  1. Thanks for the suggestion...but as hard as I try, I can't remember any good and godly elements...
  2. I don't know...maybe he was worse than I thought but in my thinking it was a case of "he just didn't care"...live or die...made no difference to him...as long as he "got off"...
  3. I just don't understand...is "getting off" so important that you can disregard another person's life?...Even when I was a hedonistic hippie back in the early 70's...consuming drugs, living a selfish, carefree life...I always cared about other people and would never have sexually abused anyone...and we are taling about a so-called "Christian minister"... How can anyone have any respect for this lowlife?...heed his teachings?...gimme a break!
  4. No...I didn't know her...but I thought it was only right to start a thread with her name on it... She was a secretary at twi headquarters for about a month when she committed suicide...It seems that Mike's hero, VP Wierwille was having sex with her and the end result was that she killed herself. Seeing that VP Wierwille's name is mentioned so often on this website, I thought that I would mention "Sandy's" name...her life ended because VP Wierwille sexually abused her... ...what a monster he was.
  5. Wasn't he a corps coordinator?
  6. The main reason that I'm posting on this thread is because I simply wanted to say...Catcup!...Where have you been?...it's about time that you posted! Your imput is valuble here...haven't seen you in awhile...I would hope that you will be posting more oten! ...The last words said to me?..."If your no longer willing to send the ABS to Hdqrtrs, we can no longer allow you to be a twig coordinator"... ...I laughed all the way out the door.
  7. I went out WOW in 1976...I understand what dmiller is saying and I have to agree with him...the kids who went out WOW had more godly intentions than vic ever had...and of course, that only compounds the evil of twi...they used the young, innocent, godly, committed people to further their hedonistic agenda.
  8. Terrific thread...great posts... It IS almost unbelievable...these guys went after people at their most vulnerable point...their faith in God. They lied in God's name! They lived a hedonistic lifestyle under the guise of being ministers of Christ. They made their filthy lucre and they screwed up a lot of people's lives. The secret society of f**kmeisters...and I think it's appropriate to acknowledge Paul Allen who was instrumental in booting king okie out of wayland with his lawsuit...it was long overdue that someone took that jerk to task. ...and today...what does twi teach about adultery? Have they repented and asked anyone for forgiveness? ...The late Jim Doop told me that the first thing VP wanted from him when he arrived in California was to take him to some orgies and porno places.
  9. My advice...Stay as far away from these twi people as possible. No debates, no agreeing to attend a twi "social event", absolutely no classes...Once they realize that you are absolutely not interested in their group;/cult...they will distance themselves from you. IMHO...having a relationship with a twi member is like placing a water moccasin snake in the bathtub before bathing...no thanks...life is too short for that kind of misery.
  10. ...I've been following this story...the men who are in charge of this cult are nothing more than animals......and I include Wierwille in the same category. The damage done to these young girls is horrible...I hope they give them all a jar of vasoline and send them to federal prison.
  11. Naw...that wasn't really my intention. I just thought it strange that VP and the pope look alike... I have nothing against the pope although I won't be kissing his ring anytime soon...
  12. Great interview!... ...As mentioned by others, it filled in a lot of blanks but more than that...it was a first hand account from a former top leader... Ralph should be commended for his straight forward honesty and the courage to tell his story. I think that the interview provides not only some "enlightening" information but also a credible source for people who seek answers. I find it incredible that these former "inner circle" boys could actually believe that adulterous sex was ok...even as the "ministry" was falling apart at the seams, they STILL continued their hedonistic practices...God's elite?...The average guy walking down the street knows that adultery is wrong...but they thought it was ok?...musta been that "spiritual perception" that they talked about all the time...
  13. ...and that brings up a good point. In my opinion, it really doesn't matter when a person got in or got out...there was no "lesser"...or "greater"...every person's situation was unique and different. We all did things according to our own timetables...according to our own experiences and according to our own hearts. "I got out a year before you did and therefore I'm smarter"...is the same as saying "I'm 6th corps and you're only 8th corps, therefore I'm more spiritual"... The criteria that I look at is...Did you get out?...That's the main question...if the answer is "yes"...let's go break the 2 beer limit.
  14. I think you have touched on a significant point...For years, many folks knew "something" was wrong...the events after 1986 opened the floodgates for people to leave...and leave they did. I never hesitated in leaving twi when I realized (in part) what was goping on...the tipping point for me was when lcm tried to micromanage every twig...he wanted me to fill out weekly reports telling him who was "faithful" and who was not...I refused.
  15. Actually, I think he's a composite of Vic and Andy Griffith...I see a little "Matlock" in the popes hair...
  16. I've read the book, I have the book... It's probably a notch above your average twi publication because Vic didn't contribute to it... ...IMHO...Walter was absolutely alluding to VPW as the "model" of his stated "researcher"...for crying out loud...the book was dedicated to VPW! White Dove can split hairs if he wants to...but I think it's obvious who Walter was talking about. ...and it's funny...because I am the opposite of a Wierwille apologist...and I also am dedicated to laying out the truth about an alcoholic woman abuser who stole other people's work and tried to glorify himself. Whenever I read some pasty sentiments that try to vindicate that scoundral, I usually speak up...I think it's a healthy thing for people to know the truth ofwhat kind of man Wierwille was.
  17. I suppose as long as there is civilization, there will be the "special ones" who represent God to the rest of us schmucks... George...what they do is provide an emotional security blanket to all the miserable souls who are terrified at the prospect of the end of their own existance...slip em a few bucks and who knows?...maybe they sneak into heaven some way. Making money on people's fears and superstitions has never gone out of style...it only takes different forms. but...going back to my original thought...I still think that Pope Ben could be Vic's younger brother...aren't they both German? ...of course, the Dali Lama looks a lot like a guy I went to school with...
  18. Good to hear your voice Roy...a voice of honesty, a voice of caring and a voice of a friend...and I think that says it all...keep telling it like it is... ...and so will we.
  19. Actually...it WAS an honest question. Nope...Can't think of any other choices...I think you covered both possibilities...unless WhiteDove has another explanation?
  20. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the likeness between the Pope and the Vickster?
  21. Hmmm...He may not have stated it, but I will...Wierwille's literal tranlations often made no sense at all...and when they did they were tailor made to fit into his own preconceived ideas. WhiteDove...You're not a Wierwille apologist are you?
  22. I thought that Wordwolf covered it quite nicely... It seems to me that anyone who spends a lot of time studying the bible on his own is not likely to steal entire paragraphs, word for word...from other people's books. It stands to reason that anyone who invests a lot of time researching on their own, would at LEAST be able to put it in their own words...but no...Vic simply lifted other people's works and used THEIR words. I would guess that the average wafer studied the bible more than Vic did...he may have been good at preparing himself for live teachings...but that's simply a case of keeping good notes and compiling them in an appropriate manner. He was well prepared in the presentation of the work that he stole from others...........big deal. Wierwille's talent was in the category of personality and charisma...what every successful grifter needs. P.T. Barnum would have had Wierwille on the stage with a microphone selling tickets to the freak show.
  23. Really...Can't Larry King come up with something better for his show?... ...Sounds more like Geraldo's territory.
