  1. I don't think that Don't Worry needs valium...he's asking honest questions and it's rude of JAL and the others not to respond. Lynn has always been a "drive by poster" here...he pontificates, tries to sell his books and then boogies off to the secret place where only mogs go...he, thus far, has refused to have honest dialogue with any of us on this forum. Perhaps he only feels comfortable in a controlled environment where his "presentation" can be within the context of him talking and everyone else listening...and that's really too bad.
  2. Ha ha ha...now THAT was funny! I guess it was another tale of Jonny lingo going swimming.
  3. This whole thing makes me shake my head...My experience with these CES folks is that they, like twi, only have "use" for you if it furthers their agenda....apparently, their posting here to clarify themselves and answer questions is not a great concern for them... ...John Lynn was interested in me when he thought that he might be able to recruit me into his "ministry"...when he discovered that I wasn't interested in buying what he was selling, he lost interest...fair enough. ...As far as it goes, I don't think they have any interest in responding on this forum because they know they have "shot their wad" here and we all see their dirty laundry...there's nobody left to bilk, nobody to con, nobody to raise the flag of their denomination over their rooftops...they are "shaking the dust off their feet" and moving on to more fertile grounds...in other words, they are conducting damage control and looking for suckers elsewhere. I think they are being challenged to be "stand up guys"...but so far they are acting out the part of the wimp.
  4. Honestly...I think that Jonny makes it up as he goes.
  5. Sorry...not impressed. From what I've heard, Pillai was considered a whacko by most serious Christian scholars and, as much as Bo may have been a nice guy, I wouldn't hang my hat on his waybrained perspective either. ...and you've gone off on a tangent. The original point was in equating the fact that Judas got to hold onto to the bag on money and comparing that to the dishonest pyramid scheme by the way international and their prime motive of bilking people. Jesus sought to do his Father's will...VP Cornfield sought to satiate his own lusts for power, sex and money...see the difference now?
  6. I don't see where the scriptures you invoke demonstrate "Jesus International" as an on going financial enterprise. So Judas held on to the money bag...big deal. Was he the secretary/treasurer of this pyramid scheme? I DO remember something about not teaching the word for filthy lucre...and Wierwille's lucre was as filthy as it gets. Mike...You're grasping at straws.
  7. Reading their terms and conditions and their disclaimers was more like reading something from a manufacturing company trying to protect itself from defects and damage that might be incurred from using their product...I thought this was supposed to be a Christian organization...with a religious tax exemption from the IRS! I can see the apostle Paul handing out pamphlets with legal language that protected him against the failure of the holy spirit to deliver as promised...NOT! How many preachers and churches do you know of that have such extensive legal safeguards set up to protect them from liability?...but them again, most churches aren't running pyramid schemes.
  8. In 1975, I paid $85 bucks ... I recall at the time, asking where the money goes. 7 people at $85 per person is $595. It seemed like a lot of money to sit and listen to a bunch of tapes (that were sent back) and receive a few paper back books...(nobody running the class got paid)... ...I was told that twi made no money on their classes!...simple math showed they were lying...and THAT was the first "sign" that I ignored when I first got involved. ...and for those of you who still embrace pfal as the greatest thing since Jesus walked the earth, I challenge you to show in the bible where teaching and preaching God's word was a money making enterprise...
  9. I like to sit around the house in my underwear...
  10. What's interesting is that the very inception of twi was a scam. It was always about providing a legal structure to protect and accumulate assets. Wierwille was an extremely immoral man whose "relationship" with God was a phoney as the snow on the gas pumps. He was a con man...and then there's people like Mike who still swears by the snake oil. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the cult apologists...oh well, to each his own. ...and I remember very well sitting through the "Way tree" seminar. I can still hear that sniveling Johnny Townsend, doing his best VP imitation, telling us all about the Yak family...about how they all form a circle around the young ones to protect them...what he forgot to tell us was that eventually the Yaks turn on their own and put the horns to them...
  11. Somehow it all fits...Stanley Goodspeed, the funny clothes, the hysterical "musical productions" that twi now puts on...they have become a parody of themselves... ...Step this way folks, see what's left of this once, up and coming, cult...thousands of bright and talented people have left and their ranks now consist of the brown nosers, feeble minded, and those who are too full of fear to do anything else. The cult itself, has long lost it's fire...it now exists primarily to maintain the life styles of those who control the flow of money. They produce a facade of religious activities to maintain their IRS status...and to maintain their lifestyles...they are still living off the massive revenues of the 70's and 80's...and their investments. This bunch is pathetic beyond imagination...It's like reading a Dean Koonze book.
  12. The guys looked like waiters at a Poderosa steak house and the women looked they had collectively lost a bet and had to dress like Ma Kettle on purpose... ...but what do you expect?. When you have someone like Rosie in charge, is it any wonder that the current twi is nothing more than a parody?
  13. Good one Sudo...Watching that video got me giggling. ...That slicked back hair, the skinny tie...how could I have been so stupid?...Cornfield Vic started lying the moment he drew his first breath...he was a natural born grifter.
  14. I can see it now...it will be called: "The Abundant Power of the Present Truth" by Blip Moneyhands...
  15. I have a gut feeling that Rosie enjoys being prez...Eventually, they will have to replace her...how old is that ugly cow?...She must be pushing close to 65 or 70 by now isn't she?...she looks like 9 miles of bad road. As far as Moneyhand's kid...what his name?...Blip?...It sounds as though Blip would be perfect for the job...born and raised in twi! He doesn't even have memories of what it's like to be normal. He doesn't know any better! The perfect buffoon to excite the glassy eyed followers...spittle running down their chins as Mog Blip, screams from the podium, resurrecting memories of those electric days of the mighty Forehead. Who knows?...maybe he'll even make a new film class!...
  16. Where ya been Wacky?...Haven't seen you around in awhile

  17. I hope the issues are resolved soon and people can get back to work... ...Unions have become very weak over the last couple of decades. This was the first major strike by these guys in 30 years. I hope that it's not only resolved quickly, but also that the workers can get a fair shake and that the unions, in general, can become stronger as a result of this.
  18. I think Rosie should give a speech...(with Donna at her side)... ...Let her proclaim (with a straight face), how they are the holders of truth. They should shout with excitement the prevailing truth of the prevailing household...the explosion of the word over the world...as all eyes turn to New Knoxville to hear the great woman of God speak with charisma and conviction...stirring the audience with her captivating oratory skills...let her pound her fist upon the podium of righteousness... ...give the people a vision...let them embrace the words of the dyke...let them eat cake.
  19. "You're magnetic ink...No, I'm more than that...at least I think I must be... ...there ya go man, keep on thinking free..."
  20. A tale of three bibles?...should we start guessing?...do we get a prize?
  21. Considering the theme "65 years of twi dirt...", it would seem appropriate to have a short opening film overviewing the sexual proclivities of Vic the predator. Perhaps some interviews with victims followed by a guided tour of the motorcoach?...An instrumental version of "he touched me" could be playing in the background.
  22. I think it works both ways...if you've ever wronged someone and after a heartfelt apology, they forgave you...it's almost a cleansing experience because a burden has been lifted from you...you've been forgiven. I honestly think that there's benefit for both parties. Until twi admits they were wrong they will not seek forgiveness...and their burden remains with them.
  23. I think there's different levels of animosity. Some of us have been out of twi for nearly 20 years now...others have left twi more recently. Perhaps it's like comparing old scars to new wounds. Each person had their own level of participation...there's bound to be a mixed bag of opinions when it comes to forgiving those most complicit in that nasty little cult. Bottom line...You have to live with yourself. Eventually, a person has to learn how to let go of the bitterness or suffer ulcers and high blood pressure...we call it "moving on with your life"...Because they have not apologized or even acknowledge that they did anything wrong, I hold them in low regard. They have not sought my forgiveness...it's here for them if they want it but they don't seem to want it...but just because they don't want my forgiveness, it doesn't mean that I can't dump my bitterness...I loath them for being the squirmy little insect that landed in the potato salad of life for me...but at this point, it's more of a detached emotion...it's a calm opinion rather than an emotional outrage. I forgave myself for being duped by Cornfield Vic and his band of merry pranksters...but as far as it goes, I haven't got any calls from king okie, rosie the riveter, or any of the ghouls that work for them...nope, no apologies
  24. I think it's appropriate to mention that not only have they not apologized, but they were/are guilty of some most heinous sins... ...gross sexual transgressions, misappropriation of money, callous disregard for those who served faithfully, manipulating people into serving them, and perhaps the worst of all...lying in God's name. Like I said earlier...I would forgive them in a heartbeat if they genuinely apologized and acknowledged the wrongs... ...but the chances of that happening are about the same as OJ Simpson winning the Nobel Peace prize...so we move on with our lives...we put our pants on in the morning and we go to work...someday we'll die. In the meantime, we do the best we can...the older I get, the more I find myself trusting God.
  25. ... ...and I wish that I had never given them one dime of my money...but you know what they say, sh *t in one hand and wish in the other, and one hand will get full.
