  1. When I was younger, people who did that were called RAT FINKS...I think twi is full of RAT FINKS...spit sucking butt kissers, who bow and scrap, currying for brownie points and hoping that nobody finks THEM out for their indiscretions...but of course, that's the price you pay for being in "God's household".
  2. As I've suspected for a long time....there are a lot of really good folks in the rank and file at twi. Their intentions are noble and they mean well...afterall, most of us were in the same place at one time. ...and I certainly understand their point of view...once they've swallowed the basic premise of twi, they have no choice but to have the perspective that they have. Everything spins off the concept that twi teaches the "truth"...and once a person enters the "spiritual realm", they close their minds to opposing views because afterall, it's a "faith" thing donchaknow. Something about "we wrestle not against flesh and blood...blah blah blah" That's why I believe that we here at the GreaseSpot cannot change anyone's mind...THEY have to come to certain conclusions themselves (look at the fruit, hint, hint)...and once they start to smell something "funny", we are here with open arms to help them in their recovery. I recall when I was in twi, there was always an underlying theme that the "world" will try to talk you out of the "word"...WE have become the epitomization of that demonized effort to talk them out of the "word"...Twi uses us as an example of the attack against them from the devil!...the more we point out how twi is an abusive cult, the more they say "see! I told you so"... There's a catch 22 involved here...However, the flaw in twi's attack against people's minds is that they cannot reasonably nor biblically claim that a corporate organization is equal to the spiritual body of Christ. They are successful, to a certain extent, in circling the wagons around their "household of God" concept...but nevertheless...a seperation exists between a man made organization and God. During my many years in twi, I always understood this. I always understood that the potential for twi straying from the truth existed (little did I know at the time just how far they had strayed)...As long as a person understands this and pledges their allegience to God rather than a man made organization...they can be helped.
  3. SafariVista...Thanks for the compliment :) Barts Butt is my way of telling twi what I think of them...
  4. "Followers of the Way International"... Seems like a lifetime ago when I made that claim myself...(I left 18 years ago)... During the time that I have been gone from twi, including the time that I have spent at Waydale and now the GreaseSpot cafe...I have learned many many things. We are all different...different personalities, backgrounds, goals and aspirations, belief systems, interests, capabilities, a wide variety of "cultural and social influences"...and that makes life interesting and rich. Twi goes to great lengths to homogenize people...part of the indoctrination process includes, first "emptying" a person of anything contrary to the group dynamics and then "filling" them up with their "unique" doctrinal and practical blend of self serving theology...the end result is what many of us call "waybrain". As a result, life itself becomes "dumbed down"...everything is black and white...independant thinking is no longer needed. You simply refer to the twi "handbook" or ask a twi leader...individuality becomes squelched and the sweet colors of life are replaced with a gray hue. You need not bother with entertaining new concepts or in challenging yourself with the variety of choices that life offers...nope, it all cut and dried. So...For those of us who have escaped the mental prisons that twi oversees...we speak to those who are still involved with twi...we speak with many different voices and with many different ways of expressing ourselves...but the consistant message is the same: TWI IS A CULT THAT ABUSES PEOPLE...GET OUT NOW! This website is an amazing opprotunity for people to get the "other side" of the story...when I left twi, there was no GreaseSpot cafe or anything else like it. I had to figure out a lot of stuff on my own. For those still in twi...instead of going to a website that regurgitates twi doctrine and behavior...spend some time here...challenge yourself...if twi teaches the truth, then it should hold up...right? If you have been deceived (as so many here claim), then wouldn't you want the information so that you can make an informed decision? Being free from a cult is liberating...try it...you'll like it!
  5. If I'm not mistaken, this guy once got 20% of the votes when he ran for president... ...This guy has his own TV show...millions of people watch it religiously. They think he is a man of gawd and send him money... ...Glowwwwwwry!
  6. Good analogy...spiritual incest. They spiritually abuse the young ones in their "fellowship" by filling their heads with wrong doctrine, encourage wrong behavior, and do it all behind closed doors for the sake of privacy. Twi leadership takes away the innocence and the fruit from the naive and the end result is that those being abused are stripped of their individuality, a healthy mind and their true potential. The stagnant waters of this closed corporation leaves no room for growth and experience outside of their own older "family members"...quite sick when you look at it that way.
  7. Waitin', waitin'...toes a tappin'
  8. Nice post...informative to say the least... Yeah...share and fellowship...share and fellowship WHAT?...no debates, no questions, no dissent...In other words, if you walk in lockstep to our way of thinking and avoid questioning anything that we assert as truth...then you are welcome: Welcome to the sharing and fellowship internet services of the Way International. A place where opinons are only welcome if they reflect ours. A loving household of God's chosen meat puppets...where mindless, glassy eyed cult followers gather together to regurgitate what they have been told to think and say....stick around for the "afterhours coffeehouse", a time when we can all share how "blessed" we are to be totally without a clue and walking blindlessly after the self centered leaders who are using me and controlling me for their own gain...C'mon in everybody!...There's no strangers at the Way, only suckers we haven't abused yet.
  9. Everybodies favorite televangelist and class clown, that Zany old preacher Pat Robertson, (who recently recommended the assasination of a South American, national leader)...has done it again. Seems that old crocodile smile Pat is claiming to have leg pressed 2000 lbs.!!! I didn't stutter...2000 lbs.! He claims that he did it when he was 73 years old and was recovering from prostate cancer...Some sports experts are questioning this purported feat, declaring that the leg press record for the Florida State football team is only 1,335 lbs... ...but not to worry, Pat attributes his one ton leg press to the fact that he "eats well" and takes care of himself...and don't forget those wonder "health shakes" that Pat is now marketing...a mixture of soybean oil, Vinegar, and a few other nasty things...since the reporting of his "leg press", Pat's shakes are selling like crazy...and old Pat's crazy too...crazy like a fox.
  10. You mean to say...if I hang a "nice" towel, maybe red, over a window in the house that I paid for and own...I could go to jail? ...Doesn't sound like America, land of the free...does it?
  11. ...and the waaaaaaaaallssss came a tumblimg down...and the waaaaaaaalls came a tumbling down
  12. You should also be aware of the fact that twi monitors this website and is probably trying to figure out who you are talking about in order to "counter" your strategies...good luck...these people are real wackos.
  13. I believe that an 8th corps guy, who posts here at Grease Spot on occasion...did some extensive work on this subject...maybe he would like to comment....as for me, I have no idea. ...but maybe you should include Noah...didn't he have his cojones cut off while he slept?...If that isn't sexual molestation, I don't know what is....OUCH!
  14. friscoguy...welcome to the Grease Spot Cafe. There's no strangers here...only former cult members we haven't met yet. :)
  15. It appears that ck thinks that he will rally together a group of folks who are indignant over the fact that the moderators are watching him! no such luck lord wierwille worshipper...no such luck.
  16. The world is full of guys like Martindale...their doctrines have slightly different spins but the bottom line message is always the same... ..."I'm the (mog/apostle/chosen one/ enlightened one/ guru/ etc., etc.)"..."give me your allegience, your money and your women"...David Koresh comes to mind.
  17. Actually, the cornfield preacher was pretty smart. I've heard a lot of criticism towards him, but stupid isn't one of them. Most successful con men are smart...He understood human nature to the extent that he convinced a lot of folks that he was an "apostle" and then shook them down for their money and talked a lot of girls into the back of the motorcoach...an imbecile wouldn't be able to pull that off. He got over on a lot of very bright people...Of course, at this point, if you are still falling for his con, (after spending some time at the Grease Spot Cafe), then YOU may be an imbecile.
  18. Well...To state the obvious...Israelites were not Christians As far as supporting a King and Kingdom as the preferred form of rule...That would be fine...but ONLY if Jesus is the king of it...don't trust anyone else to handle the job. ...and as far as my take on the questions that I asked...I believe that I've already answered them in my other posts regarding this subject....I was looking for YOUR criteria for what tax dollars should be spent on.
  19. The question that I would pose is, what IS a representaive form of government supposed to do with the tax money it collects? A miltary for the defense of the nation? Police to protect citizens from criminals within it's borders? Fire department? health care? social securiy checks for the elderly? research grants to better our way of life? Street sweepers? It would seem that any endeavor that a government would involve itself with (with our tax dollars) is designed to benefit the citizens of that country. Should these endeavors be limited to things that benefit the entire collective?...or should certain segments of society to be targeted also?...such as AIDS research or cancer research?....or even feeding the poor? What is your criteria for what tax dollars should be spent on?
  20. How about Ron Pompeil?...was he an apostle? I mean, who else taught us that you could cover up a bald spot with spray paint?
  21. Lord Dr. Wierwille an apostle... As I read these words, coffee spewed out of my nose and tears flowed down my cheeks. ck...I concur with George. Please continue posting...I haven't laughed this hard since the Lewis Black HBO special...
  22. ...He also taught me that I had the ability to "discern"...and to actually "see" the hideous demons that inhabited those poor souls who refused to cough up the required amount of money to learn about this "mind power", as taught by Mr. Wierwille... Many a time I would walk through the mall "seeing" these minions from hell as they tortured the bodies and souls of many a "nametag rejecter"... ...ohhhh, those poor depraved people who had opened themselves up to satan's legions...and they even had NAMES!....What is thy name?...the answer was "OCCULAR CANCER"....Aieeeeeeee!
  23. Hmmm...The first thing that comes to mind is that Mr. Wierwille taught (although, I would hardly use the word "superior" to describe it)...that when I "believed" something...a certain power exuded from my mind that altered events in the external world...that I could actually decide to make things happen by the power in my brain...and this power wasn't confined to Christians alone...it "worked for saint and sinner alike". What a glowwwwrious day it was when I realized that the mother was responsible for the death of her own child when he was struck down dead by that vehicle on the road!...she had actually made it happen by merely thinking about it...glowwwry!
  24. ...Of course the doctrine that all sins are equal was taught by the same guy who was raping girls in the back of the bus...how convieeeeeeeeeeenient.
  25. ...Vroom, Vroom... ...and it's Dan Miller off to an early lead in the race... ...Vroom Vroom.
