  1. Bravo...I enjoyed watching that...
  2. Happy birthday to a guy that I knew when he was 5 years old... Like a thief in the night, may you continue to run the rum...
  3. What might have been?...How about "more of the same". It was a flim flam operation from day one. The departure of talented people was not only inevitable but something to be thankful for...It's when we depart from twi that life begins anew...a world where we decide for ourselves without some cult figure standing over us.
  4. That's an awful lot of "ifs"... If grandma had a pair of testicles, they'd call her grandpa...
  5. Good point Hammer...I imagine that Bob has "instilled" some ambitious goals within the mind of his wannabe son... When king okie got the boot, Bob was probably the most qualified (by twi's definition) to take over the presidency...Most of the other top leaders of twi had long since departed. I mean, Bob paid his dues...Bob was there in the early days...he was the one who replaced Heefner in the "Way east" when Wierwille staged his own coup...Bob has a long history of top leadership positions with twi and probably figured he shoulda got the presidency based on "squatters rights" alone... ...but alas, instead he was overlooked in favor of a nasty, uncharismatic, scheming dyke!...musta left a bad taste in his mouth. ...and of course, my theory all along has been that lcm chose rosie because he felt that he could return to power easier without any threat from another "legitimate leader" taking his place...rosie's purpose was to keep the chair warm until craiggers returned...of course, rosie had other ideas.
  6. Mr. Wierwille was fully aware of the elevated position he had ascended to in the minds of his followers...therefore, his outlandish claims were not only nonsense but also irresponsible. I will stop short of saying that he got what he deserved. It's not my place to determine that...in fact, I would not wish cancer on anyone... ...It's my opinion that VP taught many thing for the sake of "sensationalism"...especially in the advanced class. He loved to hear the "ooohs and aaahs" from his followers who hung on his every word. He lived for the adoration of his followers and insisted on being the center of attention at all times.
  7. The doctrine that Jesus taught was far removed and very different than the biblical interpretations Of Mr. Wierwille...I'm sorry that after all this time, you still fail to see that. If you recall, Jesus was declared to be absent in twi and it is somewhat difficult to follow someone who is absent...especially when you are taught that the written word (which Wierwille determined FOR us) takes the place of the absent Christ...I never followed Jesus until AFTER I left twi and rid myself of the wrong doctrines...but thanks for asking.
  8. You know you are in a redneck church if the closing song is "Free bird"...
  9. You're right...nothing you will say will change that...at least not for me, I know better.
  10. In hindsight, I don't consider Wierwille to have been a teacher. I consider him to have been a predator
  11. Solomon?...You must be kidding. I often compare him to David Koresh.
  12. Sure...It was MY fault because I was there in the motorcoach slipping drugs to young girls so Vic could have his way with them...NOT! I have enough sins of my own without being implicated in the guilt that resonates within the activities of top twi leaders. The only people who should accept the responsibilites for twi's abuse are those who were involved with it...most of the rank and file were trying to be good Christians.
  13. Wait a minute here!...Why was prayer even necessary?..."All believing equals receiving"..."works for saint and sinner alike". God wasn't necessary in the twi equation...it was that magical power in your own mind that caused things to happen...or have you forgotten the twi doctrine? Wierwille's death is a testamony that twi's doctrines were as phoney as Wierwille himself.
  14. ...and there ya have it folks...these punks aren't interested in being Christian ministers, they want to take over an exisiting enterprise that has millions of dollars in assests. ...I have this strange notion that a true Christian minister doesn't look for an opprotunity to grab power, money and prestiege. It would seem that the body of Christ and it's godly motivations are not good enough for them...they want an earthly organization that has plenty of money in the bank...
  15. Although the idea of twi seeking feedback from it's followers is not novel in the world of corporate enterprises, it certainly would be for twi...their history is one of pontifications and decrees. It seems that the very nature of this beast is for the leaders to have all the answers and the followers to be seeking these answers. This, in part, is what makes it a cult. There is no reform for twi...if you were to eliminate all that was wrong with it, you would have nothing left. Supposedly, this group defines itself as the "household of God"...where then is the Lord's council?...Surely if the Lord were involved, there would be some measurable indication of that...instead of one failure after the other. The solution for many was simply to disassociate themselves with twi...perhaps the ultimate answer for this outfit is to disassociate themselves with themselves...disband, liquidate, go their seperate ways, dissolve their corporate existance...and each person could then find their own way to "sweet fellowship"... I think it's beyond repair and restoration is a misnomer...there is nothing to restore itself to...it has always been a counterfeit Christian organization...the sincere Christians that belonged discovered that they needed to leave...those sincere Christians who remain are walking a treadmill of dispair with no remedy in sight. When people lie in God's name, people get hurt and the end results are ugly...
  16. I for one, appreciate Socks' sentiment...time and time again, Socks has graced us with his tempered views and heart towards those who have fallen into the "Way warp"...afterall, he once made a joyful noise that many of us were thrilled by...and he continues to do so today... :) ...and here at the GreaseSpot, it's a tough crowd to play to... Thanks...
  17. Ok...I'm you're Huckleberry...God has never led anyone to twi... it was an Amway-like scam...wake up and smell the coffee.
  18. I think that is an oversimplification... Many things they taught, they also practiced (ie...all the women in the kingdom belong to the king)... ...the real problem is that most of what they taught was wrong. As far as Wierwille's teaching on the mystery...Wierwille didn't just "adopt" Bullinger's ideas on dispensationalism, he pretended that those ideas were his own...that's called lying. I think it's the same concept as when a person wins the lottery...they didn't earn the money themselves and therefore don't really understand or appreciate it as if they worked for it themselves...they oftentimes squander it irresponsibly without a full understanding of the stewardship of it... Wierwille "taught" that Christ was the head of the body and then promptly declared him absent and placed himself as the head of the church...he was an egotistical phoney. AnotherDan....I'm glad that you "try to be kind to the memory of VPW", forgive me if I DON'T. He taught that it was "Christ in you" but he never believed it...otherwise he would not have set up a hierarchy that lorded over people through a chain of command...he was a counterfeit and I have absolutely no respect for his memory. PS...why did he drug and rape young girls who had "Christ in them" also????...The man was a scourge.
  19. I respectfully disagree!...random biological "accidents" could never, in a zillion years, ever produce the personalities that we see in this world!...I must conclude that intelligent design has offered us up some very "interesting folks" throughout the ages.. ...such as Pinky Lee (who remembers Pinky Lee?)
  20. Maybe it's time to set the stage for the young Moneyhands: His father was the guy that Wierwille sent to the east coast to "corporately" run the "Way east" after he stole the ministry of Steve Heefner... he was rewarded with coordinating the family corps with his "lovely" wife...they soon found themselves in the position of councilling young girls that had been raped by king okie... I never liked Bob Moneyhands and I doubt that I would like his son...
  21. That's EXACTLY what I'm saying...a Godless world would never allow you to exist...never, I say! twisted sense of humor?...you bet! but what I have failed to mention is that he even allows Jonny Lingo to exist!!!!!!!!! and, and, and, and...he even allows oldiesman to exist!...If that isn't proof, then I don't know what is. Amen and amen.
  22. Yes...I was also at the rock that year when I heard of the death of Elvis... ...and get this, the real reason that the devil chose that particular time to kill Elvis was because Stevie Kay Louie had just come out with a new album that was supposedly going to be picked up by a major label...UNTIL the king croaked!...and then all bets were off...they cancelled the contract with Stevie Kay so they could put out more Elvis albums...at least that was what some top twi leaders were saying...
  23. Yeah...I suppose it's only a matter of time before somebody steps up to replace rosie...I mean, how far can an old ugly dyke take it? Bob's kid?...sure...makes sense to me. I'm sure that he was raised with the wooden spoon and is now ready to take command... meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
  24. I lived in Houston when hurricane Alicia hit in the early 80's...we had never been in a hurricane before, so we did what a lot of other people did...we had a hurricane party! ...That is, until it hit!...the party ended abruptly. All I can say is that if you know a hurricane is headed your way...LEAVE TOWN asap...and take your pets with you. Stay safe everyone.
