I like an the idea of posting recipes. As for the soup...it is cooking now and looks so delicious. I had to call the neighbor for and extra pot and it is still filled to the brim and I do not have the pasta or beans in it yet. The thing about Italians you make a lot, you do not want to run out. I am sending the pot back over to the neighbor full and with bread to feed her family of nine, taking some to my parents w/ bread and feeding my family of five. Wow, the food that keeps on giving. I had to go to be basement to get the big pot that I use when canning things in the fall. It is unbelievable how much this makes. Okay Dooj....... The soup is awesome..and I could still feed my parents and us again. Or perhaps I'll can the rest. Yummy!!!!! Thank You.

The boys love it...... We also have a fart gun. Does just about the same thing. My son friends are always surprised when he brings it out to play. They end rolling all over the ground laughing.....8 yr. olds are so funny.

That describe my husband to a tee! He says if they did all the testing that they do now he probably would have been considered to have A.D.D. He survived childhood and life goes on.......and on........I just thought it was a guy thing. Silly me.

No problem. My husbands Italian..... always have a lot of bread and pasta. But I have never made homemade minestone!

Thanks dooj, the weather here has dropped like a rock and my mother is dealing with a cold. Just in time to make a double batch and send some over to mom and dad. Can't wait to taste it!

Me? No. Come on. Don't be crazy. I know the wrestlers get all the fancy ladies, and the clothes, and the fancy creams and lotions. But my life is good! Really good! I get to wake up every morning, at 5AM, and make some soup! It's the best. I love it. I get to lay in a bed, all by myself, all of my life! That's fantastic! Go. Go away! Read some books!

You both look great, Battleship.....haven't played that one in a long time. Used to play it all the time with my Auntie. There is nothing quite so fun as bowling, you can talk much doing that and learn a lot about someones self esteem. Have a great time next week and keep us posted. :)
