A Happy Birthday Poem For DR. SUDO: His heart is so giving He pulls teeth for a living Never a worry or care With his deep southern drawl He says "howdy y'all" Won't you please sit down in my chair He pulls out the needle And smiles like a beetle As he pokes it deep in your gum Then he sharpens his drill And moves in for the kill The novacaines made your face numb You can feel the tooth shatter But what does it matter There's no pain and you sit there quite still When he finally quits The real pain hits As he smiles when he hands you the bill. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUDO :)
  3. ...That's what Veepee told me when I was in the 10th corps...he took me aside and said..."when I come to Emporia, stop by the motorcoach and visit me"...so I did...or I should say...I tried. I was stopped when I got within 50 feet of his pimpmobile...was told that I shouldn't "bother" the "doctor"... Two hours later, at lunch, there was a general announcement made to all corps...DO NOT GO NEAR THE MOTORCOACH AND "BOTHER" DR. WIERWILLE!!!! My feelings were hurt... Oh well...life went on... but somehow I felt that I had been "dissed". Maybe if I had been a foxy young "waygirl"...I would have been invited in. I guess I just wasn't important enough...or the right gender. Tell us YOUR story of the motorcoach.
  4. Holy cow Smitty! Never heard that one before! The more than abundant life?...glad you survived and you're here posting with us now... :)
  5. Nato...your posts made me laugh...seriously...you're a funny guy. Thanks.
  6. He's not...and therein lies the cruxt of the matter. Twi taught that it was "Christ in you" and that each born again believer had direct access to God. They took a lot of money from people to teach them how to receive revelation from God...but yet, in day to day living they micromanage every detail of a person's life. Did they not really believe their own teachings?...
  7. Like everything else that we humans do, our legal system is imperfect. Ask an African American what they think about American justice... I was recently a witness to a robbery...The police saw the whole thing on a video camera, I gave them a sworn statement, and I even told them the guys name!...(I happened to recognize him)...nothing was done for 3 weeks!...the only reason they finally went and arrested him was because he assaulted a police officer (3 weeks after the robbery)...after he hit the cop, they arrested him the NEXT DAY! and this was in a small town!
  8. [quote name='ChasUFarley' date='Sep 25 2006, 03:21 PM' post='269248' After all, she still is the First Lady of TWI. Are you referring to her "special" relationship to the current president?
  9. Haven't seen much of Wacky Funster either... or...P.Mosh Last I heard, Uncle Hairy had infiltrated twi, as a spy. and was currently working at Camp Gunnison as a grounds keeper.
  10. There's not much worse than being a child molester...and there's not much worse than being accused of being a child molester IF YOU'RE NOT... Make the penalty severe...but make damn sure he's guilty. Vigilantes? I believe in the legal system and allowing the authorities to deal with the situation...BUT there are situations where citizens need to "get involved"...self defense is a legitimate reason to put a few pop knots on somebodies head...especially if you are protecting a child.
  11. I feed my dogs a mixture of baked chicken, brown rice and cottage cheese...it great for them and they love it.
  12. I've been around here for awhile...I remember some very witty, very intelligent and articulate posters that have simply disapeared...or so it seems. Shall we invoke some of their names?...Where are they? Orange Cat Larry P....(my favorite poster of all time) satori Grizz Bear Karl Kohler Hillsbro ...There's a lot of new folks here who don't remember these great folks...C'mon gang...who else?
  13. One of the things that I remember my mom saying to me was: "Don't ever criticize your friends on how they raise their kids or you will lose their friendship" ...my mom died in 1972, when I was only 21 years old...she was the most loving Christian woman I have ever known...if your mom is still alive...CHERISH her...tell her that you love her...I sure wish that I could do that today... :(
  14. krysilis...Thank you for that stroll down memory lane. I graduated from high school in 1969... I remember those years well...God's love to you. :)
  15. Phineas T. Freak to be exact..."like theives in the night...like thieves in the night"
  16. Maybe they think of themselves as the "Fantastic Four" of Marvel comics fame...or perhaps they see themselves as the remnant of Jedi Knights, sorta like Luke Skywalker... ...Personally, I see them as Curly, Larry and Moe...with Shemp thrown in.
  17. The 60's... ...puberty ...assasinations ...Hanoi Jane ...LSD ...Jerry Garcia ...college ...VW beetle ...sex in the back of a VW beetle ...rock concerts ...dope smokin' ...war protestin' ...more LSD ...Grace Slick ...Huey Newton ...long hair ...holes in jeans ...crash pads ...Old Gold filters ...The Moody Blues ...fallin' in love ...hangin' out in the park ...Kurt Vonnegut ...Bob Dylan ...water pipes ...lava lamps ...Mr Natural ...R.Crumb ...pigs ...peace signs ...hitch hiking ...AND...The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers (with Fat Freddy's cat).
  18. I think there's a distinct difference between forgiving someone...and restoring them to their previous position of authority. For example...I could forgive Craig Martindale but I would never allow him to be in a leadership position again...and of course, are any of the examples that you listed TRULY repentant? It's easier to forgive someone when they admit their mistake and turn away from it...it's difficult to know this, when it comes to these high profile examples you list...for the most part, all we see or hear is a television soundbite or a brief article in a newspaper...
  19. Can you imagine being one of the four corps graduates? ...lemme see now...between the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th corps...there was what? maybe 2500 of us?...it was easy to get lost in the crowd...but 4?...just FOUR?????? "Who's gonna volunteer for kitchen duty tonight?"...they all look at each other...Oh man! what a sh *t sandwich that must be!!!
  20. These guys...Cummins, Burton...they were in up to their keisters with Veepee. I doubt that any of them would ever get a "real" job that they had to punch a clock. I guess it's a "calling"...wasn't Johnny (I like girls in the back of the motorcoach too) Townsend in with Geer also? Sure...I'll spend my money on their books...NOT!
  21. ...And if I'm not mistaken, 1976 was "Go stand and speak"...the year I went WOW... we stood and we spoke...and the dollars rolled in...pour me another glass of drambuie please.
  22. Oh my goodness... who ever imagined we would be having so much fun "exposing the evil" of twi? Let's see now...Rozilla is a lesbian...is that right? and so is Donna? what ever happened to the homo purge?... ...Where's Jerry Springer when you really need him?
  23. Perhaps instead of passing the mantle, Wierwille should have passed him a pack of "trojans"? Came from the steps of Deborah?...Looks more like she fell down the steps of Deborah...face first.
  24. Just wondering...Does twi claim that Rosie is the "Woman of God" for our day and time?
