  1. There's a moral, ethical and legal responsibility for "clergy" in a church to NOT take sexual advantages of women in their congregation...They are at a decided advantage. They were BOTH wrong?...you outta rethink that...doesn't the bible say something about what will happen to shepards who f* ck their own sheep?
  2. John...Right on brother!...I've got a copy of Geer's book for his class (WIGP), and I must say that I concur...Geer's class is a complete copy of Wierwille's class (with a few tweeks here and there)...and NO acknowledgement to Wierwille at all... ...and this was the twi "leader" that was supposedly the closest to Veepee's bossom? According to the passing of the poop paper, Geer was the only one that could do it...etc, etc....and the guy doesn't even mention Wierwille in his class? How about this..."I would like to dedicate this book to the man who taught me God's word and inspired me to teach others also..my father in the word, Victor Paul Wierwille"... ...but no...no mention of the old poop. What's his trip?....Even as Wierwille never mentioned where he got the info for the class from, neither did his disciple...consistant at least. and what seems to escape certain people is that Geer is reproducing the errors of pfal...thankfully, his following is small.
  3. Bolshevic...I can appreciate the personal advantages it is to you...BUT, what's next?...no "cussing" in public?...no farting?...no gum chewing?...How far does the government get to go in regulating behavior? When do we cease being free?
  4. I think that's the summation of the twi experience...Christ was absent. ..so what's the true word?...I think pond's post was close to what I'm thinking when he said "for me the word is my heart, what I know as truth"... ...Jesus said that the spirit would lead us into all truth...that it would connect us to God through Christ...the experience of life as God works in us, inspires us, teaches us...it's not about what's written in a book...it's about living life and knowing Him. ...but doesn't somebody have to dot all the I's and cross all the T's?...doesn't somebody have to dissect the grammer and delve into the ancient languages?...doesn't somebody have to emerge as the "authority"?...The guy who can prove he is right scripturally? Naw, I don't think so...it's not about being a scholar, it's about having God's spirit and loving people..."the word" is just a cliche unless it is written in your heart.
  5. I think that Chris Geer's character is central to everything he does...including his "knockoff" of pfal...How can you seperate a scoundral from what a scoundral does?...I question his motives, I question his honesty and I question his qualifications or ability to teach anything to anyone...and I've known the guy for over 30 years. What if Jeffery Dahmer wrote a book about understanding the bible?...Would you not "judge" his character before taking his words into consideration?...and what's all this religious crap about using "not judging others" as a way to ignore or sweep under the carpet, all the nefarious actions and associations by this unsavory character? God gave me a brain and the ability to discern right from wrong...and I call em like I see em...aren't we supposed to "warn" others about the wolves in sheeps clothing? Geer is a phoney...
  6. The state of Ohio just passed a no smoking law for all public places...including bars. I think that sucks...The government is imposing upon privately owned estabishments. If you own a bar, it should be your decision as to whether or not you allow smoking inside...what's that you say?...cigarette smoke makes you sick...so don't go into the bar! The government collects PLENTY of tax money on cigarettes...they are sold legally in stores...but I can't light up when I go out for a beer?...I think it's crazy. ...and while I'm at it, I don't buy into this second hand smoke myth either...You say smoking is bad for me?...so is consuming caffine, sugar and monosodium glutamate... Welcome to the new regulated society where nobody is allowed to mind their own business.
  7. Good times in twig?...Lemme see now... ...hmmmm...ok, I got it! I remember how good it felt when it was over and I could go outside and have a smoke...
  8. I think that grocery shopping in America has become an excercise in social stamina...A hodge podge of neurotic people, people who are in a hurry and just plain weirdos...people who leave their carts in the middle of the aisle ...the guy who stands over the meat section and blocks your entry to the ribeyes...and he loiters as he man handles every steak in the cooler...the long lines at the checkout...mean people sneering...children screaming... I like to go to the 24 hour grocery store at about 3am...
  9. Ssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...There's a few people here who don't know about it...it's kind of an inside joke.
  10. I am still holding on to all my old twi books...I got most all of em'...some hard cover...all in good shape. I'm betting that the value will continue to increase...I'll sell them in about 10 years on Ebay
  11. He actually believes that demons from hell will invade his body if he logs on...
  12. ...and so the poem ends with: "So when you wish upon a star, it had better be more than with Goofy in a bar. Please...Extinguish your basic rights here. Thank you for not smoking... Thank you for not thinking... Thank you for not caring... Thank you for being kindler and gentler...Thank you for being full of WONDER... Thank you for all the POWER. Gates will be closing at eight... Here in the United States of Disneyland. (Vincent Quatroche)...
  13. I shop at Aldi's...that says it all. Aldi's is a generic grocery chain, where you bag your own groceries and the inside of the store looks like a warehouse with everthing stacked on pallets. Generic?...You bet! Every chance I get...Heinze ketchup $1.89...Kyder ketchup $.79 (same stuff)!!! I usually shop at individually owned businesses and mom and pop places...I avoid large corporate chains and I refuse to walk into a WalMarts... When buying name brands, you end up paying more because of the overhead (advertising), that is associated with becoming a "name brand"...more often than not, the generic brand is the same thing...a lot of people get "taken in" by the psychological aspects of "name brand" shopping... The secret is to define "what's good" yourself...don't be a slave to public opinion or what Wall Street tells you...ketchup is ketchup.
  14. Self governing twigs...that's exactly what my twig was...WE decided...When everything began to publicly unravel (in the late 80's), I shot from the hip...I told my twig exactly what I knew and what I believed, I sheltered them from nothing....Our decisions were independant of the waytree. I knew in my heart that lcm was really screwed up and that in NO way could I follow that man... I think that the best way to "protect" people is to tell them the brutal truth and let them make informed decisions...
  15. An expert has been defined as a "damn fool a long way from home"...Carl Sandburg. Follow the money...this kind of research is usually funded by government sources that are looking for "favorable" results that fit their agenda....I've seen them before, they are mostly baloney.
  16. ...only because you are a fiddler! ...I didn't get a headache!...I thought it was kewl.
  17. That's really excellant news! So happy for you... :)
  18. From a poem by Vincent Quatroche: "United States of Disneyland" "Please extinguish all smoking materials here. Gates open at eight. Please extinguish all brains and grey matter here. Gates open at eight. Thank you, have a nice day, have a nice stay. Please step right this way Please extinguish all independant imaginations here. Please stay in line, keep your seats, gates will open at eight. Please extinguish all individuality here. Let's open the gate and masturbate because it's the United States of Disneyland. Say hello to Mickey. Why he's got a little white hand for you to hold. In the other, there's a fist and pal, I think this Mickey has a nice long list over who's allowed in and who gets the boot..."
  19. That's a really nice thing you did...sounds like it made a difference in more than one person's life. ...and congratulations on being able to merge a paycheck with doing something that's worthwhile...we all got bills to pay...but it's nice to know that you're doing something good at the same time.
  20. Oh...there's a God alright...and He wants us to believe what He tells us... ...but I suspect that there's a lot of whackos, conmen, religious nuts, and well doers who want to interfer in that process... God requires faith of us...to trust Him...not the "power of believing".
  21. I'm about 900 miles away...If I started walking now and covered about 25 miles a day...hmmm.
  22. I thought it was only fair to extend an invitation to him...afterall, he is the subject of a lot of posts here...I want him to know that he is always welcome to come here and give his side of the story...if he so chooses. As far as the "calling the kettle black" remark...I don't think that I need to be sinless before I can sound the alarm on a bunch of predators that are stalking about. People are STILL being hurt inside of twi...this is about pointing out false prophets to protect people...not a vengeful game of namecalling.
  23. I recall a mooning incident in front of Anderson library during it's dedication (I think 1979)...VP was there with a host of other twi bigwigs, standing on the stairs for the ceremony...suddenly a car horn blares and when everybody turns to look, theres some townie hanging his arse out the window... ...I had to turn my back so nobody would see me laughing.
  24. Heck...I don't have any authority here...I don't list the requirements to post...and my use of the word "romanticize" is used to illustrate my point...not to "throw guilt or shame" at anyone. I think that Catcup said it well, perhaps I was too blunt in stating my position. Too often, people have carried the burden of "IT WAS MY FAULT" around with them. My intention is to illuminate to them that it was not their fault...they did not fail...twi was wrong. They were manipulated with erroneous ideas and doctrines and by meanspirited people. Chatty....it's not the "good memories" that should be exchanged...it's the memories of self condemnation and guilt that should be replaced. Guilt should be reassigned to the top leaders of twi. ...You say "I refuse to state the negatives over and over and over again because it is not healthy for me"...and I agree. Each person should recognize where their head is at and what is healthy and unhealthy for them. I suppose that I have been out of twi for so long now (20 years), that I remain somewhat "detached" from the twi experience on a personal level...in other words, when I walk away from my computer, I forget about twi until the next time I come back here...I no longer have issues that I deal with. ...and I also understand that there is value in revisiting those times that had been positive experiences. That's why there are a variety of different forums here. GreaseSpot is more than just a forum of exposing twi's evils...it's also a social community where people interact on different levels. We have places where folks discuss food, music, movies, politics, family, etc, etc...we have a place where we honor those who have passed away and a place to pray...some folks love the chat room...others love being silly and telling jokes...and I appreciate the well rounded venue here. I'm not a harsh or bitter person but I AM diligent in my attempts to keep my focus on exposing twi in THIS forum. Like I said, that's why I'm here...and I would never want to impose my own decisions on how to post...on you or anyone else. You have always been free to post how you choose! In twi, everybody was locked into "groupthink"...opposing views were not debated and everyone was secure in the knowledge that we all believed the same stuff...GreaseSpot is the opposite of that...and because we all think independently, at times there will be opposing views...and that's a GOOD thing. Arguing is not a negative thing (although it CAN be), it shouldn't be. That's why attorney's present their "Arguments" in court...not to be negative but to present their view in contrast to the other view. This allows debate...this is how we learn and advance. I appreciate your unique contributions and would never want you to feel pressured to conform to someone else's agenda...in other words, "do your thing"...I do. :)
  25. I just reread the posts from Freud and jung...I believe they presented, what is, the probable condition of the former king okie. They describe him as a man who is struggling with himself...as a man who has fallen from a great height and that there are areas of his life that are so painful that he cannot talk about them...in other words, he's a basket case. His own cruelty and hate and abuse and disregard finally devoured him and left him a sniveling "underachiever". Talk about getting your head messed up by twi...this was the guy who thought he was Joshua...and now he wears a clown suit and serves french fries... I honestly don't think he even capable of posting here...it's beyond his emotional capacity.
