Maybe THAT's where God got the idea from ?! lol...on a lighter note the 'other' religious deities and their respective religion were a bit more bizzare and shall we say...unblievable . If my memory serves me correctly, Krishna's skin was blue, buddhas feet were so blessed, everywhere he stepped a lotus flower appeared in full blossom etc... In many, many ways Jesus was an actual fulfilment and to a degree, extension of the old testament written in antiquity. That's not taking into account the whole 'speaking in tongues' thingy either (referred to by some here as vocalization) which I still not agree can be likened to the genuine s.i.t. experience. The above article is very interesting though I must say for a comparative study.

If we hear Kelsey Grammer has been cast in lead role it would be a sure bet it's based on twi !!

What a shame yo'all have never hung around with differn't committed christians for a period of time and seen some real signs, miracles and wonders for yourself ! I personally have had God warn, talk and show me on three differn't occasions over the years that actually SAVED a couple of my childrens lives. People I 'hang with' have had similar experiences. My dad has and my mom also. Somehow I suspect we are not the only ones !! I'm sure when the ears are 'open' and the 'mind' receptive people will hear the voice of God. I'm thankful I was 'taught' many years ago not to dismiss 'first' thoughts as they are 'often' spiritual ones and the next one carnal ! Anyways...have a terrific new year !!

Therin lies the conundrum. If you 'desired' a family but to have 4 beautiful children that you loved to bits (and vice versa) you 'knew' there would be two that would be real 'ratbags' would you still go ahead and have the children ?? Some say YES, others like youself say NO. Personally I'm glad you're not God ! I'm glad I exist, with a promise of eternity with my parents and children and grandchildren to come. I'm glad I have lived to feel what real love is like. I am sad for the Jehovah rejecting nations and it's children that go through so much sorrow and grief so much, but even for them their 'affliction' is but for a moment, compared to eternity.

CES is in a Mess...

Therein lies the conundrum. Gods' Word is perfect, people are not. As in twi, the 'leadership' needs to remember this and even themselves learn it's o.k. to say "sorry, I think we got this or that wrong". Old and new testament saints made mistakes, with Gods' help they often recognized it, made appropriate adjustments and then moved on. I hope CES do the same. Many posters here received salvation and wholeness (initially) from perfect words spoken on the lips of imperfect people. -

Something VP said that has stood me well..." God is big enough to tell you something first, he doesn't need to tell someone to tell you..." ( if'n yer listenin' of course. ) God told me to get my family the hell away from twi and to stay the hell away from ces. -

Yeah...I think if the guy had of had the tattoo on his right thigh and it read 'The Word of God' he might have been a bit more believable !! -

Talk about something that turns PFAL ...

I don't know if anyone mentioned it before but...how come no fossils or skeletons of 'half evolved' animals etc..? If evolution outside of species existed where are the fragments ?? Where are the remains of wolves with frog legs etc..etc.. ?? They have fossils of barnacles, scallops, oysters (clams) that are (supposedly) millions of years old and they still look like the barnacles, scallops and oysters of today. How come such 'rudimentary' life forms never evolved ? Just like numerous finds of trees and shell fossils that have been unearthed and found to be sitting UPRIGHT through (supposedly) tens of thousands of years of sediment ! Are they to be thought of as having fossilised 'over time'. Most finds of course have fossils 'layered' sideways and geologists measure the 'levels of sediment' by layer, but what about the fossils found to have expired and been covered over in a standing position....interesting. -
Pretty much the same thing with the black rail belt on escalators where everyone places their hands !!

Seth children are called the "Children of God,"

Very interesting and insightful Sunesis...this view still has a couple of abnomalies however, one being that the fallen angels must have had the inherent ability to 'reproduce' ? Were they originally created by God with the ability to do so, and why ? The other thing is that there are still people born today that are huge (goliath proportions) Just look at WWF !? (Wrestling) They are still human looking !! -
Do you understand verse 114 of this book?

Hi Roy, the parts that i have read of the 'other' gospels seem to (me) to not flow with the 4 gospels of the new testament.
