  1. Why doesn't that surprise me?...
  2. 57%...I failed! F**k me! I was always bad at science...
  3. Back to the bacon... ...Slice russet potatoes 1/4 inch thick (length wise), sprinkle them with black pepper and garlic salt...fry them in olive oil until 3/4 done... ...remove potatoes and wrap each slice with a strip of bacon...place back into skillet and fry (turning only once), until bacon is done... Delicious!
  4. There's something wrong here...I haven't got my invitation yet... :(
  5. I experienced paranoia when under the influence of LSD...but never ganga...but that's just me...Pot always made me feel good, relaxed, and everything was allright...it took the edge off of the dark realities of life... As John Prine once said "You may see me tonight with an illegal smile, it don't cost very much and it lasts a long while, won't you please tell the man, I didn't hurt anyone, I was just trying to have me some fun"...
  6. Not really Chas...all that means is that THC sticks to the fat cells and the more fat you have, the longer it takes to get it out of your system...Marajuana has a half life of 7 days in your body, which means that every 7 days (if you don't smoke anymore of it), the amount is reduced by one half...it takes 4 "half life cycles" for it to get out of the average person's system ( to pass a p*ss test)...thus the "30 days and you're clean" ...as far as having to pee in a cup for someone...I totally resent the intrusion into the privacy of a person's body...I think that a person should be innocent until proven guilty and that if there is no outward behavior that violates the law, whatever is in your body is nobody else's business...random drug testing at the work place should be deemed unconstitutional in my opinion... I really don't understand this "paranoia" thing that people talk about when smoking reefer...I've never experienced it. The question I ask people is...If you are in a bar, would you rather shoot a game of pool with somebody who is drunk or somebody who is stoned?...I think that tells it all. I think marajuana is at worst, benign and at best helpful to people...but that's just me. Mark O'Malley raises some good questions about the administrative realities behind trying to enforce government regulations of it (if it were decriminilized)...The hypocracy of alcohol laws has been a massive failure in it's own right...a bartender will legally serve you numerous drinks, but if you try to drive home, you are violating the law... As Sam Kinnison once said "How do they expect us to get home?"...personally, I think that a person who is stoned can drive better than a person who is over 70...
  7. You got that right...I doubt that he ever felt any remorse...my guess is that he's still abusing women and exalting himself in his own little world...one thing for sure, he doesn't have the balls to post here.
  8. and let s not forget...Mike, who hangs his hat on every word that proceeded out of the holy mouth of the cornfield prescher... ...and yes Mo, I agree with what you say...(in spite of my sarcastic nature)
  9. I once had a woman ask me to put my finger in her belly button...suddenly she shouted "Hey, that's not my belly button"...and I said "well, that's not my finger" sorry...couldn't resist. ...but yes, I know what you mean. I have had numerous experiences where people would rationilize their desires of the flesh by talking about their "freedom in Christ".... The top leadership of twi comes to mind.
  10. I was just curious of what people's opinons were of smoking pot... ...My guess is that there are people here at the GreaseSpot that fit all the categories of my original post...
  11. I can appreciate the medical uses of marajuana as I believe in a constitutional right to self medicate as well as the actual medicinal qualities of it...I know a cancer patient who smokes it regularly to help him cope with the side effects of his treatments...he swears by it. There's research that indicates that it helps folks who have glucoma. ...There's also people (Rastafarians), who believe that it brings them closer to God and it's a part of their religion. Personally, I think it's less harmful than alcohol and more enjoyable as well...but of course, it's illegal. and I know that nobody here would ever break the law... ;)
  12. and let me guess...YOU know what the right thing is...right?
  13. LOL ...I meant for this to be a poll but clicked on the wrong button...oh well...well do you think?
  14. Just out of curiosity: 1-I love the stuff and smoke it every chance I get 2-I occasionally puff some to relax 3-I thinks it's not a good thing to do but I do it anyway on rare occasion 4-I think it's wrong and simply don't do it 5-It's from satan and you will get possessed if you even get near it
  15. Old George Bush rearrange the letters: Should be Gore
  16. What's the first thing a blonde does when she wakes up?...(she walks home)
  17. Squirrels are hard to disembowel because they carry their nuts in their mouth...
  18. This whole "counciling thing" brings to mind an incident...if it weren't so pathetic, it would be funny. During the time I was married and in the 10th corps, my wife and I went to see one of the top twi leaders for some marriage counciling...(at my wife's insistance)...our "problem" had to do with financial pressures...the advice we were given was to sit and masturbate in front of each other!...I kid you not. My jaw dropped open... ...a couple of weeks later, a fellow 10th corps buddy told me that the same "councilor" had told him and his wife the SAME THING...for an entirely different problem (non sexual in nature)...We looked at each other and started laughing. In hindsight, I think this twi "leader" (pervert) was fantasizing about people jerking off...and that's about the sum and substance of twi counciling sessions...they had no qualifications whatsoever...zero, ziltch...when it came to counciling anyone.
  19. Hands down...Lewis Black.
  20. Gregory...Welcome to the GreaseSpot Cafe...that was quite a "first post"... Of course, I totally disagree with your description of Chris Geer...I knew him as a mean spirited bus driver who pimped for VPW and got young girls into the back of the motor coach...and I wouldn't trust him any further than I could throw that motor coach...but hey, we all have different perspectives and you're more than welcome here
  21. You know your church is redneck is they think "gay marriage" is a couple who laugh a lot while having sex...
  22. My avitar is a portrait of me that was painted by a close friend...it's also a testamony of how much I look like my dad.
  23. Cozumel has some excellant coral reefs and places to rent snorkling equipment...they have guided tours that will take you out in a boat to the best places...it's breath taking Also, it's well worth the ferry trip from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen (takes about 20 minutes)...Playa del Carmen is a small village on the edge of the ocean with cantinas and good places to eat...no cars...it's all walking on dirt roads...some excellant buys on handcrafted items...it's more like a fair/carnival atmosphere than a village....I stayed there once for 10 days...it was wonderful Advice...do not eat beef...stick with the pescado (fish)...it's caught fresh daily and grilled with excellant spices (try the pescado Vera cruz style)...do NOT drink the water...stick with bottled beer and be sure to take some pepto bismol with you. and the tequila!...oh my :o
