Jumping off from your clue above, I submit: Hector Elizondo The Other Sister Diane Keaton If this is "cheating" and not following the rules of the game, just ignore my post. Otherwise, we're up and running again. Suda

Sweet Exie, To someone who touches the world with her own special magic. Happy Birthday! From her enchanted bubble flower, the fairy blows fragments of fairyland into the mortal world, reminding us that a touch of magic can make any day more beautiful. -Josephine Hope your birthday is magical in every way! Chas, is there a place here with avatars to choose from? Never knew it existed. If so, where is it? Right after joining GSC, Sudo sent me an e-valentine that had my avatar on it. I've always adored cherubs, so asked him to make it my avatar. I had wanted something to do with water, cruising, islands, but couldn't find a picture I really liked, so when I received my valentine from my sweetie, I adopted it instead. Suda

Everybody's doing it, doing it, doing it. Picking their noses and chewing it, chewing it. Thinking it's candy, candy, But it's not. A wee ditty I remember from childhood. We thought it was so naughty. My cousin got a whooping for singing it to the adults. Suda

Smarter and TLB, Wonder if we knew each other in Greenville. I started going to Eddie Coleman's fellowship in 1976, didn't take the class till early 1978, and really started getting involved in May of 1979 after getting my MBA. I remember twin sisters, but no names. Had curly, sandy blond hair, medium height, fun people. The one with the daughter lived out in some apartments and was involved with a food co-op for health foods and bulk items. PM me if you wish, and we can see if our paths crossed. Suda

...between "needs no pants" and "forgets 'em altogether." Happy Birthday! Enjoy your last year of the "Lordy, we're in our Forties" Club, and we'll welcome you into the "Nifty Fifties" Club next year! Have a great day, and enjoy every minute of it. Suda

You know, when he dropped trou, I thought that sponge must have been in his Sponge Bob Square Pants! LOL. So glad he got snooty pants to go along with his snooty pans! One of the "exciting" things about kids moving off to school and needing a "starter" set of kitchen stuff is that you can generously donate the kitchen stuff you'd rather not have, and replace it with good "snooty" kitchen ware. I've been collecting it over the years, and making "starter kits" for my kids. Still love my copper bottom Revere Ware, nothing can replace my cast iron skillets, and have great set of German made kitchen knives. I agree with Cool Chef, if your starting up housekeeping, a good set of knives is a must! RainbowGirl, wish we had the raspberry pie receipe to share with you. It was yummy! Here's a good pie crust recipe for a two 9 inch pans, or a single crust pie with a generous lattice. Sift together: 2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp salt Measure and combine: 2/3 cup of chilled Smart Balance (not lard or shortening, clogs the arteries!) 2 Tbsp. chilled unsalted butter Cut 1/2 of the Smart Balance/butter into the flour mixture with a pastry blender until it has the grain of cornmeal. Cut the remaining half coarsely into the dough until it is pea size. Then, sprinkle the dough with: 4 Tbsp. water Blend water lightly into the dough with fingertips. If needed to hold the ingredients together, add: 1 tsp to 1 Tbsp of water When you can gather the dough up inot a tidy ball, stop handling it. Roll out on floured pastry cloth, using a heavy rolling pin covered with a pastry sock. And Sushi, thanks for bringing your snooty pans and sponges so we could all be treated to your delicious sausage gravy and biscuits. What a treat!

Awesome work, Dooj. My stick figures don't even look like stick figures. But, hey, call on me if you need something organized! Suda

Is there a movie called "Butt" or "But" "Butthole"? Baby coming out backwards is butt first, or breach. The butt of the rifle is shown. Still clueless, as usual. lol. Suda

My result: "You have overcome most brainwashing! " But as I never felt brainwashed, this result does not surprise me. Glad I have my own mind - just wish it were as sharp as it used to be! Took Shifra's test, and only had 4 yeses. Took JavaJane's and had all no's for now, and one yes for twi days. Suda

My daughter got into some stinging nettle while camping in Idaho. As she kept getting re-exposed before treating it, she developed a severe rash that took about 6 weeks to heal after returning home. Aveeno bath is great, or just put oatmeal in a bath, coat the areas that are burned, let it dry out a bit, and it helps dissipate the discomfort. Hope you are feeling better! Suda

At our age, the best we can hope for is to crawl out of bed and glow ever-so-dimly! Sleep in and have a Happy Birthday! Dooj, hope your day is fantabulous in every way! Suda
