does not make someone a nazi. It takes a bit more I would say. Nazi's murdered Jews and others. Some of VP's ways were repugnant but he shouldn't be accused of being a murderer. Seems that folks who don't believe in the holocaust are automatically labelled anti-semitic and that's a tactic being used for decades. One step further and they are nazis. To me, it's all namecalling propaganda. One more thought, I wouldn't suggest him a nazi because he's German. That's a no no.

If you buy the iPod make sure to get the extended warranty for 3 years. That way, if the battery fails you get a whole new ipod. You can get a 2 year from Apple itself but the Best Buy extended warranty is a little cheaper and it's for 3 years. I already got one new iPod from Best Buy under the extended warranty...piece of cake.

How could anyone possibly think that I am possessed?

If live in dusty places, here's your obliteration kit: + Don't even need a bible.

Well this keed always thought VP WAS the man of God. I think when he was teaching and preaching, he was living up to that calling. When he was sinning, he wasn't. I know that's too simple an explanation for some. Just my two cents worth. Have a nice day keeedzs.

For all I know it could have been me who wrote that letter, because I remember sometime in the 1970's, I wrote a letter like that. I got a written response back from Bo Reahard (probably have it someplace in my files), wherein Bo said that the information I was seeking was once available, but no longer. He invited me to come to headquarters and he would give me a tour. Thanks Bo!

It wasn't the strictness that really ruined twi, it was the lack of morality. I think most folks can live with rules and regs., as long as they're dispensed in an honest and fair way by folks you can trust.
